@@Weecka2007 vs parting though? This happens a lot when a NA player or EU toss makes a build ...then a Korean toss alters/optimizes it. I highly doubt whoever Kiwian is playing on NA is doing the exact build PartinG is.
@@PrettyTonyi Do you play vs parting? or like 99.9% of players ever get to meet parting in ladder? so why would you need a guide on how to defend vs parting. Most people play vs the same level toss as they are and not Pro's. Pro's already know how to do it and they need no guide.
I wonder why terrans go viking vs carriers late game. It is dead supply after winning the fight and even worse if u loose the ground.. Why not going bcs instead?
I’ll never understand how a toss can have4k gas and no storm. Disrupters cant feedback ghosts and medivacs or aoe vikings. Just 4 Templar can swing a fight, why skip them?
Been away from SCII replays for a while, but when was the last time we saw a final of an event with best players without a zerg in final? (PvP certainly but can't recall)
If you are looking for a premier event, that would be DH SC2 Masters 2020 Summer: North America Neeb versus Astreus. But don't let that fool you, zerg wins a lot, almost to a stupid degree: Since 2018 that's 3 years zergs have won over half the premier tournaments with that stat getting worse over time, in 2019 and 2020 zergs have won almost twice the number of victories of terran and protoss combined! It's the same story for world events, 200 000+ dollar events like WCS or katowice. The last 3 years (7 tournies) have been won by 5 zergs and 2 terrans, since LotV not a single protoss has won a world event... That's ignoring that zerg is the other finalist in over half (28 non zerg premier event winners with 15 zerg runner up) so yeah zerg has been everywhere.
Are there any people betting on these games? Because if they are then this series seems very very suspect to me... Cure didn't just play badly and gave up easily in the 2nd and 3rd game, but he seemed to forget how to play as Terran in the first game... You can't win in late game by just winning 1 big engagement as Terran because Protoss and Zerg can both remax faster and counter your unit composition, you need to harass and try to pull the opponent out of position. He did none of that, he just sat there doing nothing and then the big engagement happened, Parting remaxed into Stalkers/Zealots and won... To me it looked like Cure didn't want to win this series, so if there are people betting on these tournaments that seems really suspect to me...
1.Its not uncommon for players to be 100% focused on online cups. They care about the games but the focus isn't 100%. These guys play in a ton of events, WardiTV stuff, esl, gsl, omlimoleague, OSC stuff etc. They are professionals but also human so you're gonna see mental and physical mistakes. Heck you even see mistakes at GSL and other offline events. 2. It's also not unusual for a player to hesitate or be indecisive vs. a "crazy" player like parting.
@@PrettyTonyi I know, but that first game just looked like a game that he didn't want to win. He knows he can't win by just sitting back and waiting for 1 big engagement, he is Cure after all, he knows this. So why did he play like that? He didn't just make a big misplay, he choose that strategy, that he knew he couldn't win with. Maybe it is fatigue and he was to tired to multi-task and set-up drops and such, but it looked really, really odd... Like I said, if there are people betting on these tournaments then I would be suspicious, if not then it was just fatigue I guess...

I feel like cure was way too passive and he let Parting get away with far too much.
ROFL . Wardi we need more “ 22 ZEALoTS just warped in thats DISGuSting!” Moments!
PARTING... full support. Love your amazing skill
Parting hiding those stalkers was big brain
When they fought it out at HSC 20... peak starcraft. I'll always watch when they fight
Gonna need Uthermal to update that guide stopping proxy Void Rays +BLINK ASAP because wow look at this new build order from PartinG.
Look at kiwians stream, he stops it so easily with mines, few vikings and marines
What was awesome to me was the adept usage stopping the 2nd CC from landing, and also to check the CC energy to follow up for DTs if it was low.

I really enjoy watching this video, LIKE
Nice series !! Cure played great too.
Cure was definitely a online monster, crushing all that dare oppose him! Viva la Terran lol :) Ty for video's, looking forward to your next cast.
A 28 supply disruptor shot, LOLOL

Game 1 no mech armor upgrades. Honestly just some bad play
Also late game Bcs are the counter vs carriers. Vikings are actually bad very protoss
@@otalgebra4436 BCs would have also made him spend his minerals and gas more evenly too. He had nothing to spend his has on.
@@peterchui1964 Exactly game 1 was all mechanics no brain. Vikings dont even trade well vs carriers especially in high numbers
