i think it's pretty different from live recording, the voice directors can give better feedback. and sometimes what you hear through a zoom call is slightly different from live. good thing the cast has access to good microphones

I love how some the characters conserve the Colombian or latino accents. That sound is so familiar and makes me feel so comfortable while watching the movie if you are not a native speaker
I'd have to say the same thing, since I learnt English fluently people constantly tell me I have and accent, and I've been pretty self-conscious of it because I wasn't sure how it sounded and whether they could understand the way I spoke, after listening to people like Caroline Gaitán speak and sing in English was when I realized I spoke a similar way, this being with a Colombian accent that sounded rich and kind of graceful, since then, I've felt more comfortable speaking English and stopped forcing an American accent in it, if that's what English sounds for me as a Colombian, I'll accept it because even in it I can keep a part of who I am.

I think they left it out so that Mirabel and Abuela were the only two throughout the film who communicated with Casita. It actually felt weird to me to hear Camilo talk to Casita lol

Since many also speak Spanish I wonder how many ot them lent their voices in the translation. I watched the movie in Spanish and the voice acting it's outstanding as well
From what little I've seen of the Spanish dub, at least Abuela and Pepa have the same voice actors as in the English dub. There's probably more, though!

Not only Latino, actually Colombian or having Colombian ascendence. The only exceptions are Camilo and Antonio if I'm not mistaken.
