Good to hear! I'd suggest working on energy management first if you're not already very good at that. It's definitely the most important part for keeping yourself safe and when it comes to exiting! I'm gonna make a future video to try and help cover that too. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!
Good video, I will be working on these as it's my goal to get these dialed in this year. There seems to be a lot going on so I will be baby stepping into it. Have to learn that energy management.
Just be careful with the baby stepping you can't ever just go hands up and quit during them. If you feel then building bigger than you're comfortable with exit in a turn to and bleed off your energy! Good luck and have fun!
As soon as your wing hits 90°, you'll need outside brake. The bigger the wingover, the more outside brake (too little outside brake is the cause of most issues).
ok if im pointed at the horizon and diving towards the ground then i weight shift towards the ground and look at the sky right? then when the ground comes aroung i pull hard on the brake and overshoot the wing on the horizon of the ground and pitch back. i think i got it! Im gonna go try this. SO excited
Ouch we gotta learn you up. You’re missing half the maneuver. There’s a second brake pull you’re not doing. When you’re about 90% through the turn, then pull the brake even more to swing you over (hence the name). That’s when you need the outside brake pressure. As you build energy this way, you’ll need less of the initial brake pull…just weight shift.
It's better to learn to do them without throttle otherwise you will end up relying on it. Weight shift and timing are key. Just remember if you have a lot of energy you CAN'T just panic and go hands up you have to manage the energy or you could end up in your wing
They can be very intimidating. I'd suggest taking an Siv course if you want to gain some confidence in your wing. Also watch my video on Energy Management if you're progressing in wingovers it's about the most important thing you need to know and be comfortable with.
It's bad practice to grab your riser at any point during this. And some of your instructions are actually counter productive for a good wingover. The timing is off and the outside pressure isn't enough. You should check out Theo's video on wingovers.
Theo is definitely better at them than I am I'm sure. If you could explain the errors that I said that would be appreciated! It is a difficult thing to explain I tried to as best I could but thanks for watching I appreciate it!
DUDE just.......stop. plz stop. better yet listen to ur expalnation and see if u understand urself. thanks for trying tho. understand that there are a lot of new pilots listening to this.
Don’t have any questions but great job answering all comments, keep it up! 👍🏻
Thanks I appreciate it!
Beautiful. I've had experts say not to do the constant leg crossing. Simply use total body shift.
Good to know! thanks for watching ill give that a try!
Good job Grahm. I'm ready for spring temps. Tired of these cold flights.
Thanks I appreciate it. Spring is just around the corner!
Great job with the explanation and video combined. I'll give it a try..
Can’t wait to practice on doing them. Thanks for all the great tips
Ya absolutely. I hope it helps. Weight shift and timing are extremely critical. Theo deblick does a video on them as well that would be worth a watch!
Been following you for quite sometime Graham. Thanks for the nice instructional video... Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪 cheers...
I hope it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Nice. Thank you for the step by step explanation of wingovers that I'm searching for.

Well put I agree!
Actually this actually is going to help mine alot. Thank you. Time to start practicing.

Keep these vidoes coming
Thanks I will do my best! Im glad you enjoyed it
there is a difference between the horizon and the ground. just FYI. @6:32....thats the ground.

I'm guessing I'm doing that without thinking about it but I'll be conscientious about it next time I'm up thanks for the heads up!
Good stuff
You're good stuff
Throttle or no throttle starting out ?

I want to do big wingovers but I'm to scared
