I managed to see a video of your's @ 1080p which was breath taking , but this one and another were only available @ 360p..... was this a YT or internet problem? I saw Kris say hello to you and noticed how compact your TX controller was. Thanks for the coverage which shows much that people on the ground were not able to see.
I hope there's no asbestos in those remains. You often see water from hoses being used to dampen down the dust when there is any doubt. Of course it could be raining. It's difficult to tell from the clip.
@@Boilingfrogg They couldn't reopen the road with it still standing, as it was structurally unsafe and could have collapsed across the road at any time. Even the vibrations from a passing tram could have brought it down - which is why when the trams restarted running they pass the site at a much reduced speed.
Quick question. Was this hotel formerly called The Ruskin Arms Hotel before New Hacketts? The reason I’m asking is because the building looks exactly the same and as I went back to view my Stag weekend footage back in 2016 and it was on the exact location on the exact corner on the same street?
Council wants it all down by today and road opening again tomorrow. I can't see it all being down today unless they work right through the night. More likely tomorrow, still quite a bit to get through yet
Brilliant footage many thanks for filming and sharing
Amazing footage. I have been fascinated watching it. Thankyou so much for posting it.

Sometimes takes UA-cam a while to make higher resolutions available with new uploads from smaller channels.
It can take over an hour for YT to process the HD version after it loads the 360p one. Try again after a while and you should see it in HD up to 1440p
@@fuzzybobbles Thanks for that....I'll look agn later.
@@Goldie644 Thanks for that....I'll look agn later. 1080p is my limit here .
@@binarybox.binarybox It's full HD now.
That work is as delicate as a mother sirting the laundry. Efficient, decisive and brutal.
Sad to see ☹️But very good crane operator 👍👍
I have been watching this when it was on fire and now being pulled down watching it on my tablet
is this what was on fire the other day ?
I loved watching that.

And it took so long to build it. (Why is it being demolished?)
And what trash will be put up on the site to replace it?
It's being demolished because it was gutted by a fire last week, leaving it structurally unsafe
they dont mess about do they
For an arson attack they can't get the building down quick enough? Somthing fishy. Not insured? Who says so?
The owner
They needed to get it down quick so they can reopen Queens Promenade - traffic is currently being diverted and jamming up all the side streets
@@Goldie644 OK but if there's been arrests surrounding the incident surely they should have left the building stand is it was ?

All you need now is some Benny Hill music playing in the background.
They are doing a very good job of knocking that hotel down.

Fred Dibnah would have knocked that down a brick at a time.
I think the council want the road open again next week, not in a few months time 😉😉
Braking it up like a biscuit .Fascinating on a boring wet bank holiday afternoon 🥲
IF ONLY ALL THE HOTELS WAS GETTING FLATTENED LIKE THIS .
He works like a rocket lol !
Can't see it all being down today like the council wants somehow, probably tomorrow
Let's see who the successful bidder was when this plot went under the hammer...
Sorting grabs &pulverisers can take a building down safely !!
This is better than watching some creepy twonk doing asmr, lol.
