The moment when I first became aware that of how well produced this movie was from a musical standpoint was in “we don’t talk about Bruno” when I noticed choreography of the table setting scene at the moment when all the characters start singing their parts over each other. Awesome moment
Yeah, same here! I noticed how they purposely put effort into the choreography that the Madrigals are doing in the table scene, like you said. Well, I was starting to notice it with Pepa's family members' dancing, but I was officially blown away by the table setting scene.
everyone's talking about the rat choreography but why arent yall talking about casita keeping mirabel from getting a bowl for abuela just for headpats or casita not letting luisa move forward unless she fixed the chair by blocking her with a plant these casita studies are amazing
I actually wish they would have used even more of the original choreography in the movie, like 2:01 when everyone slowly moves around Isabela, 2:47 with those salsa kicks, 2:52 the way the two women push the chairs in (with their hips at one point), 2:58 the way they actually reprised all the movements in their original parts, 4:16 ALL of this and 4:25 THIS Don't get me wrong, I love the movie and think they all did a great job, I just would have *loved* to see that choreography used to elevate the movements even further. It's incredibly hard to make choreography not knowing what all the camera blocking, animation visuals and effects are going to look like and they pulled it off in a way that I didn't think was possible. Great work to that choreography team, they will have a very bright future!
Encanto has everything. With the undeserved hype frozen got i was super hesitant to bother watching encanto. Moana and tangled were better than frozen in choreography, story, music, character development, and artwork. But encanto??? Encanto is a league of its own. I was glued every second
Sorry, the dancers doing the part of the rats in We don't talk about Bruno made me laugh too much xD I really love all of this, the animation is INCREDIBLE in this movie.
I have so much appreciation for all the work that went into making this movie as magical as it is, which includes animating first Mirabel, then the movement of her dress, and adding the embroidered details to her dress. Same thing with "What Else Can I Do" (well, any of the songs, really), they animate the character, they have to choreograph the actions, and animate the whole thing.
3:05 oh my.. I always *LOVED* camilo's dance at this part.. its just too good for meh- Also at 6:03 isabella's movements kinda seemed familiar to me, but then I understood that her movements kinda looks like Anna's from frozen in my opinion
So the movie is great and I love the characters. I just have to laugh though at whoever created mirabel because she looks almost exactly like someone I used to go to school with to the point I can’t take her seriously. Like the glasses, hair, dress , even personality and mannerisms. They were Latina. It’s so close I can’t take mirabel seriously so when I watched the movie the first time I couldn’t stop laughing. Good job animators 😂😆. Hood movie though.
Lol am honestly think that camilo's part was supposed to have other people singing too like I think they were planning on putting Bruno in like a group of people with him being the leader 1:09 OR Bruno's rats are smart

Dolores and Mirabel's dance at 0:59 gotta be my most favorite dance step in the entire choreography of We Don't Talk Abt Bruno
yes, have no idea why i noticed that step out of all of it.
That part was just so fun to watch 😆
Yea
true
Me too! What’s it called?

The animation of Mirabel's skirts just amazes me every time I watch it. ❤❤❤
I love these dance choreography videos! The art in Encanto is wonderful. Thanks for sharing this!
Gosh they are so freaking good.
I mean just all of them.
I'm crying 😭😭 the amount of effort given to the movie is chef's kiss

WHOEVER WAS HIRED TO DANCE FOR THE RATS SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY GET A RAISE AND GET PAID 100 AN HOUR
Mirabel’s skirt. All I gotta say.
Where are you finding these? I was hoping Disney+ would have a mini series like they did for Frozen 2, but I couldn’t find anything about this movie.
They might put something like that on Disney plus since its getting so much recognition
7:23 best characters :3

Did an employee actually wear a shirt saying "HOY NO SATANAS" to a Disney studio??? Balls
They probably didn't know what it meant

*The rat’s choreography-*
NOT THE DRESS
j
ehm.....i'm sorry for saying that but…the choreography is fake
This could be a rehearsal. They do have to choreograph as I don’t think the software can create movements like that without human motion samples.
STOP OLAKDHNUJJN broken nose mariano just spinning with the soundtrack in the back this shouldnt be so funnym help
the final soundtrack is cool, but damn. this is cool.
