Great demo, There is something going on the the beach programs compared to the other ones. I have been hunting in beach sens, that I did some mods to and have been getting great results in high iron and trashy site. I hope an update is coming that will somehow use discrimination and signal strength. Like your test the trash would hit harder but the merc would come in because it is still seen. Almost like a 2d discrimination. I am a small channel so I have not had much luck with XP and trying to explain this. Averaging all the time might not be the way to go.
The update I am sure will change a lot of things. Hopefully it brings the changes you want. The averaging thing might seem appealing but you wouldn’t want it the other way tho. D2 will get better very soon ! 👍😊🎉

I tried this experiment yesterday but I couldn’t hear anything that suspicious to make me switch over to fast to check it. It worked as you showed but if I did that on every aluminum target I would be there all day. Any tips to recognizing the tone of a masked target other than hours of practice and hunting? Thanks

The iron falsing thing is always going to be an issue. As it plagues almost all machines. I do hope the update will give us some things tho to help alleviate the falsing. They probably can’t get rid of it all but hopefully gives up a little better chance with some settings adjustments👍

Are those numbers the same if you raise the coil simulating a more realistic depth?
For the most part yes. Now at extreme depth you would see some changes but dive is a really deep program and does very well with ID 👍
Boy if Xperia would improve that screen it would be darn near perfect, minelab has best screen. Maybe next machine will, now teach that has nothing to do with performance, but by golly it’s easier to see and navigate, oh when is manticore coming out in the summer, lol my god people going to loose interest, poor marketing they call it what they want be you understand, thanks
