Compared to a X-maxx that costs 1000$ it is some what cheap.
It's cheaper compared to most higher quality rc cars, like traxxas cars and others. Also, the title says "cheapish".

I love my J3 Speed had it for a month b4 I took it to a skate park and broke the rear dif. its been down for about 2 months now due to that most of the screws were already stripped and I have been having problems getting to the dif and I finally did last week and the parts won't ship till the end of September shipping takes forever from china.
It's really nice you premiering the videos so people and you can have a chat and watch the video which is really cool

Dude, you'll need some foam tires or something if you wanna get that any faster than 50mph. I'd bet, that on 4s, with some fairly aggressive gearing, you might be able to get 100mph out of it.

Hey kev you probably won't read this but have you thought of getting the bash armor short course flo tek body for the slash it's like an indestructible body also a vg racing chassis brace will help to not snap/break your chassis

That ESC is an Hobbywing, but that is the RTR version of the wpsc8 and only have 5 settings you can do. You will see that RTR version in many cars!

need some belted grp tires on that thing if u want to wind it up so they dont balloon and drag you into the curbs.
I know you aren't into buggys much but would you consider trying the arma typhon v4 6s? I would love to hear your thoughts on it and it's a great basher for a buggy!

Lo Ranger the XO1 has more than enough torque to drive on a drag strip.
There are plenty of videos of them doing it

Hi hoping someone can help. I have a HSP Beam buggy. It has a combined ESC and servo, I have had to change the ESC which I purchased from Nitrotek who I got the car from. It didn't come with any instructions etc. So I have installed it. But when I turn the control and then the car on the light on the ESC keep flashing and the control doesn't do anything. How do I sync them? I pressed the button on the ESC the light just keep flashing and it never stays solid.
I love the cheap car bashing anyone can get into the hobby at that price point.
I'm thinking a couple of thin 3D printed TPU bands might actually stay on those tyres.
