  • Many people who choose to become nomads have a good reliable car and they would like to find a trailer to pull behind it has to be light enough that it won't damage the car in the long run.

    I own a polar bear model for almost a year. It is a very well built and comfortable teardrop. We spent three and a half weeks and went over 7,000 miles on our last camping trip. We pulled it with a Nissan Frontier 6 cylinder 2 South Dakota ,Utah, and New Mexico without any problems. We are very pleased with our purchase.

    There is a great foldable kayak that would work well with this setup. And, it’s in NC too. It’s called Tucktec. Highly recommend it. Great video!

    Its really refreshing to see a family owned and operated business, and an owner that takes pride in the products they produce. The icing on the cake is they are made in America. After watching your two videos on this product, and going to their website the Grizzly is definitely on my list to consider buying. Thank you Bob for doing these segments on small trailers.

    Cool! Reminds me of the Chinook camper company when they first started out. They started out just a father and son building quality campers and camper vans in their garage. We all know what happened after that. I am sure that these guys are going to become a big name too. :-) Neat! Thanks Bob!

    This has been such a helpful series! I’m trying to decide between a build with wee roll or a ready made. We would have teens with us occasionally, so figuring out how to do that complicates the equation. Thanks for your work :)

    I really like the Polar Bear model. Someday I will probably purchase one. I like the small package but the ability to stand up, which I think is very important, especially if you are stuck inside on rainy days.

    He says at 1:57 he says he is the original designer. Trailers like this have been around since at least the 1930's. Stripped down the Polar Bear sells for $7,000. Pretty expensive single axle cargo trailer.

    I have been considering buying a rustic trail. I have followed them on Facebook for a good while. I have been in the owners group to read and listen, I have not posted. I have called, and asked the company questions.
    This morning I politely asked them on a Facebook post if they have considered making a composite version of the Kodiak off-road. They responded with a long post dismissing me as a potential customer simply since I asked a polite question. I asked more direct questions, and said I didn’t appreciate being dismissed as a customer simply bc I asked a polite question. They deleted all of the discussion, and blocked me on Facebook.
    This is clearly a company who does not deal with at least some customers in a way I want a company I buy from to respond to customers. Buyer beware! And have screen shots of the entire discussion if anyone wants to see them.

      Jody J , Bob and other "van life" folks make an average of $10,000 a month?! Wow. Sounds so easy to make a lot of money. With so little work. I think I'll go start a UA-cam channel about something, right now! 🙄(sarcasm intended,obviously)

    • @geraldhenrickson7472
      @geraldhenrickson7472 6 років тому +3

      Jody J....stop spewing nonsense. I know no one that makes that kind of money from UA-cam. Many invest 100 hours or more per month and make just a few bucks.. Many UA-camrs do it for fun, promote their website or to get products to test at no cost etc...
