    I was at Heron's yesterday afternoon and overheard Peter calling to a colleague; "Has everyone left now?". From what I gather he was keen to film yet another you tube video. Well I'm very glad he is able to share his wealth of knowledge and passion through the medium of youtube. Appreciated as always!

    How amazing. I purchased an azalea last week to turn into a bonsai and it is about to flower. Can I repot it before it flowers?
    I am in a winter in a sub tropical area and have no idea when to do it. Our low temp at the moment is about 10 degrees Celsius. Our days are about 24 degrees.

  • @Frozenwinter84
    @Frozenwinter84 2 роки тому

    Im in the northern part of the United States, our winters get cold (-10 degrees Fahrenheit this morning) all of my trees right now are native to my location and go dormant in the winter. Would a Satsuki be something that i could bring inside and provide with a grow light similar to tropical bonsai, or do they need something more specific in the winter?

    I started them in October... will cut off, check and re-pot in a few weeks (3 months total).
    Then, I will try to train them into “whips” like in Japan - single-trunk informal-upright (instead of its’ basally-dominant multi-trunk bushy growth)

    Hi.
    what caused the presence different colors of flowers on the different branches.
    Is it the result of random hybridization or just a graft one of the variety of satsuki?
    Thank you.

      @peterchan3100 5 років тому +1

      It is due to hybridisation - not grafting.
