Your voice brought back fond memories of my neighbor who was from Holland . She was an older lady and taught me to crosstitch, knit sweaters and make quark tarts . She has since passed away and I miss her dearly . She sang Dutch songs to our youngest child ,!
Hiya 🌞, IMO your accent is delightful- English is a difficult language at the best of times!- lf we could all speak Dutch half as well it would make for interesting chats! Love how you show us how to save on the fabric also😊l have some lovely brocade pieces that l will incorporate so as to make for memory gifts for the family so we can reminisce and keep as memories in the future! Also like how you show possible mistakes and how to correct them. Best wishes for 2024,and to all here, J.I.M.K Mrs. Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺 ♥ 😀
Hi! 😁 Thank you so much for all your compliments! 😊❤️ 'Dankjewel' as we say in dutch. Have fun making those beautiful memory gifts and I'm wishing you and yours a happy 2024!
Please don't worry about not knowing the exact words. I absolutely love your accent and I can completely understand what you are saying. Thank you for your videos. I watched a lady make these but the way she measured her lines was absolutely confusing and I couldn't see what she was doing on top of that. So I'm very thankful for your video. I have always wanted to make these and now I can thanks to you.
Thank you thank, you are fantastic! I can understand you very well, I worked for a Dutch company in Dubai, and love everything Dutch… and your instructions are absolutely fabulous. Perfect
Your English is wonderful! I was listening to you just smiling because my sister in law is Dutch and your voice sounds so much like hers it made me miss her a bit less.
Dankjewel I love all your videos in both English and Dutch. Thanks for such great ornaments. I think your English is very good it is like listening to my Tante again
Your English is wonderful. The instructions are easy to follow. Because of your exact measurements I should be able to easy try this on a 9 inch ball. Thank you so much for an excellent tutorial video!
Thank you so much for your excellent tutorial ❤ Your English is very good and you explained it very well. I am a visual learner and your video helped so much! I subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to more tutorials 😊
Thank you so much for your lovely comment 😊 ♥️ Last year we were busy with home improvement and a move. But... I am planning to do at least one video before Christmas.
I love to watch your videos as they’re so beautifully explained and when you make a mistake you explain how to remedy that! And yes, your accent is absolutely delightful!
I have been looking for a way to save on fabric, thank you very much for this video! Going to be making these with my kids as teachers gifts for Christmas =)
Wow amazing hun my name is nina mary j from Facebook you did really well with you speak language I've been using the squares thank you for showing me a different way of doing them you will save a lot of fabric
Omg!!!!!!!! Wonderful and precise tutorial, best I've seen, amazing English ( better than my Dutch 😊 which is non existent lol ). Thank you so much for sharing this, think I may make some purchases this afternoon and start making, the clever way you've saved on fabric and full explanation is great. I have subscribed and look forward to more tutorials, thanks again Diane aka dizzeycraft
Your tutorial was very clear and and your special hints are most helpful! I’ve made these before, but will try your new techniques! Thank you! 🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄
Another trick to keep short pins from coming out. Take a square of cardboard and put a small amount of glue on it as you are ready to stick the pen first dip the point of the pen into the glue and then into the ball. It will dry and secure it better into the ball.
your accent is beautiful and easy to understand. I would like to veryify in inches the size to cut the rectangle as the Ornament girl does her 2 x 4 and your instructions say 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 "
Thank you! 🥰 The 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 is the minimum size required and taken from the dutch 4x7 cms. You can use 2 x 4 if you want, it's just more fabric you don't really need, but it might work easier for some. Just do what you feel most comfortable with. 😘
Hello Miranda Your tutorial is so easy to follow . Your English is very good My ball is 7 cm How do I work out the size of the fabric please ? Thank you
I just saw your video, which I enjoyed very much. Where can I find the paper strips you used to measure your marks on the circumference of the ball? I hope I can find them in the USA. Thank you.
Thank you Terri! The strips I use are math paper with the metric system; just because I had them at hand. You can just use ordinary printing paper and divide in 8 as shown in the video.
this year, I have got way better than last year and your Idea saves me a lot of fabric, Thank you :) also I turned my apt into a painting space cuz I love decorating ;) here my first DIY video if you are interested ua-cam.com/video/7cybZBQy6U4/v-deo.html

I would like to try making a 9.6 cm ball. have you ever done one and if so how would I go about it with all the measurements and such?
You can add an extra layer or cut the rectangles a bit larger. About 9 x 5 cm for your ball.
Well done, it’s beautiful…you explain very well….. I’ll subscribe to your channel so I can follow you….. greetings from Italy
Thank you so much 💕 😊
Hello Miranda

My ball is 7 cm
How do I work out the size of the fabric please ?
Thank you
Thank you for the compliment Daphne 😊 You can use the same size fabric pieces for the 7 cm ball.
Thank you 🙏 but what is the size of those fabric squares??
They are 7 x 4 cms.

At a wholesaler in the Netherlands.
What is the.measurements of the.fabric you cut? Are they.all the same.cut?
7x4 cm, all the same.
Hello. Did I miss the fabric measurements? What is the size of the rectangles, please?
