- The Beatles' Sun King thru She Came In Through The Bathroom Window-In the studio with The Fab Faux performing live, doing what we do onstage, but in a relaxed environment. Whole performance is available elsewhere on the web. Called The Best Beatles Tribute Band, NYC band The Fab Faux are Will Lee Jimmy Vivino, Rich Pagano, Frank Agnello and Jack Petruzzelli and play the music of The Fab Four: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr. They are accompanied by Tom "Bones" Malone, Tom Timko, Jerry Vivino, John Chudoba, Amy Kimball and Sibel. Joe Chinnici engineered at Sirius Radio courtesy of Howard Stern. Bobby Noonan directed.
the best rendition of the greatest band that has ever and will ever exist, period..........................
This cover proves it. The Abbey Road medley is one of the most exciting pieces of music ever composed. Fab Faux does great work but it only proves McCartney is a gift from God.
soaringvulture why no acknowledgement of Johns work in the medley?
Richard W well documented...John didn’t want much to do with the medley. Side 1 was to appease John, while Side 2 belonged to Paul and Martin
After all these years people are still playing the songs of The Beatles their songs will never die
The vocals are very impressive, the musicianship is exceptional.
I'm a Beatlemaniac since 1964 a& I saw these guys in NYC in 09. I also saw the original Beatlemania on Broadway in the early 8os (I believe!) & a few other big time Beatle cover bands and these guys are hands down the best there is at recreating the Beatles sound. No others have come close. They're all professional musicians first and showmen second. There's nothing lacking and nothing is overdone. To them, it's the sound that counts & seeing them live, they make your hair stand up on end.
How incredibly cool is this?
Wirklich unglaublich, was für geniale Musiker
i love how the BEATLES had to take it back up to this level of excellence to show themselves and us listeners how GREAT they were AND are ! and this was their sensational GOOD BYE gift to the Universe...... a high point in musical history.............Thank You Beatles. [ and , of course, FAB FAUX, love you also ! ]
I love the concentration. To get it perfect. Great. Great. Great. Pete sr siny
I agree with all the folks heaping accolades on the Fab Faux. Many of us commenting have played instruments, and like myself are a fan of 60s and 70s music. And just as a second- rate group makes you wince when you hear that stray chord or missed note/ lyric, it's amazing when you hear guys that are this precise; not mechanistically, but flowing, with a real feel for the soul of the music. They both reproduce the Beatle's music while putting their own " stamp " on it, and that's the Art of it.
Astonishing.... meticulous crafting. It's not easy to follow the work of genius... Well done
It is rare to ever give a 'cover' the atonement of a 10, but it is without hesitation that I give these guys a 20+...............simply outstanding and stunning in the re-creation.............if perfection were able to be measured, they 'far-exceeded' by an atmosphere or so................into a different galaxy.
nice and excellent performance....
They are really good..they got The Beatles down pat..
I'm spechless. Listened over and over . this fantastic performance
Excellent musicians
They love the music, not doubt about it . thanks for keeping the excellent tuning.in this fantastic
BEATLES SONG...
FANTASTIC......
Spot on!
Haaaaaa every note is there! Amazing!
How can it get better than this? Just found you guys. Subscribed and thank you very much!
For those thumb downers, must be in the Beatles family. Hi mom. Great job vivino brothers
God, I love this.
Amazing!
...I don't think I can adequately express how amazed I am as to how , umm...PRECISE...these fellows are. Precise isn't a good word. I'm struggling to find something to express how truly great these guys are and which is better than great. Baby , I am Amazed! Just a great group of dedicated musicians, and truthful to the songs. Awesome!
I love these guys. I have seen them three times, twice performing the White Album and once doing a mixture of songs. To see them play the Abbey Road Medley is fantastic. They sound amazing and pay the original song all of its due. I have watched these videos many times in the past few months while high out of my mind.
Superbly recreated the vibe of the original Beatles tunes.
I couldn’t imagine the sensory overload on listeners when this record first came out. It’s song crafting at its absolute finest. I was an infant when it was released. I’m so very thankful I learned of this monstrous album.
Perfection.
It's been a couple of months and I've come back to this medley and I'm still blown away. I think the musicians that visit YT on a daily basis and peruse the many individuals and bands that have uploaded their wares will agree with me, that these guys are amongst the top 5 best of the best on You Tube and easily the best when it comes to honoring the songs of The Beatles. I'm just proud to listen to them here and look forward to seeing them live at one of their shows.
amazing!!!!!
exceptional work particularly on the G 11th chord between the E major opening and the C major singing. Marvellous.
it's Incredible
All of their recreations of Beatles classics are spot on. Many posted on UA-cam. Enjoy the music and don’t nitpick I say.
currently i've been obsessing on the abbey road medley, and recently i heard howard stern play the fab faux doing penny lane. so i came here and look what i found. just brilliant, brilliant.
Nailed it guys. What a wonderful band you are
I love watching this series. Great talent on display here.
Brilliant
Going to see them for the first time this Saturday. Can't wait!

Wonderful interpretation of my favorite album by the Beatles
Excellent! Really enjoyed this.
Fantastic. Great. Amazing.
You guys are the best I've heard!
Simply awesome!
WONDERFUL- LOVE IT.
There is a 16 minute version of this session on Vimeo. Saw these guys in L.A. and again in SF last year. Truly amazing....
I love this!
so well done!!
What can I say...These guys ROCK
It's great to see Will Lee reproducing Paul's bass tone with a Richenbecker.
Wills bass tone is a thing of beauty.
PERFECT!
you guys sound great!! i love watching these videos. way to go
By any conceivable measure this is a wonderful performance. Worthy to be compared with the Beatles.
Totally spot on! Rickenbacker is beautiful
Buen trabajo, igual que las otras dos partes. Felicitaciones. Congratulations.
OMG they are goooooood!!!!!
Thanks for good music.
awesome..!!!!!!!!!
the sun king is probably one of my favorite beatles song it's so moody hell they are all good but this one has something more
marvelous, they've got it.............
excellent!!! Quite faithful to the original masterpiece... Keep on going!
Один в один ! Молодцы!!
I'd like a lot to see you playing live! This is so great!
Oooooooooo nice.
Perfect
Great!
That Drum Fill at 3:06 just shows you what a genius drummer ringo starr is !
Awesome! To cover that much material in just one take is just awesome ! Enjoyed every bit of all three part videos. It's like listening to the Abbey Road soundtrack and I wore that album out when I had it. I'm heavy into playing Bluegrass now but still a Beatles Fan of their music. Makes me want to got out and buy the Abbey Road CD now. :) Excellant Job Guys ! Your performance (video) on David Letterman Show was great as well ! *A must see to anyone that hasn't !
The drummer is very happenin - relaxed
Great job !!! They even have Heisenberg on guitar !! ;-)
Are you certain about that?
...and Mc Gyver on keyboards...!
A q buen cover!!!👍
i luv this...next year i hope your playing somewhere i can get to...cause this is worth a ticket from auzzie....xx
Not recalling Paul always doing upstrokes, but I notice Will is on every note.
He did nt say "Oh Look out" she came in through the bathroom window.
You guys might like to check out the band The Analogues.
They fo the Abbey Road album and is spot on.
Complimenti siete grandissimi. Rb
yeah ...it's pretty good...
If this was the only music the Beatles ever gave us they would still be be better than half the bands that followed.
Now if they would only write stuff this good.
OMG You guys sound so much like the records! :D
Great freaking vocals ! Will playing upstrokes may be because he is playing a left-handed bassist's part on a right-handed bass, and I think Will is into those kind of details.
1:22 Look at his eyes. The music they're playing is so epic, his eyeballs are about to burst out of his skull.
Best
If you guys are talking about the little flub in Polythene Pam, that's definitely on the album. Pretty cool that he did that.
This might even be better than The Beatles. Well, you know what I mean.
@mege8524 Boy, talk about not being able to please some people... but since it appears you don't know much about them - they know they don't sound exactly like the Beatles vocally and they're not trying to imitate them - their focus is the music and they are replicating it to the best of their ability, which I will add is only second to the Beatles themselves.... in my humble opinion, of course. And yes, they are a tribute band.
Fucking awesome!!
Love the wrong bass note played at 4:25. So true to the original.
@mege8524 I have a friend in California that USED to have a tribute to the 70's era of Elton John and he sounded sooo simular! People even told him that he sounded just like Elton. His response was, "The only one who sounds JUST LIKE ELTON, is ELTON himself!" You can sound "Simular", but not exactly the same.
The biggest thing to come out of England since Sliced Beatles.
Has anyone ever heard of The Sliced Beatles?
Who are the Sliced Beatles?
lol
@daddygeezee- I realize this is a crazy bump but it is because Will is a finger player - so the upstrokes are waht he would do - if you notice live he eschews the pick and plays this all with his fingers - on the upstroke.
THAT RICKENBACKER!
My only tiny critique would be that I don't hear the great tambourine part on Mean Mister Mustard. I would have raised the level on that quite a bit more for all the tunes I think. Just nit picking. GREAT!!!!!
Someone send this video to Paul!!
whoops..I accidentally hit the dislike button....totally did not do that on purpose...this is amazingly good
Good performance guys. One thing though : in Scouse-speak it's "Gerl" and "Werld".
To all the people who find fault with this performance: I am having trouble understanding what you are referring to. Would you please upload a video of YOU performing the sections that you think the Fab Faux is doing wrong. This would be most helpful. Thanks!
I wonder how well the Beatles coud have performed this material live in '69?
Hey I used to own that bass!
Is this footage available on DVD? This would be incredible to own!
Rats! I thought I was the only one to catch that. Knowing these guys, though, I bet that mistake is on the album. Haven't thought to check, myself.
I've listened to that again and I think I have a pretty good ear. You may be nit-picking. I hear a tiny bit slow execution of a "slam" (quarter or half tone tactile resolution). I don't consider that an error, but if Will Smith included it on purpose, than the great musician agrees with you. I was talking about Will's deal at about 0:33 of the cut. Also sort of a missed slam.
