New player here: Why did Serral cancel 3/3 at 44:20 Was it because of the 91 army supply pressure vs his 66, that he felt he might need those extra resources for units? Or is that more of an accident?
It's pretty smart now I look back at it. He realizes this game is going to be decided more or less here and now because they are trading out bases and so there won't be a lot of rebuilding of armies, so the 3-3 isn't that useful. It's not worth the investment because it probably won't be finished before the majority of fights and even when it does the extra units will be worth more
I'd recommend never to do that when you play on your own, usually you need better upgrades, Serral is the best player in the world atm so have that in mind.

Those two are make such a great match up. Still remember the tournament (IEM?) in which Serral already won the group and Inno was out. Basically the series did not matter any more, still it was one of the best in the tournament.

Gotta love how Grandmasters from all the places say mutas are fun but suck. Then serral proceeds to Stomp koreans with them consistenly while being almost 7.5k in the ladder.
Don't think anybody is saying Mutalisks suck anymore. They really found their way back into the meta again and are probably the most common lair choice against in ZvT ever since bio became a thing again in around February.
If there were any stomps in the tournament, I'd love to see an extremely one-sided affair for a change. Something like that 10 minute series with Serral and Lambo is what I have in mind.

Tehkenny1 i first heard Serral beating the Korean kespa player 8th team Baby(who is now TY). Back when kespa players were godly. Serral was only about 14 at the time. I knew he was special.
I think Innovation had some problem with his marine-tanks-widow-mine pushes. The amount of muta forced Liberators out of the game. Probably Innovation pushes needed both Liberators and Thors
It's still beyond me why people think making at least 2 spore crawlers at the bases is worse than running around, dodging banshees, losing queens, losing drones, losing mining time. Especially when they know its coming.
Nice casting and all, but the thing is I see the game is still in a terrible state where if Terran doesn't inflict some damage with these few early hellions is so zerg-favoured. These players are best of the best and they're moving pieces and 2-3-4-5 games were like seeing the same thing over and over again. And if the game outcome is dependent on the first few minutes where it's already fixed down to the seconds, it becomes boring...

I gotta quit watching Serral. I get so enraged because it seems so blatant that Zerg must be massively op. It just baffles me that the overall win/loss rate is pretty even when I see how easily he deals with what Terrans do. lol
Innovation's weakness is that he almost never builds tier 3 units. Just marine and medivac won't cut it in late game. He needs to build some BCs, viking, ghosts, ravens, etc. If zerg has viper, ultra, mutas, etc., and all you got is marine and medivac it is game over. Inno's game is too simple. He just stays at tier 1 mid-game builds the whole game. Even in late game he never builds any decent units. He needs to work on his late game tech. I find marine and medivac is vastly over used. They need to buff the viking, banshee, liberator, etc. Banshee should be replaced with the wraith.

This is ZvT how i like it. Serral did so many diffrent builds making it fun to watch. Innovation did more mistakes then Serral (like losing 8 Hellions win 0 Drone kills in Game 2, massive overcomitment), and so he lost the Series. I don´t see any need for Zerg nerf here, it´s just a superior Serral that outplays his opponent. Not that Innovation is bad, he is a very good player and could outplay me single handedly, Serral is just even better. No wonder this guy got over 7k MMR and the longest ever winning row at offline tounment seies in 2018.
Banes should cost a lil more gas to make. The way zerg is build, I swear they don't need anything but lings and banes to defend. At least thats what I see in all top matches and lings/banes are Hella cheap to make.

Usually if it's a TvZ game and it's not Maru, I just keep an expectation of seeing the Z win which is usually the case most of the time. I've switched to playing from Terran to playing Z it's kinda easy to spam lings and banes early game to take most the games, could hit diamond easily which was a struggle with Terran.

I found the proof I needed to show that SC2 on "faster" speed is too fast. ua-cam.com/video/HOjrkbJW6WQ/v-deo.html. No micro beats a 6200 player. Any "RTS" game where you can beat top players by A-moving is a disgrace and not an RTS by definition. There is a quick fix though... simply go back to using "normal" speed on the ladder. Then SC2 is fixed... and can be called an RTS again...
