That poor island has been so wracked and wrecked by tragedies. I would be leery of going to it, until its infrastructure improves.

It's been 10 years that I been there to visit my family from Ponce. I will be leaving soon with my sister to see our Mom who is very old but Thank God my sisters who also live with my Mom take very good care of her. I would love to site see some area but we're going out there to visit Mom and hang out with my sister's so I'm ok with that. So proud of our culture and our beautiful traditions and the foods are amazing too. Can't wait to connect with my culture again. God Bless our Mother land 🙏 ❤
My parents are Puerto Rican. I was born and raise in the USA. I have too many times to Puerto Rico love it.
I will be there less than two weeks for my first time staying in San Juan!!! I’m excited and Anxious
Been there 20 plus years ago. I hope to go back one day. I'm amazed how many people think that PR people are foreigners-
they are US citizens. Also there are PR Jews -several synagogues on the island
Thumbs up.

Mofongooooo 🔥 🔥 La Tormenta en Las Piedras.
I have family in P.R, I was raised in Puerto Rico.
Good food you already know it 🤤🤤😋 and much more!!
This is crazy. We might have been in the island doing the same thing two months ago.
Had to cancel a big trip I had planned with friends to Japan because of early covid warnings (late Feb) so early March we just went to PR. I'm a local so I got the same vibes from our trip by watching this.
I also took them to the lighthouse in Cabo Rojo :) They got addicted to taking pictures from those rocks. I was so scared they would fall because we didn't know the condition of the rocks from the earthquakes. We didn't get to visit San Germán this time, but when I came with my wife last time we went to Porta Coeli. It was sadly closed but she loved it anyway.
This is a short list of what we did in either trip, and I recommend any of these options, and the approximate location in the island:
1) Eat a stuffed mofongo with creole sauce at Los Chapines in Combate Beach (SW).
2) Go to Playa Rompeolas in Aguadilla... a beach literally next to a town where you can enjoy the beach while looking at the mountains (W).
3) Take a Mixology class at Bacardi in Cataño (NE). It's pricey (~$60 or so) but you tour the facility, learn rum is made and the history of Bacardi, topping it off with a free cocktail to start and THREE coctails you make yourself. You can stay in the open area while you sober up, or get an Uber!
4) Enjoy any local seafood restaurants in Joyuda (SW)
5) Hike up to the peak of El Yunque in the rainforest (NE). Don't worry, there's a decently laid path and it's about 45 minutes each way. The last time we went, the trail was closed for repairs, but the view is magnificent.
6) Walk around Old San Juan's (NE) cobblestone streets and visit El Morro, one of the island's biggest forts built by Spaniards (NE). Enjoy local cuisine, the Art Museum and maybe a chocolate cocktail at the Cortés Chocobar.
7) Visit Ponce (S) , where you can find the hacienda where Don Q rum was first made, which has a Japanese-style garden, then go up the elevator in the Cruceta del Vigia and take in the view. Since the earthquakes are happening nearby, call ahead.
There are also more hidden waterfalls, delicious dishes and fantastic views all over.
Awww, thank you for sharing your time in Puerto Rico. I’m going in a few weeks for the first time. I absolutely Loved Hawaii,I’m sure I’ll love San Juan Puerto Rico as well 🥰

Bingo
Im heading to PR today.
This is my first time. So excited!
Im from Mexico btw
My husband & I took this extraordinary tour of Cueva Ventana & it was mesmerizing. Loved Loved it.
You should go to Culebra it is an island off of Puerto Rico (part of Puerto Rico) one the most wonderful places I’ve ever been.
Cueva Ventana reminds me of Hole In The Rock in Arizona. 🏜 Beautiful!
Know that I'am part of this Island and that others can see the wonders of the island that I call home made me fell vary happy. thanks for this video
❤️ Isabela ❤️👏 yes my beautiful town Thanks for coming

Ayyy thanks for the kindness! PR! My guy! When y’all say spots I’m like ooohhh that place!
We are going memorial day weekend for 10 days... definitely booking a tour
Been there done that! You need to g o for a touch of paradise ! Absolutely beautiful!
I’m moving to Puerto Rico
Did you move there? How do you find or hire christian ?
Planning my trip now - never been to PR thanks for the recommendations!
Hey
Great video. Heading to PR in April (2022) with my Ecuadorian-born wife, two of my adult kids and their partners. It’ll be me and my wife’s 3rd trip to PR (visited in Apr & Oct 2016). Were linking up with some friends; staying in Condado. I’m working on a loose itinerary to make the most of the 4 days/5 nights we’ll be there.
I finished high school there (in Lares) and lived there for about 5 years before joining the military. To this day I always discover something new each time I visit. One thing I must stress is that the locals are very kind and hospitable, however you should never ever be disrespectful. Consequences of disrespectful tourists usually end up on the local nightly news.
Preciosa mi bella Isla,,"Chiquita pero bonita".gracias amigos buen trabajo. bendiciones.,
Great video🇵🇷♥️
Off the beaten path, excellent work. Thanks for sharing.
Grasias por venir a Puerto Rico 😊
Awesome ☝🏾 to see ya'll come down here and even hook up with a Brother and enjoy yourselves That's Soo cool ☝🏾🤗💞 Blessings from Carolina 💞🤗
Thank you so much! to visit my country Puerto Rico 🇵🇷😘👏🙌BEAUTIFULL PLACES AND GASTRONOMY 😋😋😋
Thank you for this, I hope to visit.
I loved your video! And what I loved most is that's it's not the same places in San Juan where most tourists visit. I live in San German and most tourists don't get to see the beautiful places that the other side of the island has to offer. Great job!
The historical center of San German is very nice and photogenic (say, a view from the steps of Porta Coeli). As non-standard tourists, we have been there twice. Three years ago, we met there a very old man of Greek origin who was sitting in a folding chair near Officina del Turismo, and he told us his story of how he got there on the island immediately after WWII. I think his son has a marshal art studio there or something like this. We did not see him last year during our second visit to Puerto Rico.
Great video!
Great job...I've been to Puerto Rico three times and can't wait to get back!
😳 I’m born and raise in PR never visit those places, but hopefully I will.
same here except camuy caves. I went in third grade
I went to Camuy Caves a couple times (school field trips).
I have only been to 1 of those places (Jobos beach). My husband and I used to live in PR and we visit every year. 😂 There’s just so much to see and do!
Thanks for promoting our island 🇵🇷👍🏼
I love pureto Rico 🇨🇺🇱🇷🇵🇷
Tremendo video, gracias
Thank you very much, for be a supporter of Puerto Rico...I subscribed...good luck...Gracias
Bienvenidos a la Isla del Encanto!
Awesome. Thanks for giving some insights of what to expect. Who was the guide taking you around ? i ll be visiting in 2 weeks and i wouldn't mind if he could be my guide also.

I have the most wonderful kid life in my life, i born in PR I visiting many places, whit my family, i love mi pequeña isla. 2021, alla voi para mi bella islita. :)
Wow thanks 💞 I'm definitely going to this places. Hermosos 🙏
Thank you for showcasing my Island ❤
I travel to PR several times a year for work.. Usually stay around the San Juan area, but a couple of weeks ago, got to head south and southwest and absolutely loved it. Ponce was very nice. Not as congested as San Juan. Also, the drive from Ponce to Mayaguez was beautiful. I have projects that will take place in Ponce and Hormigueros and I am looking forward to spending time in those areas.
I gotta vist the island crazy to be Mexican and Puerto Rican one day I’ll go it looks beautiful
Bella tierra my father is from here from Pennsylvania (United States) but my mother was a national Guard registered nurse in Puerto Rico she's from Santurse Puerto Rico but she live her childhood days in Carolina Puerto Rico. Every place in the United States territory of Puerto Rico is different and gorgeous and the food is so good, the boricuas people are too sweet and very friendly as well. I love Puerto Rico. I'm about to have my next vacations in Puerto Rico were my mother meet my father cause my father was an USA Navy recruiter in Puerto Rico. 🌴🌞🇵🇷 🇺🇸
Im from puerto rico and this video is amazing
You still need to come to the town of Naguabo where they have beautiful seaside restaurants where they serve you fresh sea food caught early in the morning every day and try the tastiest mojitos you will love it and there is a restaurant i highly recomend called Ikakos right across the street from the beach,, now if you come on a weekend your going to find yourself in heavy traffic and is kinda difficult to get a parking space even though they charge for parking but your car is safe.
Like who wouldnt want to be in this paradise? My dream island. One day il be there. Viva puerto rico!
Wow very nice and beautiful and amazing.
I hope one day i can visit that country!
