- Irf and I went decided to thrift on a Sunday because I had a 35% off coupon to spend at Goodwill. We picked the Akron Goodwill and decided to dig in the Outlet "Bins" before shopping on the Retail side where I can spend my coupon. We didn't expect much, but we found BOLOS! Come see what we found! I share all the information about what I've picked, how much I've spent, and how much I think I will make on any piece I sell on eBay, in one of my booths, or in a live sale here on UA-cam!

I find things at estate sales and auctions, charity shops, and thrift stores, and even pluck treasures from Goodwill bins and street curbs as they are headed towards the landfill.
Your purchases help fund more unique and antique treasure rescues and you give these treasures a new life in a new home.
Buying rescued treasures helps the planet! If we could all stop buying new things from the big box stores and start treasuring the beautiful things that already exist, we could lessen our personal impact on the planet. That is what YoSoBoHo is all about!

Hi Amy, the stones are tiger`s eye when yellow, ocker and brown tones and flacon`s eye when blueish grey. I played with mine as a kid since they looked so interesting.

Loved that creamer and Sugar from Sweden, I usually pick up anything from there, Norway or Denmark. Seem to do well with the MCM stuff from those countries. Looks like You and Irf had a great time.

My mom loves to thrift too, and yes, she appreciates that I’m out there looking around with her in mind. I have a list of so many things to look out for! You had a great shopping trip. The angel was a special find for sure! I love finding Swedish pieces. I recently sold two Rorstrand red and white striped cups that I found while thrifting. And, that bottle of stones ... my 14 yrs old granddaughter makes some really cool jewelry pieces with wire and stones. Have you determined a price for those?

Amy, that is a Dr. Who (4th Dr,) Scarf. back IN THE 1980'S oops sorry my caplock came on. Tom Backer was very popular so people made scarves like that. Now I'm not 100% sure of course that is why this person knit this but It just reminds me of his scarf,
I looked up the Dr Who scarves, they do look similar, but I'm not sure. This one is definitely long like his! This one has also been claimed, so I'm excited for the new owner! 🌈
