The verse you shared makes me think about the cost of following Jesus and how our faith influences those around us because we are meant to be a reflection of who God is. So that’s why we need to obey His commands so that those looking in from the outside know what is expected or rather don’t think that living in sin is the same as following Christ because they see “Christian’s” living in sin….. it’s not about religion but fellowship and a relationship with God that is based on mutual respect, love and commitment. When you value someone, you always want to do right by them
