    Wonderful work Madame. Beautiful specimen azaleas. Never thought to take the hose to the root mass before thinking it could harm the fine fibrous roots. Now I see how it will be a game changer at re-potting time. Good video. Bravo

    Very nice work! I have about 900 rooted Azalea cuttings and will be trying a few as a Bonsai specimen. Looking forward to future videos.

    Really fun and informative episode and, as always, you show just how straight forward this is species is to develop as a bonsai. i just wish I could find thicker / older azalea in the UK to practice on :)

    Very nice styling. I liked the pad idea and thinner green pot. Climate is to dry and cold here in frigid Colorado for Azalea. I was surprised how aggressive you were with the roots. I'm it will recover with many blooms. Please continue with the videos. Thank you.

    You sure have a terrific amount of Azalea. Magnificent specimens. Very nice tutorial. Question: Do you make your own acidic bonsai soil since Azaleas need a lower pH? Just wondering. Thank you.

      I keep all my flowers every year please enjoin them to stop them from flowers not going to much different but cut the flowers a bit earlier will help year coming better as what I did in the video

    I just bought an azalea bobsai at the garden center. It's not flowering at the moment. Maybe it wont. Dont know yet. My question: can i change the soil to kanuma now or should i wait? You do great work.

    My azaleas are very leggy, how do you prune them back to be a more compact tree? I love your hard trimming. I haven't been that brave. Thank you.

      My goodness all the way from Chile
      Azalea have fibrous root systems so it need to moisture but not water siting in the pot
      If you soils well drain you can water every day with out worry it over water

      It work but Grafting roots work better never the same thro
      Many varieties have two colours now

      Azalea they love acidic soils
      I use kamura mix with Sakadama
      Anything you use make sure well drain and nutrition

    Look how delicate you are being with the pruning. Like a hairstylist. If it was a guy they would take loppers and chop the tree in half.
