Except that he didn't explain how to memorize the notes at all, only how to identify them based upon the notes on the low E string and the octave pattern, a useless method when actually playing the instrument. You simply do not have the time. You must be able to identify each note by sight immediately. Anything less is grossly insufficient.

Eat Acid Daily Get Baked Eternally This was a great program. I was a lead singer/writer over 25 years, but I've played guitar longer. I'm fairly decent at rhythm having taught myself starting with Elvis, then Beatles, Wings, Who and other great classic rock from 50's through 70's I never became real proficient because I didn't have the patience to learn any theory. I was great at parties with the acoustic and used my acoustic to write dozens of solid songs, but rarely played acoustic or electric live, and knew zero soloing. Now I'm retarded...er I mean retired and at 57 but don't look at day over 56 and a half, I've got time to learn! @@esterdrass4964 The pentatonic scale is a good starting place. You play 2 notes per string and this builds up your ability. Here's a video I did on it ua-cam.com/video/SSvXt17l6RM/v-deo.html
@@guitar-academy Thanks! I am going there. I litterally flipped the guitar around to see if the fingers on my other hand are better and they are not. So this will time.

One that I found more memorable is Every Acid Dealer Gets Busted Eventually
But i find more easy on every beautiful girl deserve an eye.
It's really easy if you learn your perfect fourth intervals.
That's the one I was taught. :)
Eat Acid Daily Get Baked Eternally
This was a great program. I was a lead singer/writer over 25 years, but I've played guitar longer. I'm fairly decent at rhythm having taught myself starting with Elvis, then Beatles, Wings, Who and other great classic rock from 50's through 70's
I never became real proficient because I didn't have the patience to learn any theory.
I was great at parties with the acoustic and used my acoustic to write dozens of solid songs, but rarely played acoustic or electric live, and knew zero soloing.
Now I'm retarded...er I mean retired and at 57 but don't look at day over 56 and a half, I've got time to learn! This really helped, I am actually learning new stuff (for an old dog) and having fun doing it!
Thank you brother!

About six minutes into your presentation we here at GGG want to thank you so much for mentioning about the octaves. We never quite got that as far as octaves doubling or tripling or losing a band of frequency and now you’ve clarified that for us ⚡️ 🔁🔊
It's great you got something good from the video . . thank you . . 😀😀
