Where I grew up the badgers are famous for going after gophers. Which is a good thing. But after the badgers dig the gopher holes out so they can get to the meal, they never back fill the holes, so you are left with piles of dirt in your fields. A few years back a momma fox excavated a badger hole for a den and soon there were five pups we could watch from our living room window. They would come our to play in the mornings and evenings. Glad for the foxes to keep the rodents down, but it did make for a larger dirt pile. We farmed around the den.

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Super enjoyable!!!!’
First. Bob, your wildlife puns were great with the badger. Super puns. Badgers are hard to get along with. Surprised the dogs did ok.
Thanks Bob for your puns, they were great 👍.
Second. The drone footage in the field with both seeders going and that American flag flying is absolutely the best. Tells the story of farming in America!!!!’
I must admit , my eyes were wet. Made my day. My heart strings were singing America the Beautiful!!!!!
Heartfelt thanks to you for doing that drone footage. God bless!!!!
Third. Thanks for the footage on the bin being built. Was so interesting and great footage. The shadow of the other bin moving over was wonderful to watch.
Sorry you had some problems with the bin order and the stronger supporters to guard against the wind. Glad you were able to get that situation straightened out and got the wind proof bin you want. Sounds like a good company to work with.
Lots of work putting a bin up. Thanks again for the footage.
Sorry to hear the big bud needs some seals to stop the oil leaking. Know that will be a big job but you all are up to fixing the leaks. Good time to change the oils.
Hard work seeding and planting for these tractors. Good maintenance is so important. You all do great in that area.
About it for now. Was a busy busy video. So enjoyable. Made my day.
Loved the drone footage out in the field. America the Beautiful!!!!!!!
    Thanks Welkers!!!!!!
You all take care and be safe.
Looking forward to the next video for sure.
Thanks for everything you do for us.

20 some years ago I met a young lady who came to live with her mother. She unfortunately hooked up with a young man known to be very jealous, possessive and violent. To get away from him she went back to California where she grew up with her father.
A few years later our local grain elevator was putting up another huge bin. A crew out of Texas came up to put up the bin.
At the same time that young lady popped up in town. I thought maybe she moved back. It turned out she was the supervisor running the crew building the grain bin. 🙂🙂🙂 A.l the guys had to do what she said. 😀😀😀

Hi guys Iam a farmer from the uk and I find your videos amazing, it’s interesting the different approach we both have as you guys run older kit and always having to repair kit whereas we keep our tractors for 3 years max and they are on service contracts so the only maintenance we do is to grease the implements and change any worn metal. I think we could learn a thing or 2 from you. And buy the way some of the projects you do is great and I love seeing what you do are you all trained mechanics or just home taught? Great videos keep up the good work.

Dad sold bins back in the ‘60’s. The side sheets on those were vertical so we either assembled the roof on top, or on the ground, then used a crane to lift it in place. Either way, it was really loud on the inside if you were the nut holder with impact guns shooting bolts from the outside. Thanks for the memories!

We had a badger in our pasture behind the house a couple years ago. Called the fish and game, he said just leave it alone for a couple days and it will move on to better hunting ground. Sure enough he left in a couple days. My granddaughter raised a baby badger several years ago, best pet we ever had. Litter trained, love playing with the kids. Great video guys.

My Grandfather had pet badgers. My Mother played with them as a young girl. He had to release them when he went to war. A wild badger is pretty dangerous, we have them and I would not get that close they have torn coyotes apart which I am glad with that. Glad Pete and Patch are good. Glad the big bud made it thru pea seeding. Always neat to see a building built. Excellent videoing and editing. Be safe all.

The badger scene was interesting. My father grew up on their farm near Asquith until he went to war. He told me stories about how "mean" badgers could be, especially if they felt cornered. Ranchers dislike badgers because of a cow or a horse stepping in the burrows that badgers make. . . . Badgers know how to disappear quickly by digging themselves in. Bob always adds to the videos. 😁

Talking about wind. I live down in Idaho, and one day, I overheard two farmers talking about the wind. One farmer said I have a thick concrete post in my yard, with a chain hanging from it, the links are one inch thick. When the chain is rocking back and forth, it's a light breeze. When the chain is out at a 45 degree angle, it's a stiff breeze. When the chain is 90 degrees to the post and links are flying off....it's windy. It's all a truck driver and I could do to keep from spewing our coffee all over the place. Enjoy the laugh.

I would have gone with you guy's on getting the rest of the parts to stiffen that bin. We have been having crazy wind, and not just in the US, but all over the world.
