Mr Bootguy, I watched your program for many years. I never get a chance to say thank you for your great shows as your assessments and reviews had helped me select many of my boots purchases. Thank you,

I'm 9-11, months in w the moc toes. They work well and are more durable than you'd expect for the price point. They absorb mink oil like none other. It's a long and tough break in, but once broken in, they are like a glove and gets better with each use. They take a beating greater than I'd expected. Don't hesitate to buy if you're on the fence with these, don't let the price point scare you away.

Moc toe never last for me.. the seam on the top always wears down and the stitching always starts to come apart

Best boot for the money...instant comfort and long lasting. Ii's a shame that Big Box stores don't carry this quality boot at Rockrooster's pricing points. Herman Survivor's for some reason just SUCK

I'm a welder mechanic....I do a lot of plasma cutting and torching...so i step in some slag....i have a pair of redbacks....love them...but they don't hold up in slag in the heavy equipment industry....plus I'm heavy like 260lbs and need a boot that holds up and these seem like my price range for the time being....would you reccomend? Rockrooster?

I did guy some rock Rooster recently. I also found they are now making Die hard boots. Anyway. I did find that I have to go with a half size smaller then I normally wear because I get blisters on my heel if I go to my size.

Sole pattern is identical to some of the Timberland Pro’s. If you like lined non-insulated soft toe check out the Red Wing #2156 Tru Welt Chukka. It’s a 6” boot so I’m not sure why they call it a chukka. Comes with a Poron insole and Made in USA. Never seen a review of the #2156 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why are yuppies overpraising traditional work boots? I understand the custom work boots like whites or nicks. But a traditional red wing or whatever is not that good compared to a carhartt hiker work boot or ariat pull on's or double h's.

as an ironworker, i move around the iron in heritage style boots (red wings 877 or thorogood moc toe) a lot faster, easier, and more comfortably than a bigger bulkier boot. especially for climbing columns.

Thanks for this vid. I recently uploaded an unboxing of a moc toe hawkins boot however I really wanted the yellow stripes shoe laces. Mine came with dark red orange. Do you have any ideas where to buy those kind/shade of shoe laces as seen in that moc toe?

They look too cheap and not very durable, I get some people cant afford good quality things, but its worth it spending an extra $50-$100 on quality boots. Both of these are probably $75 each. Not very good quality.

I like the looks of those boots so I ordered a pair of their style # AP611. - My experience was as follows ... They did arrive very quickly, in only 2 days. Quality was OK, looked good.
But I must RETURN these boots for REFUND. I have tried them on twice. They just do not fit me properly. They are much too TIGHT across the toes and ball of my foot, and the heel is much too WIDE, so they slip up and down on my heels no matter how tight I lace them. They're only available in one width = WIDE EEEE. The length (size 11-1/2) was OK. It seems strange to me that the toe is too narrow but heel is too wide. Only shoes/boots I have ever seen like that. I usually buy Wolverine boots with no fitting problems.

They are work boots. I have snakeskin boots. Those are boots that look nice when you are playing guitar on stage at a country and blues gig. The best way to describe a work boot is to say they look like they can and feel like they can take a beating all day everyday. Nice is for the country music stars and the blues musicians.

Hello great video I was pretty positive on getting the Diehard boots but now idk if I should get these? They seem better, I’m stuck between these, the diehards or the ever boots weldor, or does anyone else have any other suggestions. I would like to keep it under $100 thank you

@Doug Mooney I can get 9 months out of Ashby's. Irish setters aren't much better than diehards for longevity. Comfort most definitely. But with a price tag of 150 or so that won't make a year isn't that good. I don construction work on dirt and concrete surfaces. Idk what you do but all my coworkers also stopped the Irish setters and switched to Timberland pros.

Hi buddy I'm looking for a work boot waterproof that I can climb telephone poles with has to be a strong mid sole so it don't flex when I'm at the top of a pole for maybe 20mins.
I really like the side zips high boot military style boot.
    Ant suggestions please

I’m sorry, that boot is just plain ugly. That sole is hideous. These are “wannabe” boots. They are no Redwings or Thorogoods. I know they are half the price, but still. Everboots are way better then these.
