Brilliant footage Goldie644. Looks incredible on a large Samsung Television screen. Iike the way you hold the drone in position like a true professional.😊
Fascinating watching this speeded up drone footage. It made me laugh when both machines were pulling the metal frame apart, looked like two dinosaurs fighting over a carcass.
Who would have thought watching a demolition could be so addictive. I think l need to get out more 😂 l am really enjoying this footage of the demolition work, thank god for drones best coverage by miles cheers 😁
You really get to see how a 30t machine is as strong as a 15t machine twice as far away. It was ripping those floor beams out :o) the driver is ace at decontaminating the site as he goes.
Be as well knocking the lot down from the slated roof on the right side off screen to the adjoining street on the left. FIRE & WATERS WEAKENED THE REST. building a complete new building from adjoining street to tiled building would be easier to build & faster than trying to tie into 2 dodgy weakened walls 1 on either side.
From the front, the fire-damaged block on the right was, in the 1980s, the York House hotel. Local businessman Dale Hackett who had interests in Blackpool nightclubs I believe, bought the hotel and renamed it Hackett's York House Hotel. In the early 1990s he expanded considerably, buying the three neighbouring hotels (up to King Edward Avenue) renaming the four hotels New Hacketts Hotel. In the years it has been empty, there have been several small fires there but sadly this was the big one from which no recovery is possible. A sad end to an imposing terrace built about 100 years ago.
Quick question. Was this hotel formerly called The Ruskin Arms Hotel before New Hacketts? The reason I’m asking is because the building looks exactly the same and as I went back to view my Stag weekend footage back in 2016 and it was on the exact location on the exact corner on the same street?
Definitely the best footage of this on UA-cam by country mile
Yes for the drone but other UA-camrs have there own spin which cant be taken away from them.
Excellent photography showing the extent of the damage....impressive Grab operator and the drone footage.,,,subbed.
Not insured correct. The two lads wats done all this. Should be locked up throw away key. Blackpool for you young roughnecks
Not the first rodeo for the operator of the big machine! Excellent drone footage of this site, gives everyone the best view.

Love the drone footage much better than "on the floor" you can see exactly what's going on. Keep droning!!!!

I bet there are a few old ghosts looking for new digs .
Great watching from above as well as at ground level thanks for awesome video coverage.
Stephen from walk on the wild side said it’s not insured.
Yes - someone ( sorry, can't remember who ) was speaking to the owner, who bought it from the Receiver
That was Visit Fylde Coast UA-camr
Well we know who might’ve started it. 16yr old and 18yr old was arrested….

👍 they have kept it really tidy too, the demolition company are doing a great job with the site etc.
I love watching this, so exciting.
What a fun job operating that wrecker.
When was The Hacketts built?.
Best way to view is by a drone, really good vid 👍👍
Ace.👍
Back in the day, that was some big hotel with memories for people, such as a shame.
Looking at the footage it looks like the fire was started in different areas to me very suspicious
Is the plan to rebuild the damaged/ demolished area only and infill or demo the whole block?
Super when are you taking her up next ?

Who is paying for the demolition work?
Is there sound on this video? I don’t have any.
No, no sound
Great drone footage. Was this whole building the hotel or just the part currently removed ? Does anyone live in the rest of the building.
