Next time you should do some cave tours like Cueva Ventana and The Camuy Caves . You should also try out the zipline in torro verde and head out to Guavate for some amazing pork. Lastly i would probably hit up the indigenous ceremonial parks. There is one in ponce and one in utuado.
When I land in Puerto Rico I go straight to El Jibarito Restaurant. PERIOD. Thats my must restaurant when I go there. Its soooo good. Y'all did a great trip.
this is such a good video! as someone who has lived in Puerto Rico all their life i love that you visited more parts of the island other than San Juan and the separated islands which are mainly the parts where all the tourists hang out instead of actually visiting and enjoying the beauty and great adventures of the whole island. the food being expensive, to those who wanna visit Puerto Rico and don’t wanna pay that insane amount of money for food, i recommend getting food away from the touristy places (again San Juan, Carolina, Dorado, Vieques and Culebra) those places tend to have more expensive meals due to tourism. i recommend going more far west, northwest or the center of the island, you can find so many places with Puerto Rican cuisine for such a good price, there are many small open restaurants which most are bars, you can find those kind of places near beaches and they sell frituras (fried food) with meat or seafood and it’s amazing, some even sell actual meals for a very good price. Puerto Rico is such a good place to visit and there’s so much ground to cover and so many beautiful places to look at so if you ever want to visit this beautiful island, bienvenidos!
Hi! I subscribed to your channel a few months ago when I started my career as a consultant and since then I have been a fan. I am glad that you have visited my country and that you have experienced some of the wonders it has to offer. I hope you come back soon. You still have a lot to see, do and taste. 😊
One of the best guides to our island. Complete and fun to watch. So glad you enjoyed staying here, but I was curious as to where did stay in the big island. Would love to know next time you come around. Keep the videos coming. Love em all.
Such a beautiful video! So we’ll done! We were just down there in April! Love it and miss it every time we leave. I agree bioluminescent is a one time only crazy but amazing experience lol.
Peurto Rico is such a beautiful island with a crystal-clear water in Flamenco Beach like that, not to be missed! Wow, the entire tour footage compressed into 15 minutes video with sightseeing information and suggestion! I really like how you combined the foods, traveling and restaurants in this Vlog! The last day restaurant had 5 course meals from various categories that look so cool fine-dining experiences. Wow, this vacation would be amazing experiences at the end of the day! Cheers 👍
Kristina!! Perfect timing as I'm going on a friend trip to PR this summer. I'm glad a lot of the things I planned matched your recommendations. I'm SUPER excited. Great vlog :)
Glad you enjoyed it!! We didn’t check out the nightlife aside from visiting La factoria on a weeknight lol. We prioritized our daytime activities but maybe next time!
woah, thanks for this intensive travel guide. The vlog and blog website is well organised that those who wants to travel to peurto rico may find it easier to follow through. I'd love to try bioluminescent kayaking if i happen to travel to PR. it's surreal. by the way love the yellow swim suit when you did snorkeling, it's so cute! i believe it was a matching fit with other friends (red & white one if i'm not wrong).
I’m all about a good meal and might do that as a date for my husband and I, but I’d be looking to drop that for Puerto Rican food. I didn’t see much authentic cuisine on this video, but it all looked delicious. I feel like if you can do it, go for it, but for me, personally, I’m looking for native cuisine.
@@hectorburgos1489 I spent a week in puerto rico and it cost me $800. This includes an airbnb, flights, and a rented car for the duration of the trip. The airbnb and the car cost was split amongst 7 people, but my point still stands.
I know the video didn’t show everything, so what would you say your favorite cuisine was. I was looking for a lot of the typical dishes and eateries, because although I’m familiar with places in the area, I know there’s always new places to try. I know the $145 is not for everyone, but I do appreciate your perspective as well as local vloggers, and I enjoyed seeing the various places you ate at.
A tip from a Puertorrican when you go to P.R yes visit San Juan but don't stay there, go to the rest of the island the food is cheaper and better. And the best foods and coffee are not in nice restaurants go to foodtrucks, town bakery's, chinchorros and or kiosks you wil sace money, time and get the real Puertorrican food experience
we all contributed with researching food, things to do, etc. but I was sort of the consolidator to make sure we could do everything each person wanted to do!
Where did you stay?? I’m planning a 9-day trip as well! Booked the same airbnb for all days but wondering how you did it?? Multiple locations? Overnight in the island?
@ eek thank you so much!! It’s my first time and I’m SO EXCITED too! 🤩 Your video is so helpful thank you for responding! I forgot about the blog mention 😅 will check it out now! 🙏❤️
We opted to stay at one spot for the most part, and just moved the last two nights (one night on Vieques so we could do the kayaking, and then one final night near the airport). I think it’s preference in terms of airbnb vs hotel. We had 4 people so it just made more sense for us (and we made sure to find a place with free parking)
hi kristina! thank you so much for sharing your trip with us! it was very detailed and to the point. do you mind sharing your stays/ tips. i am planning to go in jan 2024. did u guys stay in one hotel or were you hopping around in air bnb. i look forward to hearing from you.
How badly did the hurricane from last year impact your trip? I may go to old San Juan and parts of the northern part of PR this fall as our other trip fell through lol
did not affect us much - the coffee farm we visited was experiencing the affects of the hurricane so all their income comes from tours/gift shop. there are some bad potholes (not sure if that's from the hurricane or was already an issue). we mainly were in san juan but not sure how it is in other parts of the island!
Hey New Yorker city girl, in Puerto Rico and other tropical countries and even parts of the US, TIMING IS DIFFERENT. When they prepare food in Puerto Rico, don't expect it to come-out quickly. Not only because it's island time, but because they ensure to prepare it hot and fresh. If a restaurant claims to open at e.g. 3pm, that means they arrive at 3-pm and really open like at 3:30pm. But otherwise, great video, I'd love to travel with you!
Nice video. Cute girls. I would have been flirting with you all. I stayed in San Juan one night. My U.S. Navy ship took me there. I was a Reservist so didn't continue on their 6 month deployment. Caught a plane back to San Diego. Good time.
The fact that the microphone isn't picking up the windiness from the beach's is blowing my mind 😂 Now that's advertising! Lol ordering rn!!
Girl, this is like Travel Insider quality! So excited to plan my trip for next year using this guide!
can’t wait to see the vlogs from your trip!!

girl this is a stellar travel video, just what i was looking for!!!
The attention to detail in this video is great with the Folk Puerto Rican music in the backround.
hahaha I did my best to search “puerto Rico” on UA-cam’s free music library 😂

It’s always $145 person for groups ??? Like there’s no way to just order a few things😭
I think it’s $135-145 for the set menu but I believe you can order a la carte? But not sure
That was wonderful. I'm doing research for a visit and this is the best report on Puerto Rico I've seen. Thank you.
Sooo happy you got to experience this

We stayed in an Airbnb in Puerta de Tierra! (And then one night in Vieques and one night by the airport)
Your itineraries are amazing!
Looks like a super-fun getaway! The pastries and sandwiches looked yummy. 😀
The pastries were soooo gooood
