If this series does well on Netflix, theres no doubt they'll do more episodes. I'm seeing these 4 as sort of a pilot or testing grounds for a fuller series (atleast I hope so)

@@EyreKneeSA difference is between a live action movie and a tv series. While stop motion is difficult, the difference between a pokemon and netflix funded tv show versus a movie could potentially be the difference. We also have to take into account how detective pikachu ended, the game ended open ended but movie was a pretty closed story.
First time with Netflix? If it’s not “the next big thing”, if it’s not trending on Twitter by millions of people, they probably won’t renew it. They’re known for cancelling good shows, unless it’s basically viral it feels like

Since this is the same studio that made Rilakkuma and Kaoru, there are chances that they might make a continuation of the series ☺️ I’m very much hoping they do since it was such a comfortable and adorable show.
They made Graveler adorable when it didn't want to leave the island. Man I love this series hope they get more season. A slice of life pokemon is what we all need.
They somehow managed to make all of the pokemon look huggable.
This is by far one of the wholesome things from Pokemon yet, this series is so charming. Also love the relationship between Haru and Psyduck, way better than another redhead and her psyduck. Really hope they make more!
Seriously, I always hated how Misty treated her Psyduck! It was just trying it's best and instead she was abusive towards it instead of trying to work alongside it like they emphasize in this series.

Exactly and so ironic how much crap she gave Ash about his pokemon especially Charizard, when she had no room to talk, he at least work alongside his Pokemon and got better, while all she did was berate Psyduck. Heck Ash saw good points in psyduck and was willing to take him off her hands. While she treats him better now, Kanto to mid johto she was absolutely terrible.

I never saw any Pokémon series except This new one….just a thought but it seems like the developers of this series recognize/noticed that and are trying to not go down that Direction again AKA they are trying not to repeat that again with Haru and Pysduck and Haru seems like what Misty would’ve been if she wasn’t abusive to her Pysduck.

Genuinely bawled when anxious little Pikachu shouted out from the boat and when his trainer learned Pikachu was good as he is.
I think it's good that Haru caught on to the lessons quick, I want more episodes but it's okay if Pokémon Concierge is just a good mini series, maybe in the future we'll get to see more non-battle focused shows.
I loved this show so much. So wholesome and cute, and I love how chill it is shows there’s more to Pokémon than just battling. We need more shows like this.
I absolutely fell in love with this series, and I honestly loved getting close ups of the Pokemon to show how detailed they are as puppets. My only complaint is there aren't enough episodes to call it a series, but they are entertaining.

The lightning made it feel like they were on an actual island resort. The production did a helluva job at making it look beachy. I don't think I've ever seen a tropical themed stop motion.
Honestly psyduck was my favorite in this mini series. I hope they make a series with it.
Psyduck is such an adorable big softie and I love it.
Oh wow, the art style is gorgeous, amazing work from the team making this! The pokemon translate so well into the toy style and i even like how the human characters look.
I think it’s interesting how the elemental monkeys are a notable part of this series because they are some of the very few pokemon that haven’t appeared in a mainline switch game yet.
It’s not even 20 (or whatever) minutes
Because there’s the regular credits and then a huge chunk of it is actually just the Netflix credits, you get to the regular credits and it looks like there’s an after credits scene but in reality it’s just Netflix credits😅
I really appreciate how ambitious Pokémon is becoming, with Legends Arceus, a new protag for the anime, and now this show. I'm definitely looking forward to what's to come ❤
Still mad at how they use the elemental monkeys for stuff other than the actual mainline games. Like… the BB academy is in UNOVA why can’t i bring the monkeys in and my watchog

@@minicle426 what lol. Remakes are expected to have their regional Pokédex. TPC said that all the pokemon would return eventually. Gen 9 should’ve had that but they were too lazy to add 9 more pokemon? The elemental monkeys, the watchog line and the kalos dog. Like it’s not that hard to add the little bit of pokemon. And if it did require more time than expected, then why not leave out the pokemon that were already in Gen SWSH. Like… were in unova but i cant have all my unova pokemon? Or at the very least all gen 5 pokemon that haven’t been on the switch???
It's a nice relaxing change from the more adventure oriented store of the original series

I have a theory that I think is credible I believe the psyduck in the series was released by misty think about it timid and always runs away from people maybe due to Misty’s neglect perhaps this series takes place years after ash and companions story and misty saw no need for psyduck and released it

Misty and her Psyduck have a way better relationship now. In S&M we see that she fitted her gym with a land battlefield so that he can battle without the need for swimming, and he's gotten competent enough that he's no longer reliant on having to trigger a headache to fight (i.e., she actually managed to train him). Misty even left him to guard the gym when she went to Pallet for a meetup with Ash and his S&M friends.
Misty also often lets him walk alongside her outside his Pokeball, especially in the last few episodes when Misty travelled with Ash again.

7:31 My hope is that Pokemon C will have 3 seasons, each with 4 episodes to not only get 12 episodes, but also to also limit the amount of work needed to be done. (Stop motion takes a WHILE)
Can't wait to watch it, it just seems like the perfect mini series to relax for a while while ennjoying the cuteness of the Pokemon :)
Magikarp may need a floaty because there's something wrong with its swim bladder. Which begs the question of how it got around to the waterfall on its own but eh.

This series reminds me alot of those stop motion style tv series like Shaun the sheep or the infamous Pingu. Idk why but something about this animation style made me like the series alot

I loved this little series, but it would have flowed a lot better as a 40 minute short film rather than a 4 episode mini-series.
The Pokemon in 3d look fine but the humans just look... Uncanny

This is the series I didn’t knew I needed. For me, it is too short, but I do unserstand why. I am very hopeful that another season is getting approved.

That’s really the biggest compliment I can give ^^
A nitpick I have is that they try a bit too hard to be wholesome. I mean, an episode ended with a Gyarados. A pokemon that's only entries in the pokedex that doesn't talk about its rampages is that they effectivly have different brainstructures to Magicarp, explaining their rampages. If that was taken into account, it could've lead to an episode where they had to try and contain it.

The characters aren't really deep, the story doesn't any real stakes... and that's okay. This show is about learning to become more chill and enjoy the small things, and this shows how it should be enjoyed, as a simple but enjoyable experience to forget your stress. The visuals and animation are really soothing.

Something that catches my attention was that the Pokemon doesn't talk like the anime but they do like the games, the sounds they make are the same cry they do on the games
Are we just calling anything an anime now? This literally isn't even a cartoon, it's not animated. How is this in any way an anime?
Stop motion is a type of animation. I don’t know if anime is the most accurate word, but it is an animation made in Japan featuring a Japanese franchise, so most westerners will call it anime.
Haru might be the worst character in Pokémon history. Almost ruined the entire show
The episodes were beautiful! It felt so cozy and relaxing to see all characters going on with their daily lives alongside Pokémon. Plus the main character is REALLY freakin relatable. I mean working at a job that breaks you both physically and mentally and then moving to a new jobs that’s more relaxing but still having that working mentality from your previous job is completely understandable.

It felt like they had written a super cool intro and decited to stop.
I like how the first little sequence is just a reminder that even in a world of mythical creatures you can still work a job hate your life…

I cried during all the episodes. It feels as if the series is giving the 90's kids that grew up, and now working, the "hey, just because you're at the age of working, doesnt mean you can take time to relax, an "be a kid again, watching pokemon"

This show looks so good, just the way the characters move is SO GOOD. Even Haru’s ponytail looks like it has anime physics but they still went through the effort to physically pose it…so cool

I do enjoy watching Pokemon Concierge, it's a shame there are only four episodes but who knows maybe the Japanese writers will planning to make more episodes in 2024. If they are then I would like to see more Pokemon that haven't appear in this series like Rapidash, Ninetales, Emolga, Pachirisu, Tsareena, Milotic, Primarina and Florges.

I welcome and wish for more slice of life pokemon series. There is so much potential to explore interesting things about a world of pokemon and how to live them and everyday life with them. And as a stopmotion fan this series was very catered towards me and I adore it.
It was so refreshing to watch something so relaxing. I’d pay any amount to live at the pokemon resort

Furret was way downscaled considering he's 5 foot in the pokedex.

I have made Stop Motion Lego shorts on my 3Ds when I was a kid I still love Stop Motion to this day and I'll be watching this on Netflix since it's Pokemon and Stop Motion.
i watched this earlier and oh my god i adore it so much words cannot describe.. it makes me so happy to see stop motion not being a lost art too. the animation, the characters, the small pokemon themed details littered EVERYWERE.. the pokemon themselves!! 😭 everything is so aesthetically pleasing and the story is so cute and uplifting and it brings me so much joy and whimsy and AGHH man, it is such a good time to love pokemon rn

as a stressed out millennial with a spreadsheet job...Haru is very relatable, and I like the broader message of reconnecting with the things that really matter, and that bring us joy. Also the opening theme is amazing, Mariya Takeuchi is phenomenal and her voice is like a warm hug
Almost feels like this series was targeted at us who grew up with pokemon, but became adults with stress and jobs etc. Telling us all to take it easy and enjoy life.

Ironic, but i love a series portraying pokemon somehow with absolutely no pokemon battles. Ironic because fighting them is the main focus of the game haha. I guess thats why i like PoGo cus you dont have to battle, you can just collect pokemon and travel with em.
