Cactus Jack and also before there was anything like auto-tune or producer’s/studio engineer’s tendency to over-modify the vocals and instruments (I know there were ‘vocal effects’, but nothing that you couldn’t do live, like Peter Frampton). Not to mention nearly everything was recorded with a live band... meaning when you saw someone live, there was a DAMN-GOOD chance their performances would almost certainly sound very close the album releases.
I was a teen living life in the 70's. Not much drama -no internet- no cell phones or even a pager. Vietnam ended so there was no war. This was a peaceful free living time with excellent rock and roll and soft cool sounds like this... great time to be a kid

Wow, I was 27 and living my dreams. Brings me back to feeling younger than approaching 70. I wouldn't trade my time and generation for anything. I grew up in a magical time as far as music goes and wish at times, could go back for a visit to see all of my friends who were taken so early in life.
