One of my brothers (10 years older than me) got a culinary arts degree and was trained by a Cordon Bleu chef. He decorated all my birthday cakes growing up from age seven to seventeen. That Rae Dunn Magenta mug is a nice find. Oh I'm so glad you found a fishbowl stand. I have a Buddha lamp that I found on the trash. It is plastic and the lamp guts were toast so I scrapped them and now my Buddha is hanging out on my scrapping workbench. I smile everytime walk by.
How cool is that! I’d love to have a chef in the family! 👨🍳 The Buddha pile is growing as is so cool! I totally want to switch things up in our Boho booth we and this stuff will bring a great vibe!
I adore kitchen miniatures. I have some that I've collected. They remind me of my childhood. I think they're collectible. I have some plastic tea sets from the early '60s that I once had as a kid.
She has such good taste and her office is decked out, Deb! That fiber glass shade was too awesome and in such perfect condition! I debated keeping it myself. 😍
Ohhhh… I would have been at the book bin all day. I saw several kids books I would have grabbed! I am forever buying books for my teacher friends classrooms. & I saw that child’s handmade Christmas card 💔 I would have grabbed that too. Just so it didn’t get thrown out. I am such a sucker… you find great things. I love it!
I’ve had days where I get stacks of books, but most times, I’ll grab a book or two. I used to have books and more books everywhere, but I scaled way back and I try to keep that urge at bay. Lol
Another great video with terrific finds! Love your philosophy on saving these treasures; I feel the same and thrift shop for my home and my clothes too. You are a joy to watch. I’m still watching all your old videos 😀 I love your style and the format of the videos. Keep up the good work. ❣️
Thanks, Sherri! 🥰 What amazing feedback. I really appreciate that! I wish we could excite even more people to but second hand whether they do it themselves or through resellers. There’s too many things already here on the planet that we can use. 💕
Wow! Love everything! The tree, minatures, books and blanket. I wish I lived closer to visit your booth. Great haul of treasures. To top it off the lady who was picking up the books🤣. Entertaining!
She really didn’t care about the rules, did she! 😂 haha! If you ever see anything in my videos that you’d really like to have, just email me. (amy@yosoboho.com) Viewers get first dibs and a nice discount. 💕
Cool finds! Especially the Erica Wilson book. One of my friends was an editor for some of her books. She was quite a character. She lived in Nantucket so it wasn't a bad gig! She also had a show on PBS in the 70's that I watched religiously, even though I didn't do needlepoint. 🤣
Oh my gosh! Cool connection! My friend mentioned something about a show, but I didn’t know what she was talking about. I wonder if I can Google her and see some video? Fun! Thanks for the info!! 💕
I had an original big hug mug, from a get well soon bouquet years ago! My daughter came home from the thrift store a month or so ago, with one…she was so excited!
Oh my word, those bins are so organized! The only one I’ve ever been to is akin to dumpster diving!! 😂 My daughter loves those little mini things. Pretty collectible.
We are so lucky to have the “bins” that we have. I’ve seen a lot of other bins videos, so I know we are spoiled. They changed a lot of things during the pandemic, and they have maintained them. It’s great! Although I have to be super picky since everything is so cheap. We were just there yesterday with Carol form My Blessed Nest, and I just kept saying “I don’t need anything.” But I still filled a cart. 😂😭🤪
Hi Amy! This GW looks familiar! 🤩😄. I love the little Carlton tree! I have never seen the little food things either! Lots of fun! Happy Wednesday! ❤️❤️❤️
Hello friend!! 💕 🤔 It seems like were just there yesterday! 🤔😊 Another viewer commented that there is a Carlisle Gift shop in Walnut Creek. That’s probably where it came from.
Like everyone else I have to say another great haul! And your friend's office looks great with the items she got from you. So sweet she put your button in there! One request (if possible). When you go shopping with friends or family could we see their face for a few seconds before or after you do your shopping? We only ever see their feet or hands. lol And I don't know about anyone else, but I'd really love to see you and your sister do something together at home again. She seems so sweet. And I love the mini food items too. I think that's a female thing. Every female I know loves mini's, including me! 😊
Thank you! I will definitely ask if they would like to be on camera. I’m always careful with the lens, because I know personally I do not like to be “captured” without being somewhat prepared, and often times, we are on our feet for hours, sometimes digging through stuff and either exhausted at the end, or looking pretty disheveled. And there are certain people who I thrift with, like my mom, who absolutely do not want to be on camera. But I can ask. 🤗 I think you’re right! Do you think it goes back to being little and playing with dolls and dollhouses? I too love my minis! 🤗
Hi, Sheila! 💕 Right!? 🌙 🥱 lol Yes, I have many collections! Pottery, small pieces of crackle glass, Royal Bayreuth figural creamers, MCM glass, miniatures… and I’m sure there’s a couple more that I forgot. 😂 It’s fun to collect when you hunt and resell! Your collection is always evolving. 🤗
Hi, Amy! You mentioned that Christmas Tree had Carlisle’s sticker on bottom. Do you think that’s the Store in Walnut Creek or Sugar Creek Ohio? Great video!!❤️
Early in your video you had an AWSOME Christmas tree and I’m asking what you’d charge for shipping to 77493, Katy, TX. I have an adopted family and Zehra makes beautiful baked goods! Loved your haul!! Gotta check your eBay store, NOW!! 🥰👏🎉
Hi Amy... I had tried leaving you comment when I first watched this and somehow I must have deleted it before I could send it. So... here's the story. That cookbook journal by Jacques Pepin... all the artwork in its pages is his artwork. I have one of his latest cookbooks and the pages are full of exactly the same style work... and it's all his. Check into it. If you still have that book, I would love to inquire about it... and maybe make arrangements to purchase it? What a treasure trove and what a beautifully talented man. Let me know. Hugs, Penny Sue
Oh my gosh!! What a talent, for sure! Thank you for letting me know. The book sold shortly after the video aired. It was purchased for a daughter and it sounded like the perfect gift for her. I found several listed on eBay. Here is a link to one on eBAy. It is the lowest priced (but still brand new) if you want to order it! www.ebay.com/itm/283144089088?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=jEsTHc7nRQO&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=PZytNYeVSz-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@YOSOBOHO I'll look into this on ebay... but if you have any contact with the person you sold it to... it would be a cool thing to let them know about the artwork contained in its pages. If you sold it at the shops... probably not feasible ... but if sold through a venue of having contact with the buyer... please, let them know. I had owned my cook book by Mr. Pepin... and didn't realize until a bit later on that the artwork in its pages were actually his. Thus my reasoning behind wanting y'all to know. Hope someone somewhere is aware. Hugs, Penny Sue
You and me both, Mikki! It’s exhilarating to dig around and see what you can find, but after awhile the reality sets in and I always tell myself that I’m not leaving with more than 1 bag or 1 box… because I just can’t handle too much inventory. I try to tell everyone I know to go check it out. Maybe that has helped a little. 🤷🏻♀️
When I travel, I type “thrifting near me” into Google, and then if there are lots of choices, I look for the highest rated places to visit. That’s what I would recommend! ☺️
I still watch Jacque Pepin cook all of the time! Love him❤️

Awesome treasures as usual!! 🥰
Hi, friend! 💕 Thanks.
The gift from Tracy is beautiful and a perfect for your aesthetic! I coveted
...the green lamp when I watched you pick it up.

You make up the absolute best packages when shipping. It's one of the many reasons I love buying from you 😍
🥰 aww, thanks, Deb! 💕❤️💕❤️
Those are cute for someone who collects miniatures.🌞👍
They are so clever! We opened them all up to see all the little characters. Adorable! 🤗
I just love owls..soo cool& good luck.
Me too! I’m surprised I don’t have a collection! 🤔 lol
Hey Amy!! Oh I love the angel blanket! It looks so soft! The miniatures are so sweet! What a good score!! TFS Hugs!
Sooooo soft, Marg! 🤗 It was fun opening all those little minis to see the characters. I thought about sharing some more, but that might get boring. 😂

It's hard to see those Nippon pieces in the bins, really hope someone rescued those.
