    Actually, while many appliances can draw more power over here in Europe, the American Miele vacuums have a higher wattage. Miele US list their vacuums at 1,200 watts, while our bagged ones range from 550 to 890 Watts (the max allowed for a vacuum). Miele Australia still have 2,000 Watt ones.

    I gave my dad my Miele Uniq years ago and got a Sebo E3 Premium. The only things I don't like about the Sebo are it doesn't make carpet lines, the power head seems like it's not close enough to the carpet on the closest setting, and the hose likes to bend at times.

    I was suprised at first that I didn't see the sebo canisters d4/e3 on here but yet then again it doesn't suprise me because when I was at the vac shop and tried the hose end of the sebo canisters, I was dissapointed to find that the suction even all the way up just wasn't as strong as the Henry's.. and this video proves it.. but despite that I still think Sebo's are solid machines

    I think Sebo is the best brand available here with Miele a close second. Henry is also good, I have the 200 model, the big problem with Henry is they don't have a way to connect an electric power nozzle, although with battery power nozzles now available, that is much easier. I absolutely love central vacuums, I have a bunch of them throughout my apartment and I use them all without pipes. Try connecting a 240 volt dual motor central vacuum directly to a hose with no pipes, the power is amazing.

    I got a zeroG a few years ago and I'm not sure how it stacks up to these, but I suspect it's comparable to them. I reaaly really like mine, other than the fact that the coed doesn't automatically wind, but that's not a deal breaker to me.

    I'm looking at moving to just one vacuum for all purposes. How would a Dewalt Stealthsonic 9 gallon/5 HP DXV09P and a 12 gallon/5.5 HP DXV12P (both with bags for dry) fair as a multi-purpose vacuum as opposed to separate purpose units? For interior I would be using a 2 1/2" to 1 1/4" adapter to 1 1/4" hose along with one of the central vacuum air turbo brushroll heads.

    So I have two very large dogs, one Great Pyrenees and a Shepard Collie they have a ton of hair, so I really need something easy to push on heavy thick carpet that will also pick up the dogs hair that is bag less as one vacuum in my home I dump a huge container 3 times
    . I have had a shark for years and I love the shark, but I'm finding it really hard to push on my thick carpet. Can you lead me in the right direction . Please Please.

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  7 місяців тому +2

      CFM testing to be done properly requires A rather elaborate hot wire set up. "Working vacuum" is a good balance of air flow and sealed suction. This is the professional standard that's used when testing vacuums.

    Is there any risk of clogging a central vacuum and having to deconstruct all the lines to find where the clog is?

    • @vacuumarsenal
      @vacuumarsenal 7 місяців тому +3

      If the piping is installed correctly a clog should be nearly impossible.

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  7 місяців тому +2

      No because when they're installed properly the only place they could have a clog would be at the end of the hose. The hose is typically 1 1/4" and the pipe is "2
