That being said I'm sure having a Warhammer painting channel isn't racking in the big bucks like all the other mindless streamers tap dancing for a camera Or the models that stream themselves sleeping while weirdos send them money.😂😂😂😂
Cant really stress this enough, the Evo is a pleasure to use and I can even do detail work on the .45 if I am too lazy to change the needle and nozzle setup.
What I love is that your version of the brush is only 20 bucks more, but comes with a 50 buck attachment. So its like a 30 dollar discount that comes with a cool custom paint job, plus supports you.
It would be great to see a comparison of the Infinity and the Evolution so we can really see the pros and cons of each! I'm decent with an airbrush, but don't know if it's worth nearly twice as much for me to invest in the Infinity
Hey man, the evolution is the every mans workhorse! Its probably the best airbrush for airbrushing armies, getting speed to your paint jobs and stuff. The infinity is designed for precision and fine detail. They have two different purposes. If its your first airbrush, get the evolution! If you're looking to get in to detail work, get the infinity as its the best precision tool1
A brush like the Infinity or Micron is PURELY for fine detail work. Unless you are planning to freehand eyeballs on minis. paint skin texture in photorealistic art or do sub .5mm strokes it won't make any difference to you compared to an Evolution. It's a tool designed for a purpose if you don't use it for that purpose you may as well be using any other tool. TBH if all you paint is minis even an Evolution is overkill unless you are hyper-elite with fine detail work.
Evolution with both needles - head up the head on the new Evolution is not titanium. Both are great airbrushes, but both will do the job. Same needles - so....
Yes, I would like to see the infinity evaluated for how it does basic everyday use cases like priming, base coating, etc. I just ordered an infinity but if it's only good for micro detail work, I will cancel my order. Although I could use my crappy starter amazon brush for those steps, why wouldn't I use the $350 investment for everything?
I still absolutely LOVE the Evolution CRplus one I bought last year with your design on it. Its such a gorgeous tool. Most cherished item in my painting setup.
got the Evo last year and now I've just brought the Infinity will use both in tandem, Evo for most of the work and Infinity for Details~ cant wait to use it!
Can you please do an in-depth comparison between the Giraldez Infinity and 2024 Infinity aside from the obvious nozzle, needle and cap combo improvements? What is it like when pushing down the trigger for air? Is the 2024 Infinity offers the same resistance as the Giramdez? Thank you
@@kramt32 hey man, the trigger's are adjustable, so you can have a softer feel if you prefer. When it comes to the airbrush, it's been completely redesigned. Not a single part is the same. The girsldez Infinity was two years ago probably the best h&s airbrush. But they've made a lot of changes since. :)
I had the Giraldez, it had an improved trigger but was still a bit sloppy compared the the Iwata style trigger. They claim this new verso6has completely fixed that. If I buy this it'll be my 3rd Infinity... 😂
Awesome product, beautiful design, I'm so jealous man congratulations, just purchased the Evo 2024, but already craving the Squidmar edition of INF 2024 the f-ing thing is absolutely gorgeous
Well I just went down a rabbit hole, I started this video, paused and ordered a squidmar evolution… then finished it, did research for a day and have now cancelled my order and bought the squidmar infinity. Whoops! Having had such a great time on the ultra, I saw the Evo and thought it was the natural progression, but after seeing Warrick going into all of the setting and options with the infinity, I can just see how I can begin to use the infinity from a mid tier level and progress it slowly into a… let’s be honest, slightly above mid tier level. I’m really excited to try it out, I think that I’ll now use my ultra for big base coats or inks and then the infinity for the detail. I’ve probably overdone it, but it’s exciting and that’s all that matters right?!
Been eyeing the evolution for a while, I own a badger and Iawata Eclipse for 'everyday' use but damn, I feel like I spend more time cleaning clogged airbrushes than actually painting. I am sure a good portion is user error but damn, no matter how many tutorials I watch it doesn't seem to make a difference. Has legit impacted my hobbying because airbrushing has become a chore, rather than something I enjoy doing. Might be finally time to take the plunge and go for something higher end... see if I can finally shake the issues.
You ain't alone. I've got a 2024 ultra and I've gotten better with lower psi but man figuring out the ratios has been a pain. Just keep at it and like brush control with a hand brush... You'll get the feel
I have your Evolution from last year, but am sooo glad I hadn't pulled the trigger yet on the Infinity while I get used to airbrushing. I am going to buy the Squidmar edition as soon as I get my paycheque next week XD. These designs are soooooo beautiful, and the product itself is incredible. It may be a while before I use the Infinity for a project, but I want this one for when I do!
I notice the titanium come in 0.25 and 0.44 then the 0.28 and 0.45. Am curious as to the spray patten of the titanium 0.44 nozzle, is it going to operate similar to the 0.25 set up.
I have the first Squidmar airbrush and besides me dropping the larger nozzle and bending it, everything is working as intended and I love it. It was my first ever and I can see its sooo much better than random cheap ones.
Hey man, yes - it's been completely redesigned from the ground up - and the titanium nozzle is lit AF. With that said though, the giraldez infinity, used to be one of the absolute top airbrushes. And that has not changed. It's not like the giraldez got worse just because there's been an upgrade released :)
I just got back to painting hobby after 20 years of break and was wondering what air brush to get. Thanks for clearing that out for me. Gonna go for the infinity cuz don't want to have to upgrade down the line, just gotta save a bit more xD
I think for a beginner airbrusher an evolution will be really good as well. Like really really good, this airbrush is designed for detail work while the evolution is more like a speed machine designed for easy of use with high quality results :)
I love my H&S brushes. Ultra is great for beginners, and I use it a lot for batch painting. Evolution is what I’ve been using for smaller areas on models. I can’t wait to get the Infinity!
Are they going to be shipped as soon as they are ordered or there will be a waiting time for them to be produced ? There is info about that on the product's page.
I ordered a Squidmar airbrush + compressor + stand from H&S 3 weeks ago, order still listed as "Unfulfilled" nobody answering phone, no reply to my voicemail or email, should I be worried?
@@raky76 hey mate, super sorry about the experience. There's no reason to worry. Just the staff being overwhelmed with your guys support. If you need any help send me an email on our website
I am curious about the current infinity crplus 2024 vs squidmar here. Is it squidmar is just color addons, back tail , and extra pressure control. Any other differences between these two?
What are the major differences between your version and the standard 2024 infinity? The fine pressure control valve and fancier looking artwork on the body?
The difference is just that you get two needles and nozzles in 2 in one. So one finer and one larger needle for more batch work. You can upgrade later, usually you save a bit of money buying it as a bundle. The solo come with just one of the needles. With the squidmar infinity its the finer needle, and the evolution comes with the bigger for ease of use to be more like a workhorse machine!
Hey man, still amazing airbrush. But pretty much everything has been redesigned from the ground up for the better! So its gone from great to amazinger!
Will the Evolution and Infinity Squidmar versions be getting options for both 0.28 and 0.45 combo bundle or are they staying as solo with just the 0.45 nozzle needle?
@@squidlybits1985 Thanks for the response, unfortunately I can only seem to add the .44mm nozzle and cup set to the infinity, but I was more looking for the Evolution with the 0.28mm kit :(
I just love that Black-Glod-Red mix, but I guess for my needs the evo is what I need because I'm going for army painting. Do you know if there will be another black-gold edition for the evo soon?
Hello. If I don't misunderstood you this infinity is a limited Edition and will only be available vor 3 week's? So why it is still available by Harder & Steenbeck after 3 1/2 week's?
Hey man, the video was recorded earlier than when we released. The initial plan was 3 weeks, but we had a lot of requests to have it go over two salaries so they would be able to afford it. So the morning of the launch, we changed the dates to go a full month instead of 3 weeks.
Hey Squidmar, Longtime watcher, new sub and returning miniature enthusiast. I had a friend get me into warhammer (and back into doing models) and I'm looking at plunging into airbrushes. I think I want to go with a Harder & Steenbeck. I don't want to buy one and then turn around and need to buy a different one - I want to be able to practice and get really good at highlights and all kinds of small details - as well as using it for priming and all the general painting. I really like all of what I'm hearing from the Infinity 2024, except for the price tag. Would you recommend going with the Ultra 2024 or the Evolution 2024? Am I able to do small detaily bits and edge highlights/small details with these over the Infinity 2024? Hope to hear from you, or some other great people in the comments. Thanks!
Hey man, all three airbrushes are fantastic. The ultra is designed to be a beginner airbrush, so all the fuctionality is made to be easy for a beginner to use. While the evolution is more of a Speed freak. Made to be great for quick painting, changing colors, work good in all situations. The infinity is designed to be best at just the detail work. I would not get the infinity as a beginner. An evolution is a great middle ground choice if you've got budget for it. I still use the evolution for 95% of my stuff and the infinity mostly on detail work on display pieces.
@@squidlybits1985 Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. I'll probably go ahead and get the evolution then and keep working my way from there. Keep up making the awesome content! Your videos always bring me joy. :D
As much as I like having a Takumi Eclipse and a cheap royalmax jobbie I kinda want an ultra to see what the quality is like. If they start selling it with a titanium nozzle would be interesting to try out.
Pulled the trigger last night I’ve been holding off. I have the old Ultra and the Cult of paint Infinity. H&S are an amazing company with fantastic customer support. Even better that this Squidmar version comes with the air value installed!!
I am so torn, aside from it looking beautiful is it really that much better than an entry level airbrush? I've been using an Iwata Revolution CR, aside from it loving getting clogged after use (I am probably not blameless here, spraying through clean water it still gets stuck), its not a bad airbrush. I just wonder if this is really that much better or if its more of a name thing? Shipping for me is always a pain so if I do go this route I don't want to have to keep buying spares (being in the arse end of the world for hobbies sucks sometimes)
I have the previous version of the H&S Infinity CR Plus and it's amazing. You can tell it's extremely well made. The tolerances are super tight, which I feel gives more control than the more loosely fitted airbrushes I used before. That said the only other airbrushes I have used before I got my Infinity were super cheap airbrushes, so I don't really know how it compares to a mid-range airbrush like your Iwata Revolution. I bought my Infinity CR plus 2in1 with two sets of needle+nozzle and two differently sized cups for ~210€ and free shipping. I am happy with the product I received for the price I paid. It looks like the 2024 version had a fairly large increase in price and also comes with just one needle+nozzle set. If I am not mistaken the 2in1 version of the 2024 Infinity is ~350€. It is really expensive and replacement parts for it are also quite expensive. I only use my Infinity for detail work and keep using my cheap airbrush for tasks where precision is not as important. If you can afford it and you want to treat yourself to a great hobby tool then I recommend it. If ~300€ + shipping is a lot of money to you I would consider staying with your current airbrush.
@@mackpackable Ye, its around 300€ for the 2in1 set. Not un-affordable but I also don't want to waste money (and as you said, it is an expensive airbrush). Its more the question does it actually perform better?
@@MethiasZa Hey Buddy... thought I would get in and reply here as I have kind of a soft spot for the Revolution CR! I really like how soft it sprays at low pressure despite having a pretty large 0.5mm nozzle. Actually the performance of this airbrush is really cool at pressures less than 1bar, as it can lay down some really interesting textures with good control. I used to use it a lot when I painted for money back in the day, when I needed to render rocky textures etc... I actually had it in mind when I designed the 0.44mm Titanium set-up for this Infinity. Whilst keeping all the things you'd expect from a H&S 0.44mm size set-up (great detail, soft atomisation, good background spray etc) I also wanted to make the 0.44mm Titanium capable of taking that texture thing to a whole different level. It's so cool. Around 7-8psi it will spray dots! But the trigger still functions as a proportional control, so you can make tiny lines of dots, or tiny areas of dots with total control. A little more air pressure, smaller dots, a little less gives larger dots, all whilst maintaining proportional trigger control. Normally when you want texture you have to do all sort of crazy stuff like trigger flicking and so on, none of which is predictable. And for the 0.25mm that it comes with, it's super super fine, but super super practical and REALLY robust. It's really the best we've ever done, by a massive margin, even when compared to the previous Infinity. As you can tell, I paint and I also really enjoy painting with everyone else's stuff too, and have done constantly over the years. I'm confident you'll love it. The Revolution CR is also a good airbrush, so whichever way you decide to go, you're in good hands to do some great airbrush work. Warrick @ H&S
@@harderairbrush Thanks for the reply, some great insights into what the expectation for the airbrush can be. Do you guys have some support staff that can assist me with checking who you ship with, local postal services here are pretty much guaranteed to steal the packages so we can't use them for anything.
I have the 2024 Evolution and I love the ease of cleaning. But I will hold off the Infinity in case there are issues to work out, as with any new design/materials
Hey buddy... keep an eye on our channel. We have a number of videos coming out soon which show artists using it, and commenting on it. I'm sure other content creators will soon create their reviews on it too. We've been working on the Titanium material for around 2 years now. I can assure you that we've worked out all the issues with the new material. If you haven't worked out your issues with Titanium, then it just breaks every tool on the machine before you ever get a part ;-) So don't worry, buy with confidence. This one is very well beta tested by incredible painters, and it's been a long time in development. We're ready :-) W
Thanks for the reply. I may get one of these but had such a bad experience with the ultra 2024 with it clogging every 10 secs so ended up switching back to cheaper alternatives.
Hey buddy - nope. The front body on this one is brass as per the original, with an aluminium rear end, and of course the Titanium nozzle at the front :-) W
Very tempting! I bought the Squidmar evolution a couple years ago and it's a great brush. I have a couple Badger that are my workhorse brushes, but the comfort of those can not compare to the H&S for long sessions of painting!
Will you announce the winner of the golden version of the 2024 Squidmar Infinity Airbrush? Also just ordered the airbrush and Wet Pallet, because I personally love the push for cheaper competitors in this industry. On a side note, you and Lukas are my favorite painters of all time, and seeing how fast both of you progressed in your painting journeys has inspired me more times than i can remember to push myself in practice. Thank you for the countless tutorials and time committed to bringing forth quality content via your good taste in music and even better mini REVEALS. I would've never started this hobby if not for your gorgeous works of art, and I wish you both the best in the Golden Demon attempts.
Hey man! I’m kinda new into the hobby and I really like the Infinity from what I saw, but I would like to have a really polyvalent airbrush, with fast and large coverage for primer and base coat and fine details when I need it, could it be the infinity with the extra 5ml and .44 nozzle? :) Also I’m in love with the design! :)
They are designed to be easier to use. To have triggers adjusted for ease of use instead of super sensitivity. All airbrushes are fantastic though and especially if you get the big needle nozzle kit as a beginner you can still enjoy the infinity, even if it's a bit overkill :)
@@squidlybits1985 ok! Thanks. I am a (very novice) miniature painter. I am going to purchase an airbrush soon. Most likely an Harder & Steenback. My budget is not a problem. What would you recommend? Cheers!
Iwata is also screwed in another way. There's a LOT of clones now in the Chinesium section, and some, like XDovet are actually made in the same factory, same components and have components borrowed directly from Iwata production line. And cost a tenner. You can get 3, and even with QC being what we know it is, you will get a really well made unit and spares to boot.
@@ShipWreck68 On the same side, I've seen enough substandard Iwatas as well - but, Iwata is one company, and you have about 8 different factories, 17 different companies that do Chineesium clones and every single one is a bit different. Where they usually fail is the trigger, it seems they throw a random one to an otherwise decent build and mess it up. Also, if you "seen a lot" then most likely you've seen Fengdas and its further clones, or cheap fused aluminium ones (very lightweight) and yes they are crap, I'm not talking about those, but ones they started copying this year making it unlikely you've seen "a lot of them", because they are a new wave, that was my point that you've also missed.
@@AbsolutelyNormalSubclinical Son, ive been airbrush before you were even a twinkle in your momma'a eye. In fact I've probably forgotten more about airbrushing than you'll ever know. "17 different companies"....? Dude you don't know squat about what you are talking about.
@@ShipWreck68 You're one step away from a copy/pasta meme. Were you in SAS as well? "Son" I import this garbage, so I kind of know the number of worthwhile suppliers. Guessing by "68" You have about a decade advantage over me, a bit pretentious to be throwing weight based on the stage of your arthritis and prostate size (especially that 10 years ago you didn't sound 50 at all, maybe you just have a young voice) - so I'll help you and will make you feel younger again, here it goes! Grow up!
Iwata is not screwed at all, they OWN H&S, or at least Anest Iwata their parent company does. Iwata are a "middleman" for brush parts and always have been they don't own the factory most of their parts are made it, there is no Iwata "production line". They are ecstatic for H&S them to succeed and don't have a problem with other companies selling cheaper similar brushes. Airbrushes aren't even the main business Anest Iwata does.
Got the "squevo" and really love it. The precision in the trigger and the quality of life changes for better cleaning make airbrushing so much more fun than with my old sparmax. Maybe I'll regret it but I think 300 bucks for a upgrade in painting details is too much. But I wish everyone who buys it a lot of fun with it. These things are really fun to use and the quality is outstanding.😊 (Yeah im biased, cuz I'm german😅)
The evolution is fantastic! You will be able to use it for years to come! The infinity is really more for detail work and super precision work. So if thats not your main goal, you'll be perfectly fine with an evo and a sparmax as backup! :)
Did anyone receive a shipping confirmation yet? When asking at H&S they just say “it will be shipped in a few days” 😔 and that since the beginning of last week…
Hey man, they have started shipping! So you should be coming up soon! Right now about 100 per day go out the door. You can send me an email if you need more information!
I'm sorry but I need to recommend Mr Hobby Creos line (it's a japanese brand, not chinese), and the PS-771 is basically the Iwata Custom Micron for way less money (same factory and pieces, you can even use parts from one into the other). Just my 2 cents.
I think the information on the airbrush and history is quite good in this video. Also that you mention that for beginners the cheaper ones would suffice. I'd argue that for 90%+ in the hobby they'd suffice. Nonetheless, if you have the money and would like a higher quality. By all means go for it. People commenting on this vid that it's an ad are also not wrong. Because it is which in itself is perfectly fine. There is a personal stake and bias but then again you'd not attach your brand to something you don't stand behind. And of course the quality is there. The possible issue lies, why people probably comment on it being an ad, given the channels influence. There is a certain expectation on integrity, morals and objective information. People of course are responsible themselves for doing proper research before buying something. But the influence a channel or video as this has should not be neglected. To that degree it might have been better to promote it even more obvious as an ad then the subtle way how it was done now. Or alternatively have an unaffiliated channel do an in depth technical comparison or review. Regardless, good luck with the campaign.
Oops, I thought for sure there wouldn't be a squidmar version for a few months yet, so I went ahead and bought direct.. My loss. Well, they haven't mailed mine yet, maybe I can change it.
Squidmar, I am sure you use different nozzle/needle sizes...but what is your default? You seem to do mostly basing so I was assuming .4, but figured I would ask. Love the channel and love these new brushes.
@MrRadialdrift because a $300 iwata does the job. I can't see how an extra $200 would improve my quality of painting, or my quality of time. I've had my iwata for 3 years, and haven't had to replace anything in it. I look after my tools.
@@Meglin1461 So H&S is expensive and Iawata's are sturdy airbrushes? You haven't used your Iawata or any airbrush and thats why its still brandnew I suspect. Good luck with your €10,- hr life.
@PanzerChicken69 brand new? Nah. I've been painting for a decade, mate haha. If you can't get decent results in anything except a $500 airbrush, then I don't think the airbrush is the problem
hi i've seen the new infinity 2024 squidmar edition and i wanna know if like with the evolution they will release a limited edition like all black or a blue instead of red back or if in future will release custom backs in other colors
Oh boy it looks amazing, I like the desing, but I'm also struggle a little bit what to choose, maybe you can help. - I do have a old evolution - The old evo is very inconsistent and I do not feel confident to do detail work later on like reforce shadows later on -> I look for a airbrush for sure the daily job and easy to clean, but most that I'm not afraid to reforce shadows, spray highlights and OSL or blend color gradiance together. Is this more the new infinity or is new evo fine enought? (I'm still a normal hobby painter) Best regards
Hey man, can you get the army work done with the evo still? If you can I'd get the infinity for detail work and use both. If the evo is beyond saving I'd probably get the Evo 2024. It's s big lift from the old evolution and Despite the fact it's designed like the workhorse speed machine, the control is still amazing.

Hey man, super sorry about that! With the massive response to the campaign, the customer support and the shipping guys have been totally slammed. Send me an email and i'll do my best to find your order!
I haven't used the new infinity yet but based on my 40yr use of airbrushes I can say the following: I sold my micron the day I bought my infinity. The trigger response can easily be enhanced by adding one or two washers and the endless frustration of cleaning iawata products doesn't justify it's 0,5% better spraypattern and triggerresponse. I also don't like the iawata prices. H&S can keep the price of the new infinity down by producing an airbrush, witch is essentially marketed to people who will never learn how to use an airbrush (the ultra).
When its quite literally half the price of the nearest performance competitors product... its a steal. and can be slashed to $250 if you know you only need the 0.25 nozzle. (solo vs 2in1 models) :)
@@robknight87 what's an example of a "nearest performance competitor"? Also why is this worth the price compared to even the lower HS models? Like, I'm not trying to diss this (I have the Squid 2024 ultra and love it) and y'all gotta make that bank, but what's the real selling point besides the marketing money?
This tool looks just lovely. I would love to have one, I just can't justice the price for myself. Mostly because I don't do all that mutch airbrush painting. Once a month or a couple, after I finally put together another combat patrol / kill team box, I use a cheap 25Euro one to put base colors on them, before I do detail with brushes, as my cheap one is not too good for the fine detail. But I bet I would like doing details with one like that mutch more... Mayby one day, when my grey army will grow enought xD
I have the older ultra model (not 2024) and I'm a bit dissapointed in the trigger response, I have to sometimes pull back more or less for paint and it seems inconsistant. I've heard other people also complain about this for H&S airbrushes while praising Iwatas. Is the trigger response on the new brushes better and more consistent now? Is it significantly better if yes? Because I don't like the response on the Ultra I wanted to buy an Iwata HP-B plus with a .2mm nozzle at about 230€. I would maybe go fot this now but only if its trigger response is not even a bit worse then the Iwata.
Hey man, yes it's a massive difference. The original ultra was designed something like 20 years ago and was their entry level model. The infinity now is not even on the same playing field. I recommend you to listen to some more artists using the new versions - I'm certain you will be pleased with what people say. On the official h&s UA-cam channel there are few videos with early reactions to it. If you're able to test one yourself, even better!
Thanks for asking this question. When we started the project of redesigning the range, the absolutely first task for us was to have a comprehensive solution to the trigger issue that you mention. I agree with your description. And so I can tell you with confidence that all the 2024 models have excellent trigger responses. The Ultra, Evo and Infinity triggers have different feels, but ALL are 100% engaged from the very first movement. Hope that helps! W
I'm sold, not for the infinity but I got the evolution Squidmar edition just so I can support you guys a little bit from all the content I've watched over the past year or so for free :)
The evolution is the workhorse airbrush, built for speed and easy of use but still able to do most detail work. The Infinity is literally designed to be best at two things, detail work and control. So if you're looking to do more detail work, the infinity will be insane. If you're looking for an airbrush thats the best for armies, the evolution is for you!
@@squidlybits1985 yeah I’m not much into armies I buy minis that I like the look of and paint the resell them/save some I really like. So might pull the trigger on infinity then since I’m leaning more to detailed work and improving high end painting. Thanks for the input!
I just bought the old Infinty CR plus not to long ago, I guess that explains why they were on sale at almost 40% off their usual cost. Oh well, I am not nearly talented enough to extract the full potential of any airbrush tbqh, but I admit H&S airbrushes are very nice airbrushes.

Although I could use my crappy starter amazon brush for those steps, why wouldn't I use the $350 investment for everything?
I still absolutely LOVE the Evolution CRplus one I bought last year with your design on it. Its such a gorgeous tool. Most cherished item in my painting setup.
got the Evo last year and now I've just brought the Infinity
will use both in tandem, Evo for most of the work and Infinity for Details~ cant wait to use it!
Does the Squidmar one have the locking twist dial that has Prime, base, 1,2,3?
Exciting man! When you find the time to start using it, your gonna love it
Mines been ordered. I cried a bit at checkout, but others in the store are already jelly.
Same impulsive purchase , looking fwd to its arrival.
Can these also be used to paint models, and even shoes?
Yes
I notice the titanium come in 0.25 and 0.44 then the 0.28 and 0.45. Am curious as to the spray patten of the
titanium 0.44 nozzle, is it going to operate similar to the 0.25 set up.
I have the first Squidmar airbrush and besides me dropping the larger nozzle and bending it, everything is working as intended and I love it. It was my first ever and I can see its sooo much better than random cheap ones.
Any chance for this model to be out to sell again??
We might do another version of the infinity - but I don't think in 2025

I started learning Airbrush with the H&S Ultra. It was affordable and I love the 'training wheels' function while I learn the basics of control.
Own both ‘24 Evolution Black Edition and a Iwata CM-C Plus, but that Squidmar ‘24 Infinity looks very nice and tempting
Can this be used for cocoa butter?
If you own a Giraldez Infinity - is there any good argument to switch except the style and the aircontrolle?
Hey man, yes - it's been completely redesigned from the ground up - and the titanium nozzle is lit AF. With that said though, the giraldez infinity, used to be one of the absolute top airbrushes. And that has not changed. It's not like the giraldez got worse just because there's been an upgrade released :)
Wish all of them came with fpc, missed out on this :/ do they sell them separately!? Or any recommendations of where to grab one?
I just got back to painting hobby after 20 years of break and was wondering what air brush to get. Thanks for clearing that out for me. Gonna go for the infinity cuz don't want to have to upgrade down the line, just gotta save a bit more xD
I think for a beginner airbrusher an evolution will be really good as well. Like really really good, this airbrush is designed for detail work while the evolution is more like a speed machine designed for easy of use with high quality results :)
one question i have is ,trigger response, i sold my old one because the response i had to pull way back before paint...is this new one more instant
Is the ultra worth consideration?
I love my H&S brushes. Ultra is great for beginners, and I use it a lot for batch painting. Evolution is what I’ve been using for smaller areas on models. I can’t wait to get the Infinity!
For completely beginner. Would be ultra enough to learn and also improve skills and enjoy better painting?
For a complete beginner, get a badger patriot 105 for $60 and be set.
Are they going to be shipped as soon as they are ordered or there will be a waiting time for them to be produced ? There is info about that on the product's page.
Paint sets and wet palettes are shipped instantly. Airbrushes are made as they are ordered. Up to a two weeks wait:)

I am curious about the current infinity crplus 2024 vs squidmar here. Is it squidmar is just color addons, back tail , and extra pressure control.
Any other differences between these two?
Do you have any idea when these will ship? Bought mine 5 days ago and still haven’t gotten a shipping notification.
how to get and whhere i buy thise airbrush
Explain the exclusive nozzles etc.
Infinity NOW uses different parts so it's not compatible with other H&S 2024 models correct?
What are the major differences between your version and the standard 2024 infinity? The fine pressure control valve and fancier looking artwork on the body?
Yeah :)
I just bought the ultra yesterday. Excited to start my airbrush journey
what is the difference between the solo and 2in1 and can you upgrade the solo to a 2in1 later?
The difference is just that you get two needles and nozzles in 2 in one. So one finer and one larger needle for more batch work. You can upgrade later, usually you save a bit of money buying it as a bundle. The solo come with just one of the needles. With the squidmar infinity its the finer needle, and the evolution comes with the bigger for ease of use to be more like a workhorse machine!
I swore I wouldn't buy anymore airbrushes...ok, one more then I'll stop.
Don't stop John! :-) W
I have an old infinity cr plus I bought in 2017. How would this compare to this?
Hey man, still amazing airbrush. But pretty much everything has been redesigned from the ground up for the better! So its gone from great to amazinger!
Kan ni snälla göra en short på hur man använder "varnish" genom en airbrush? Vad man bör tänka på och hur man bör rengöra den efteråt
was your airbrush a pre or early production unit? i ask only because the laser engraving looks to have missed several lines.
Yeah man, its an early production copy so we could get to proper testing and make decisions regarding design and color choices :)
As of Nov 17 your squidmar infinity is sold out, I’m hoping you’ll sell it again. I didn’t get to buy one.
Will the Evolution and Infinity Squidmar versions be getting options for both 0.28 and 0.45 combo bundle or are they staying as solo with just the 0.45 nozzle needle?
Hey man, you can add the extra needle/nozzle packages for both airbrushes! :)
Are they going to make those titanium nozzles for the infinity cr+?
I would buy a set of all of them
With that type of nozzle can you backflow clean it? It looks like the new guard does not allow for it.
Hey man, that has nothing to do with the nozzle, if you can block the air flow in the front - you can backfflow. With the front end - you can :)
You can simply loosen the aircap half a turn to backflush.
I think you'll be super stoked if you like the old ones mate! :D
@@MethiasZa Hey buddy - likely Fedex. Does that work?

I'm sure other content creators will soon create their reviews on it too. We've been working on the Titanium material for around 2 years now. Thanks for the reply. I may get one of these but had such a bad experience with the ultra 2024 with it clogging every 10 secs so ended up switching back to cheaper alternatives.
Loved my H&S basic ultra brush as it helped me learn a lot :).
I have two infinities and I never use them over my iwata, which just never needs a deep clean, whereas my infinities clog relentlessly.
A question, is the Squidmar Infinity's front body made by AL light weight ? or just like metal part as origin infinity, I love the heavy feel then...
Hey buddy - nope. The front body on this one is brass as per the original, with an aluminium rear end, and of course the Titanium nozzle at the front :-) W

Hey man! I’m kinda new into the hobby and I really like the Infinity from what I saw, but I would like to have a really polyvalent airbrush, with fast and large coverage for primer and base coat and fine details when I need it, could it be the infinity with the extra 5ml and .44 nozzle? :)
Also I’m in love with the design! :)
Why would you recomend the ultra, or evolution, istead of the infinity, for a beginner???
Is it just the price? Or is the infinity harder to use?
Not true. Those chinese versions are crap. Ive seen enough of them already to make that judgment.

Can I upgrade the parts on my Squidmar HS brush I bought just 6 months ago?
Hey man, you can upgrade some of the parts yes! :)

Just purchased! Cannot wait!
Is the infinity a double action?
Yes
The link for Squidmar’s equipment seems to be broken for me.
I would recommend Mr hobby airbrushes as your main workhorse brushes

Huh? How is $500 expensive for a tool you use everyday? You must be getting paid $10 per hour if you think $500 is a lot of money for a quality tool.
@MrRadialdrift because a $300 iwata does the job. I can't see how an extra $200 would improve my quality of painting, or my quality of time. I've had my iwata for 3 years, and haven't had to replace anything in it. I look after my tools.

Ordered mine and the paint sets. I also have a £700 custom micron and the old cr2 plus. Looking forward to see how it performs.

@@squidlybits1985 oh nice, thanks for the reply! Can‘t wait to have it here 🤩
@hirschhugo5742 I belive thay start shipping this week
I love HS stuff, but that $300 price tag is...oof. i know its worth it but....
@buffalufacus the closest competition to the 2024 Infinity is the Iwata Custom Micron series, which retails at around $580- $700 depending on vendor.
Any airbrush is better than no airbrush! I'm sure there will be other cool alternatives when you're ready for an upgrade!
@@harderairbrush Alright, I think you got me but I'll hold you to it.
I'm sold, not for the infinity but I got the evolution Squidmar edition just so I can support you guys a little bit from all the content I've watched over the past year or so for free :)
Appreciate it man! I think you will LOVE the airbrush!
3rd Squidmar/H&S airbrush here I come!!!! XD
I’m eyeing the evolution, what’s the biggest diff between infinity and evolution series?
The evolution is the workhorse airbrush, built for speed and easy of use but still able to do most detail work. The Infinity is literally designed to be best at two things, detail work and control. So if you're looking to do more detail work, the infinity will be insane. If you're looking for an airbrush thats the best for armies, the evolution is for you!
@@squidlybits1985 yeah I’m not much into armies I buy minis that I like the look of and paint the resell them/save some I really like. So might pull the trigger on infinity then since I’m leaning more to detailed work and improving high end painting. Thanks for the input!
Since you talk so much about airbrushes, how about making a guide on cleaning an airbrush? I've been struggling with getting it properly clean.
We've got a video called "ultimate guide to airbrushing" - that ones great for that
Sold me on it in 3 minutes!
@@gunplaf the airbrush will be amazing for you
Dude! We miss you in the gunpla space. You put a lot of effort into your videos. Hope all is well and good luck to you in the future.
Ordered mine when I saw the video released 🎉
God dammit, I just bought the new Ultra and thought "the Squidmar variant for the Infinity 2024 won't be here right away so I can get more experience and save money in the meantime".
Never been so wrong.
