Like, adjustability?" Kerrigan: "Do you remember what I told you on the battlefield?" Zagara: "Vision."

20:00 moments like these that make me love watching starcraft. a massive charge of zergs is picked apart by widow mines, but hid a few banelings under the overseers on the retreat, so when the terran push, they are destroyed. playing zerg like a zerg!
I've been a watcher for years, all because of your personality, commentary and casting. Really most of the time you're 50/50, half commentary/remarks, half casting. You went almost into full caster mode at the halfway mark in game 5 and it was pretty hype. Not saying it was better, but for these caliber of games it made for an intense viewing experience. Great games.
Excellent commentary, Lowko. I am actually listening only the whole time since I am still at work. Even so, I have a good grasp of how the game flowed just by how you casted it. Thanks for your hard work!
Oh, definitely. Not only were his decisions a little off, so were his timings. As Lowko mentioned, he had excellent creep-spreading opportunities around 1:00:10 and didn't take it until 1:01:40 or so. Totally unlike Serral.
Lowko man... you're by far my favorite caster and youtuber. I've been going thru some tough times recently but watching your videos is something that makes me happy! Keep up the great work!
Lowko, I do not know if you will get this but I want to say that you have inspired me so much to get myself back into starcraft. I bought Wings of liberty when it came out (as did most of us) and I just straight up sucked in the Ranked matchups and I am a very competitive player naturally so this was hugely frustrating that I SC2 was only for those that spent years playing this game. You showed me this is not the case. Your stream and the things you point out have been incredible when I think about my strategies in starcraft and how I can improve. I got a real long way to go but your stream has brought me from a tier 3 low level silver player to a top 5 in my tier 3 platinum league in such a short time, I call that a victory! I have you to thank for teaching me how to look specifically at certain pros and learn their build orders and "get gud". I have finally found the part I love about starcraft which is: getting better strategies, improving on strategies and play some ggs with other folks across the world with a super challenging game. Thank you Lowko!!
This is the earliest I've ever been! I use these videos as good ideas for me to get started, still extremely bad at the game, but I like to think getting better
Honestly I watch this stuff almost solely based off the commentary. I've been aying SC for YEARS, basically since SC1 came out. I've stopped for many years and recently started up again cause of these videos. It really is quite impressive the level of skill these young people possess in this game. Absolutely impressive!! I feel it doesnt get the recognition it deserves. After all these years I still have no doubt I could not get up to the skill level of these sickening professionals, and what surprises me the most is how young they are. Good for them finding a career based off playing video games extremely well
LowkoTV - Clem shows "adaptability" and also presence of mind. You could call it mental agility, too. A popular term at the moment is also "growth mindset" (from the book: "mindset" which talks in part about the psychology of great sportspeople and competitors in other fields such as business).
One of the finest ways to play Serral I have seen, just kept harassing and not sit back and wait for him to just spread creep just just roll the bloody map.
Lowko, very entertaining and you don't have much bias when speaking for the players. We can tell you like Zerg lol but it doesn't stop you from hyping up a Terran or Protoss player. Professional love it
Super interesting note on Serral's strat. He swapped into a unit comp that requires very little micro so that he could turn fighting in 2-3 places into fighting in 5-6 places. With Golden Wall being a huge map it adds another element there.
Hey, @Lowko! I have suggestions for answers to your question at 1:02:07. We could call them either Creep Waves or Tumor Waves bc the creep emanates from the tumors in a wave. I'm in favor of Tumor Waves Personally.
53:36 That queen dying was actually the nail in the coffin for that game. It meant Serral couldn't shoo away those liberators, so that base was essentially dead. He had 80 workers to 61, but with only 3 active bases, it didn't matter. At that moment, he was behind in army, behind in upgrades, and suddenly behind in economy.

I was thinking why dont they bury like 6 window mines ontop of eachother against mutas in your minerals? They go in to snipe it, and surprise and you lose your flock?
So Grand Overmind Serral met the Queen of Blades in a bar. They dated and got married, and had a child, And they named the child Serral Kerrigan. You can't make this stuff up. :D
I think that Serral was tired in the last one... he could change to roaches, but he maintains his zerling-bane composition too much ... even he gives up on using mutas and Clem made a medivac drop-lift party at the end...
Adaptability. That's the word you are looking for. Clem took in information, processed his mistakes, and capitalized on his opponents weaknesses. That's the difference. Grand-master players can take very little information, assessed in very little time, and turn it into tactical action to out play an opponent. That's the real skill.

*gasp
Just because you (or anybody including me) don't see the reasoning behind it doesn't mean Serral made a mistake, though.
He just topped off his mistake limit with that, its for luck)
of course not! It was clearly a tactical decision to try and lure the reaper in...
No no, when Serral does it, it's a "pro-move" that us plebs are just too stupid to comprehend 😂
wow, I'm flipping amazed. To turn it around being down 0-2... Just insane ability. this is why we watch Starcraft II ❤💙💚💛💜💓

You don't see comebacks like this very often but when you do its amazing to watch, to see them claw their way out of the jaws of defeat is great.
