    Bad video. Only superficially talks about some small differences and then rambles about two specific products. Paul's Hardware did a better job comparing all 4 board chipsets based on the actual chipsets, nor vendor modified boards.

    Lets Compare AMD X570 VS B650 and or B650E AM5 Motherboards - explain some major differences included on their IO back plate such as how many USB 3 / 3.1 / 3.2 type A or C, WiFi, - leaving processors and DDR4 along with DDR5 out of it because their simply isn't a massive difference between the two variations at this time that make massive differences at this early stage to DDR5. Also we barely touched the surface on PCIe Gen 5 related too NVME M.2 gen 5 so set that aside too. And doubt we will see any Gen 5 GPU's for 3 years. It also doesn't matter using SATA3 Solid State Drives or NVME M.2 third gen or fourth gen because the speeds are all still quite comparable at present, other then M.2's take up less space and clutter. And the final reason I chose to ask these questions are, 4K is very popular and soon will dominate the market leaving processors irrelivent because even an AMD Ryzen 5600 or Intel 12100 or 12400 paired with an AMD RX6750 and up or NVidia 3080 thru to a 4090 will handle bottleneck problems. So while sponsors push us to buy "NEW" you should share some of this knowledge I shared. Buying new undeveloped products will inevitably leave us at a loss as we continue to see on both Intel and AMD struggle for dominance over one another at our cost.

    I am extremely confused about a few things man please help me out...
    1) I want to put ryzen 8000 and 9000 top end (ryzen 9 8900 or ryzen 9 9900) processors in a B650e motherboard after 2026. Now tell me, if I am not doing any overclocking or may be only slight overclocking, will that 12 2 1 thing reduce my processor performance in gaming in future? If so....how much? Like 1-5% or even more (when compared to same Ryzen 9 9900 processor but on a X670 e motherboard)
    2) I don't care much about SSD slots etc but I absolutely CARE about my future GPU. I will use maybe RTX 6090 or something on this B650e motherboard that I am deciding on. My concern is....does that missing PCIe Gen 5.0 x8 lane slot in B650e have ANYTHING to do with my 6090? Because the only and only thing I care about is that my 6090 should be able to take FULL advantage of PCIe Gen 5.0 x16. I understand that as things are going, no GPU will utilize the bandwidth fully but I am talking about a hypothetical case that suppose 6090 is soooooo fast that it needs to fully utilize 128GB/s bandwidth of PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 in order to give it's maximum performance. I don't want any of the performance loss because of PCIe Gen 5.0 x16. This means that the bandwidth of PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 slot should be able to be utilised fully. Does B650e have any limitations to it's PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 slot? Like, Can B650e ACTUALLY handle the full use of PCIe Gen 5.0 x16? Or is there something cut down in its PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 slot....like for example a little modified and reduced bandwidth and transfer rate etc etc.
    .
    .
    You answer these two questions and I will literally be sooooooo thankful because I am mad because I cannot get this information anywhere. I don't want to spend extra for a better motherboard for features I don't need cuz I am on extremely extremely tight budget.

    • @Techfluencer
      @Techfluencer  11 місяців тому

      1, The processor will surely take a dip in performance.
      2. The same goes here, for the optimal performance that you are aiming for from your "6090", it is advised to get the best compatible motherboard for that GPU.
      It is close to impossible to get specs that will be top-notch and up to the mark regardless of the GPU or CPU generation as companies keep pushing more and more updates every year or so.
      What you can do is, get the flagship components from this gen, and you will be set for plenty of years to come.

      It surely depends on if you use the extra X670E features. I have a PC from 2016 which has 8 or10 sata ports, 12 SUB totals, 6 are 3.1. It has cmos reset button, slots for upgradable ddr4 ram (8 total). Now, after all those years, I've only used a total of 8 of the USB ports max, 2 sata for 2 SSD and the m.2 slot. only 3 of the 6 fan controllers. Rest was empty and will never put something else in as I will eventually upgrade. When choosing the MB, find first the one that matches your CPU and GPU needs (inc oc) + RAM oc profiles, then the storage options. Pick one that has good integrated audio with good software for it (it makes a huge difference) and get the cheapest option. More expensive is only for enthusiast build that really needs it like for workstations, not for gaming. Really it comes down to your storage needs and connectivity, but storage is the biggest thing here - more sata and m.2 will give you a lot more storage (but bear in mind the lower end B650E offers plenty for gaming as cheap ssds with lots of storage are everywhere). The difference from 350 to 478 dollars in your case I would put in better cooling and aesthetics, or if you didn't max out on GPU-CPU, 150 dollars or so is the difference from an 7900 XT to a 7900 XTX. In 2023+, cooling will matter more and more with everything auto-overclocking based on temperatures.
