I believe the two trunks you mentioned is actually two trees. Seperate them, growing each in their own container. The styling of each will be more apparent.
Thanks Debra you are correct there are two trees. I would usually try to separate them. In this case the roots and even the base of the trunks have already fused together. I think a saw would be the only way to separate them. Thank you for watching and for the advice.
I am using calus mate. It is a brand name cut sealer there are a few of them out there. A waterproof wood glue can serve the purpose as well. There are additives in most of the cut sealers than can help to start the healing.
Honestly I don't know how difficult it is to grow an azalea from seed I have never tried. Cuttings are easy to root so that is what I do. Good question I will have to look into it.
That´s the great thing about Azalea´s. You can cut them so hard back and they will still create new buds from everywhere.
You made such an elegant and beautiful silhouette.
Thank you very much.
Looks good!
Thanks they all have to start somewhere.
perfect - please dont forget to make an update video please .... i tryed it also last year... but dunno what to do next - many buds there... :D
I actually plan to make follow-up today or tomorrow. Thanks for watching.
