There is a 25 minute documentary on UA-cam with Guy Ritchie from a few months back where he rewatches Snatch for the first time in 15 years or so and he goes through a lot of his process back then as a film maker including the confidence he had making this film after the success of Lock Stock. It is definitely worth a watch to see how he drew his editing styles from westerns and such and his directing and writing styles.

Hey James glad you liked it. Lock Stock and two smoking barrels is an underrated Guy Ritchie film. Esp before he went to Hollywood and married madonna. Snatch is his best film in my opinion. Snatch is a classic. Glad you enjoyed it. For some reason, the camera angles and style remind me of an underrated film called "Three O'Clock High" (1987), which is a black comedy about a kid trying to get out of a fight after school.
Guy Ritchie's films are soo stylish. The soundtrack, the script, the editing, the clothes.. top notch filmmaker. He's very stylish irl too and there's a running joke that he changes his outfit every 6hrs on set. Lol
a classic for sure. the editing, use of music, acting and all of that was obviously quite unique at the time, then there's the comedic value, in part a universal one, but particularly those little details that i imagine mostly the brits are able to pick up, especially for those familiar with the 90's london 'scene' guy was a part of... the movie is like a nostalgic return to those awesome times

“Snatch was all the stories I couldn’t fit in Lock, Stock” - Guy Ritchie.
Imagine *that* movie!!
First time watching, great reaction to a great film.
“Did he shoot Tony?” The genuine concern for Tony in your voice here cracked me up
You definitely have to do Lock, Stock next (if you haven’t already), one of my favourite ever films
"You know: fish, chips, cup 'o tea, bad food, worse weather, Mary fucking Poppins... LONDON."
After 20 years it still gets me every time I hear it! 🤣🤣🤣
This film is exactly what growing up in South East London is like
Hey James glad you liked it. Lock Stock and two smoking barrels is an underrated Guy Ritchie film. Esp before he went to Hollywood and married madonna. Snatch is his best film in my opinion. Visuals, editing and characters.
FYI in modern lingo they are called "travellers."
although used in the movie "Pikey" is a derogotive term.
And yes Brad Pitt earned my respect for the traveller accent. He also does a great Jamaican one too!!!! (Meet Joe Black).
"Natural Born Killers", "True Romance" and "Killing Zoe" would definitely stimulate some great reviews!
True Romance was written by Quentin Tarantino.
@@pthor6265 Then almost disowned by Tarantino, then loved by Tarantino lol. Bloody amazing film.
Came here by way of Brandon Likes Movies and I'm not disappointed. I've been binging your reactions and really enjoying them. Keep up the good work my man.
this is a masterpiece! i wish they made movies like this!!!!
This might be one of the most natural, exciting, & authentic reaction videos to watch☝️
I always forget Lennie James is in this (Solomon) I'm so used to him being Morgan in The walking dead
I’ve been waiting for you (and other reactors) to discover this movie. Just knew you’d enjoy the editing. Like you said, so much style.
Man...this movie is just *chef’s kiss* 👌
Hahaha worthy for sure!
Its a pleasure to see an actual filmmaker analyse a film as it goes on
The 2nd time around, you should watch it with closed captioning, so you'll know what Mickey is saying.
Seriously one of the most genius comedic films of the 20th Century. Everybody nailed their roles.
That soundtrack my homies. You gotta get it the whole thing is clean.
"But youve got your parties mangled up." Its the best monologue in the movie.
Guy Ritchie said he regrets not making a trilogy of this. Imagine that ...my god
Snatch is a classic. Glad you enjoyed it.
For some reason, the camera angles and style remind me of an underrated film called "Three O'Clock High" (1987), which is a black comedy about a kid trying to get out of a fight after school.
Can't wait to see your Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels reaction 🤞
This movie and Lock Stock and two smoking Barrels are masterpieces ! !
as already mentioned ... Guy Ritchies best and funniest gangster comedy is: Lock, Stock and 2 smoking barrels
I think snatch is the better of the two
Yeah I like lock, stock and two smoking barrels more.
Guy Ritchie's films are soo stylish. The soundtrack, the script, the editing, the clothes.. top notch filmmaker. He's very stylish irl too and there's a running joke that he changes his outfit every 6hrs on set. Lol
I think for your next movie you should really watch Snatch... again.
😂😂😂
19:05 he's not dead because he's Boris the Bullet Dodger. It's what he does. He dodges bullets.
Lock stock and two smoking barrels is Ritchie’s best film IMO.
Yea one of my favorite movies of all time. So much to love from the screen writing to the editing to the amazing acting.
Please put Dead Mans Shoes in the patreon polls. One of the best british movies of all time❤️❤️❤️❤️
a classic for sure. the editing, use of music, acting and all of that was obviously quite unique at the time, then there's the comedic value, in part a universal one, but particularly those little details that i imagine mostly the brits are able to pick up, especially for those familiar with the 90's london 'scene' guy was a part of... the movie is like a nostalgic return to those awesome times
Lock, stock and two smoking barrels is even better
Watched it all the way through. It's quite a joy seeing somebody enjoy Snatch again.
D’ya like Dags?
Pitt pulling a page out of Del Toros book in Usual Suspects
Great pick dude
Thanks brotha!!
I love that in the call between Four-fingers and Avi that Frour-fingers has a different suit every time it cuts back to him.
