It's so important to have a referral. That is really the way into jobs these days. Good luck!

Congratulations to you on getting into a It Career. You will probably always have a job. Networking is absolutely the way to go these days, and having a hand-off from a friend really helps a lot.

HI Rochelle I have been trying to land a business analyst or product analyst role. But the problem I am having is that some of the BA JOBS want you to have a programming background. I know some sql but im not an expert. It seems like a business analyst at one company can mean something totally different at another company

@@CONTROLFIRE9 Thanks for sharing! I totally agree! I have noticed the variety of skills companies are looking for in a BA job. I also have shifted into learning more programming because this skill suits the culture of my team.
If you haven’t already , check out consulting companies, because a lot of them train you in that skill/software on the job. Especially if you have a solid base in the core skills/ soft skills. Also, create mock projects via sql to help advance skills. You got this!

@@faithfamilyfitness2290 I'm familiar with the big 4 then companies like Boston Consulting group and Booz Allen. If you have any companies to recommend, I'm all ears. I'm in Minnesota but am trying to relocate back east to be near family. Top choices are the DMV, Raleigh, maybe Philly.
