Well, I love the machine, but it had its share of issues out of the box... we had a starter motor fail at about 35 hours (it wouldn't engage properly). We had a bad carb. We had a propellor that was cut improperly (extra heavy, low RPMs). We had a leaking gasket at the carb manifold. We had a bad ignition coil (cutting out when it got to temp). Note, that these are problems for TWO machines (we bought two a couple months apart). ALL of these had to do with supplier parts to Blackhawk... and Blackhawk made good on ALL of them, sending working replacements (very quickly I might add) to keep us flying. Now that these "startup" issues are behind us, the machine seems to be working well. Really enjoy it. I've seen no design flaws, and no flaws from Blackhawk workmanship itself.

Tipping the scales at about 220... more during the holidays. The field is about 100' ASL.
