Tonight on Farm Gear: Nick is on a roll. Scott goes to town. And Brad breaks stuff. 😇😁✌️
Roll roll roll your Bud, gently down the field. Barley barley barley barley, life is good with yield!!!
The drone flying at the start was very impressive.
rollin rollin rollin keep that roller rollin
🎵Rollin', rollin', rollin'...🎵 😉
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻
You bet!
Getting Michael Bay Transformer vibes with those intro shots and I'm here for it 🙌
"Ready to roll" has a new meaning.
Well the northern lights blind you on a late night,
Steep grade up ahead, slow me down, makin' no time,
But I got to keep rollin,
Those winged out rollers slappin' out a tempo,
Keepin' perfect rhythm with the song on the radio,
But I got to keep rollin,
Ooh, I'm rolling my life away, lookin' for a better way for me
Ooh, I'm rolling' my life away, lookin' for a sunny day
Always enjoy your content! Don’t always remember to comment. God bless your family and all farmers!
I was so waiting for someone to say "let's rock and roll" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's interesting seeing how much more comfortable Legarms is talking to the camera these days.
Scott I think it's great how you approach a problem. There is no problem just find a solution to fix a hic cup and move on. Great work.
We’ve got a fellow like Brad that works for us. Life would be a lot more stressful without him
Good thing they found out the wheel. Makes roll less complicated. It takes some horses to get it rolling. In fact it is the same as iron clothes. well well. 85 feet! wow. so you can make miles/acres. Good luck. Blessings!
No Rock'n'Roll but rollin'rocks🤣
Good to see you guys have enough work to bring back Wiggles. I hope you have a bountiful harvest so we can see him running a grain cart again this year.
Watching legarms do his things with welding and building things to make things work on equipment has made me a better mechanic and also better at helping with working on farm equipment
I think you guys are streets ahead of pretty much every you tuber in terms of visual and editing professionalism, Your vids are a joy to watch.
Leg arms, we won’t tell anyone about the holes. Your secret is safe with us. Great video guys
You northern folk needing your AC in the spring cracks me up. 😉😁
100’s of thousands of us wait for these videos day in and day out and leg arms greets us with those glasses
Hot dam!
Never disappoints
With all the fab work you guys do, you should look into getting a plasma table. One of the best investments we ever made.
🇺🇸 I was just getting ready to mention how dry it looked and heard you say it on the video! 🙏 Here's prayers headed your way for getting all the moisture you need to grow bountiful crops 🙏
We love our Mandako Twister!
It’s hard to believe that y’all just came out of winter and already that dry😭. Praying for some good springtime rains for y’all 🙌🏻🙌🏻
We had a very dry open winter and extreme drought last year so it's flat dry in Montana.
I looked at the long term weather forecast for Shelby, MT on Accuweather today till August 1st and other than a few showers in June 10 there is nothing but heat (over 30 C) for the rest of June and all of July. That would spook me and no doubt it does for the Welkers too.
Bad in commifornia, we can only plant 7 acres per 100 acres!
Of rice!
@@abetaylor5062, commiforna😂😂. Why only 7 acres? Due to no water?
It's amazing that a few years ago you guys were a family in the middle of nowhere running your family farm. Now people all over the world know and love you and your family's. God bless.
When I still worked on the farm back in the early 1990's I built the first land roller around here. We would silage barley and cut as close to the ground as possible. The first year the roller was only 12" wide and we did a couple of quarters. I work so well the next year I made it 36' wide and we roller all the land the farm owned. after about 5 years rollers were being built commercially up here.
LA, “that being said” can be easily replaced with(or in addition to) “since that is (or, that’s, if you prefer) the case.” Mix your phrases, it reveals how truly articulate you already are. Love you, dude.
The world needs a wiggle-cam!
Looks like you had a smashing great day!
Looks like a pretty nice roller. A can't believe it moves the Big Bud around
Goodness, that battery is doing some work!
Lot of "Rock and Rollin" on this channel! 😃Praying for some Montana rain! Minnesota has been getting some! Hope it moves your way soon! 🙏🙏
The starter on that Bud is getting its exercise.
Gees even i wouldn't start it i be like screw this
Roll on!
Guten morgen aus doischland. 👍👌💪
Cold starting those tractors can’t be easy on them
Praying for you to get that rain you need.
Oooh, she's a hard starting beast!
That's how you roll!
Overkill is Underrated.
😎
Overkill is underrated.
Love the aerial shots.
1:43 it took a while to get ‘er started but you did it!
Leg arms is boss! Master craftsman!
Praying rain comes your way and all the other farmers around you
And to keep what moisture you have, you roll land
Once more for the hundredth time. I love this channel!
Thanks for the video guys. I must have bad injectors too cause in the morning I crank and sputter before I fire on all cylinders lol
Heads up on the glasses Leg Arms (eyecare professional here for some info for ya), "Cheaters" are based on add powers for reading which is prescribed by age groupings. The lowest power that works is best since you don't want to overpower your eyes and become dependant on higher prescriptions. If you find those working better for closeup than distance your better off but if they work for distance too I suggest a proper eye exam 😜 long time viewer here 😄
That big bud looks funny
Reason 3 to roll ! Drive tractor!!
nick the last of the rockin rollers god bless welkers
As someone from the uk who never even knew what a big bud was before I watched your channel I think it's a fekin awesome machine. The restoration videos you put up about the bud and the international truck were what got me into your channel. Good luck and all the best to you and your family.
Praying for rain for y'all 🙏🙏👀...Thanks
👍
I wish we could see some dust. I'm tired of slop and mud here in michigan. I would gladly send you some of the almost daily rain/snow we're having. God bless your families with a safe spring planting season
Dude you are one of my favourite channels, you guys are great. Thanks for all your hard work in keeping us entertained
As much as I enjoy watching the fieldwork, shop fabrication is the best. The compressor bracket built was excellent!
Rollin, Rollin, rollin... Big bud's really rollin...... :)
I think you could try to something on that bud so it starts better like a webasto proheat
rolling rolling rolling!!
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always!!!!
Now that is the way to productively roll some acres! We do not to roll where I am from but it awesome to see the other ways farming is done! Cheers 🍻!
A big thumbs up to the farmers in Ukraine, wearing bullet proof vests and helmets, but still farming
Agree.....A big thumbs up to the entire country, but especially the farmers
Lol
The consequences of Biden's son's business
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable as always.
Loved the drone footage at the start of the video. Sure shows how dry you are. Hurts to see that.
Sincerely praying for you Welkers that you get some moisture soon for your crops!!!!!! My blessings!!!’n
That rooler is one big piece of equipment. Covers a lot of ground in a hurray. Believe you said 100 acres an hour. Great.
You said you had tried several different settings on the auto steer and finally got a setting that is working great. Makes field work easier for you. Great.
Big bud smoking a lot. Seems the starter is working over duty. Nick I agree with you that some of the injectors must beef some attention. Believe that is it possibly.
Wiggles , good to see you. Good guy there. Rock picker gets a lot of hard heavy work. Glad leg arms was able too get it welded and fixed up. Back at it for wiggles. Thanks leg arms.
Leg arms you are doing nice work on that ac compressor. Am sure you will have it mounted in no time.
Praying for moisture for your crops. May god watch over your crops.
All for now. Drone footage was outstanding.
You all take care and be safe.
Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for everything all of the Welker family.
The Iowa farm boy.
Steve.
You all are “rockin and rollin. “
Amazing work👍👍👍👍
You guys will tackle almost anything.
I enjoy watching your videos so much.
Have a safe spring. With rain. We would like the rain to slack off We haven’t planted or worked any ground at all in central Indiana
There is nothing you can't make Mr. Leg Arms! To borrow a Bob Welker expression, it will be a very "cool" experience to have AC in the cab again.
We have the exact same rock picker. And I have had to weld it back together a lot over the last 10 years. It is definitely showing its age and how much it has been used over its life, just like yours.
Leg Arms you never cease to amaze me on how you come up with items and make it work.
If u all are lucky big bud will last all summer come winter in frame should be on your list great vidoes love them
Poor Wiggles. 8-) Yes looks pretty dry. Cool and damp here. Rained 2 days ago now more rain. Been cold here in NW IL. 55 today for high and by Tuesday 85. Hope / Pray you get some rain. Hope the crew / Family and you are doing well. Take care - Be safe and always God Bless.
Thanks Tom, God bless!
Where abouts in NW IL?
thanks for sharing
Great to see Wiggles back again, thanks guys 👍🇺🇸
Wow, just when you think the opening can’t get any better! Go Welkers!
Nick’s a real rock ‘n roller this week!
Y’all should try biodiesel… they have kits out there to convert used veggie oil to biodiesel :) go to nearby restaurants and should get it for free
You have block heaters in those buds? Might as well wiggles Chief breaks everything 🤣
Another video of Leg Arms great skills he has.. all three of you guy are amazing at putting broken things back together and making them work and fabricating things👍🏻🇺🇸🚜👍🏻🇺🇸🚜Keep the great content coming. God Bless and Stay Safe
Hats off to LegArms. You are a bit of a throwback to farmers I grew up with. Most all had at least 3 things; cutting torch, Lincoln red buzz box welder and a well supplied scrap iron pile. Farmers used to fabricate most anything they needed.
I don’t see how you guys survive without irrigation up there. Down here in Georgia, almost no one farms dry land anymore. Hope you guys can get some rain soon. I know you have been talking about the forecast being a dry year. Hope not after the hail damage last year.
Excellent aerial videography and editing. Interesting learning about farmer other than corn and soybeans. Best of luck in this growing season.
Cold vertical down weave... When it breaks, just do it in flat position. If you're trying to get a bigger weld profile just do a three pass. Hot stringers are much stronger than a cold weave 💪 👍
A roller isn't going to do a thing for seed/soil contact. I have placed an egg sideways 1" below the soil surface, run the roller over it, and that far down the egg remains undamaged. Besides, the roller only compacts the ridges left by the drill, it never actually compacts the seed furrow.
You guys have the best channel on youtube, I love being a subscriber these past years now. Hello and warmest regards from Lethbridge area!
Pray for rain, grand-mom always did and it worked. Sometimes she prayed to hard and it rained too much, so she went back to church and prayed for the rain to stop.
Hoping for rains and a bumper crop for Welker farms and all the farmers and ranchers!!
As always, I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate your videos! Blessings! Praying for rain, BTW, you can have most of the rain we've been getting in south central Missouri... Please!
The series 2 never fails to make me go Wow xD its so sharp looking
When i make brackets i screw a bolt with washer in and then tac small diameter rod between each washer.. Unbolt it and then transfer it to a piece of steel to mark out holes.. Easy peasy life is breezy, happy seeding guys
I feel your frustration on laying out holes. Dyslexic myself. I’ve done the same thing more times than I can count. lol
God bless praying for a great crop and be safe in the fields come on rain do your magic
The Buds run a Cummins engine. If it is smoking like that and hard to start also check for an injector hanging open along with valves out of adjustment. There's one other possibility that the camshaft is losing a lobe. The N14 had a problem with that.
This is coming from someone who has been arms deep in a N14 on the side of a road trying to get it limped into the shop.
The 525 needs some serious glow plugs.
praying for some good rains coming soon and will give you an awesome crop season.
I enjoy watching the Big Bud in action.
Big Bud company was ahead of the other manufacturers if you consider the year that Bud was producing tractors.
The tractor allows you to upgrade the systems with new technologies which is great for your farm and you save the expense of the buying new.
I'm sure the new stuff that Case lets them demo is nice but, sometimes the old simple things with some quality of life improvements are the best.
Just my "from the side lines" opinion.
You are all dads, so there should be three times the dad jokes. We have gotten some moisture down here in Idaho, but looking to be a dry year as the snow pack wasn't that great. If Scott could come down and help me build an engine stand I could come up and help rebuild an engine. Just keep things rolling along.
Ok.. That 525 cold start was almost an intro and course to my ears 😁
Around Southern Manitoba Canada we have had our third Colorado low in as many weeks. Way to wet and too much rain. Hope it dries up soon so the farmers can start planting!!
Hey, another from out here. It spared Winnipeg for the most part, everywhere else is a mess.
You have to go slower rolling to push down the stones & press the seeds in and slows down moisture evaporation !! Easy combining !!
Roll on
