Daang! Been watching for a while and all the tips that I’ve learned from this dude. The feeling of being automatic feels like you don’t want to stop playing every single day. It’s just satisfying and all my homies are seeing my improvement every week that is passing. And the last time that we played 2 of the opponents are guarding me because of my shooting, started from they don’t want me on their team. Now I became a threat to them. Never imagined will pull this kind of accuracy I have right now. It’s just addictive man! Thanks a lot!!!

I’m not quite sure if he went over this because I’m commenting midway thru the video, but one thing that helped my jumper tremendously is remembering to jump off my toes and really over emphasizing my pull up while I’m in the shooting motion, this is referred to as a shooting dip.

I copied Damian Lillard’s jumpshot and I studied him for years and what I noticed are obv the basis in shooting form … but what he does is he lets the ball roll from his palm to finger tips (while releasing and pushing up … basically step 1 pull up-step2 push with lower knuckle(on palm) -step3 flick fingers ----- as the whole jumpshot …….. do you think it’s good to use ????cuz I’ve been using it and can nail deep shots

I think the only other thing you could focus on is eyes 👀. Really focusing on looking at what you are shooting at. I notice a lot of players miss a lot cause their eyes will come off the rim and at the defense. Much like golf swings, if you take your eyes off the target you are more likely to miss it.

Coach Great Video! Are there any alternative other ways to fix rotation off the fingers?

Always finish with your hand in the rim. That's so true, every time I miss my shot, my hand is unaligned with the rim, 100%. As soon as I consciously put my hand in the rim at the end of the shoot it's better.

I have a one motion shot when it comes to shooting 3 pt shots, but a two motion shot for mid range shot as I have more control and makes it harder for defender to block my shots.

It’s good to have both shots. Instead of relying on one or the other. This makes you a 3 level scorer

At 7:40 where you’re talking about the feet I get it 100% but even when Curry goes right he’s not in line but when he shoots his body turns in air which creates you being in line with the basket, but I’d say having a 11-9 turn is more than enough but I agree with the being 12oclock so it’s alright

watching this video for the second time, i was wondering what was wrong with my jumpshot... at 9:16, Ryan taught me that i should be lowering myself in a squat position. i used to bend my knees but not enter a squat position and thats what was wrong with my jumper. I got to drop my hips, not push my knees forward.
