I have a PSP 1000, 3000, and Go the 3000 and Go are modded, but I bought the 1000 because I like the way it feels in my hands. The 3000 is nice but just feels like a toy to me. Also I legit bought $50 of UMD movies because I loved the Jackass tv show and shows like it that I just had to get them lol. All of them were brand new so that was a plus.
I'm downsizing my entire gaming collection to 2 devices. The first is the RG35XXSP which can emulate all your retro games from Atari to N64/Dreamcast/PSP. The second is the GPD Win Mini to emulate the harder to run consoles like the Gamecube/Wii/WiiU/Switch/PS3/Xbox 360 etc.... and to play modern AAA titles for the PC. It's crazy that these two tiny devices that can fit in my pockets can play almost every game in existence (except for PS4/Xbox Series games that haven't been ported to PC).
Imagine you're playing an AAA game on the GPD Win Mini (Elden ring, witcher 3,etc..) U play at medium settings locked to 60 fps, how much battery life to expect?
That’s what’s up! Thank you so much! 🙏🏾 Frfr some of that is just solely from the collection I’ve been building since I was a kid, and the rest is from a combination of me rebuilding what I’ve sold in the past and me going broke to obtain.
I'd love to try some of the games on the PSP or Vita. Saw them as a kid at school but had the GBA (which I loved) the 3d graphics definitely impressed me
Vita is a totally different console, it doesn't use UMD drives, it uses cartridges. Its like going from 3ds to Switch. Totally different, but LIMITED backward compat. But the Vita is substantially more powerful and has its own library.
My man, as for the GBA SP, just settle for Anbernic's latest Anbernic RG35XX SP if getting carpal tunnel is what you seek. I had the actual GBA SP back when I was a kid and, if there was a back lit screen option for the regular GBA back then, I would had traded it on a heartbeat. Nowadays, I just settle with playing GBA ROMs on my Android phone which is a breathtaking experience. Specially for games with gimmicks like Konami's Boktai Solar Boy Django, which cartridge had a sensor to feel when it was exposed to sunlight. This worked as a refill for the game's gun which, if the name didn't gave it away already to you, the sun is the game's ammo. The premise being that you're a vampire hunter. And you use the sun to eradicate them. And on top of that, the game was synced to your clock. Which meant that, if you dared to play the game at night time it would get more difficult as that's when the vampires were stronger. And lastly, this game was made by Hideo Kojima. Which he would use as inspiration for Deth Stranding.
I’ve been doing research on messing around with certain emulators. I just wish my knowledge on installing and equipping certain devices with emulators was stronger. I’m like a caveman when it comes to stuff, but thankfully UA-cam is here for that kind of stuff.
@RatedEd id say the channel Retro Game Corps is the best for setup videos getting everything started he makes super detailed easy to follow guides for everything

This was a great video dawg
Right on big dawg 💪🏾
You can play Majoras Mask on the regular 3DS, the new model only adds a few extra functions like using the numb stick to move the camera.
Word?! Thanks for the heads up! I’ll definitely invest in picking it up. Hope what I said doesn’t mislead people then.
@@RatedEd nah, its ok, the nintendo branding of all the 3ds/2ds consoles made everything more confusing.
@@RatedEd Theres only like 5 games that need the N3DS. One being Minecraft (Updated ver) and one being Xenoblade Chronicles 3D
