    This recipe worked well for waffles too! I wasn't going to head to the store just for waffle mix, so I looked for a UA-cam video and found this one. Absolutely delicious!

    Hello)tell me please, what can we replace an egg with to make pancakes vegan?)🌻🙃

      If you're into making your pancakes vegan, try using aquafaba instead of eggs. I actually made a video about it, you can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/mOis5zdPwc4/v-deo.html.

    Those pancakes I made them just the way it sys the recipe and they do not work. I made them I put some grease on the pan so they dont stick, at the end they did stick but they do not cook, the dough remains raw.

    Can anyone tell me how many pancakes this recipe makes?

    • @FoodHow
      @FoodHow  5 місяців тому

      You should be able to make approximately 6-8 medium size pancakes.

      Sure, there are quite a lot of options to substitute the egg with a vegan friendly alternative. Check out out these egg substitutes for pancakes: foodhow.com/egg-substitutes-for-pancakes/

    0:18 This isn't a big deal at all, and maybe it's pedantic, maybe I'm shamelessly using the opportunity to go off on a tangent, but I don't understand why people feel guilty for eating. Regret I do understand (too well) but there's no need for guilt, unless it's about having wasted food - that's valid. (Just avoid the sunk cost fallacy and don't feel bad about not finishing a meal.) Shame and guilt are not always the most useful way of regulating behaviour, particularly when it comes to compulsive things - especially on the more extreme end. It shouldn't be about guilt, it should be about making a long-term choice while taking care of one's immediate needs for nourishment and enjoyment, and ideally respecting the planet that grew the food if possible. Either way, I hope we all can be kind to ourselves and others in relation to this core part of life, food.

      I only feel guilty when I eat something that I know is harmful to my body. So I feel guilty about harming my body just so my mind can enjoy a little bit of pleasure.

    Sorry but these were a complete fail for me & they tasted awful. The mix to too thick so I added an extra 1/4 cup of milk. I made sure to heat the oil before adding the mix but they didnt cook all the way through & fell apart when I turned them over. That said I'm not the best of cooks...

      It sounds frustrating that your pancakes didn’t turn out well. Working with almond flour can be tricky since it’s denser and doesn’t absorb liquid like wheat flour. For next time, try adjusting the consistency of the batter by adding milk gradually until it’s just right-not too thick but pourable. Also, cook the pancakes on medium-low heat to help them cook evenly without burning. Make sure the batter is well-mixed but avoid overmixing to keep the pancakes tender. When you see bubbles on the top and the edges look set, that’s the best time to flip them. Using a good non-stick pan and enough butter or oil should also help prevent them from falling apart. Give it another try with these adjustments, and you might get better results!

    “Almond” has an “L” in it. The word is “ALMOND”…not AAA-MON.

      Ok, thank you I will correct the spelling.

      You must be American. In actual English the L is silent.

      PohTayToes. PotahTohs. Who Cares!
      We just need this wonderful low carb amazing recipe … not someone else’s unnecessary critique or ignorant lesson in English American pronunciation. Is it any wonder why some decided to quit on king and country and hop on the Mayflower? Oh Purtaytoes! Aamons it is!
