Never know what was going on in her life, she might have been missing her kids, grandkids or just lonely because of the holidays. I would have done the same thing. My husband has a knack for drawing people like that to him (I swear it's magnetic, or something) no matter where we go. I'm not kidding. So I do a lot of looking around, staring at the floor, or sometimes I just wander off like an unsupervised child. When he is finished I'll ask "Who was that?" His response... "I have no idea". Hi, Kim! 🥰 Thank you!! Oh, I can easily spend 4 hours in a thrift store! This place is small, and I probably spent around an hour and a half that day. When my aunt and I go to the bigger Goodwills (like the one in Akron, near me) we can easily spend 1/2 the day (3-4 hours) on the retail side, go grab lunch and then come back and spend another 2-3 hours digging through the bins on the outlet side! It makes for an exhausting but totally fun day! The fact that we love to spend time thrifting (treasuring hunting) makes us kindred spirits! 🤗💕
Hi Pretty Amy! I've been kind of offline and taking it easy between Xmas and New Years, but I did go thrifting yesterday and pulled in a haul. Found me an aqua Dansk ball from the mid century for 4 bucks. Worth much more on the online shops. Now I use Google photo to look up pieces, so it makes it easy and fun. I cannot tell the difference between amateur pottery and really good mid-Century art pottery. I picked up a weird-looking large piece at a thrift shop, and still don't know much about it. The Carnival glass pieces are exquisite. I have a Carnival glass collection, but I can't do it any longer. My place is too full.

I’m really mean! I find that this person telling you her life story is preposterous. When people talk to me forever and ever, I start backing away from them so I can escape.
