My ship USS Anchorage LSD 36 was decommissioned and sank... why did the US leave so much equipment
in Afghanistan and not destroy it? I hardly know America any more.

The US didn`t actually leave it. Almost all the material the US "left" was actually the equipment of the Afghan National Army...basically the media lied...shocking I know. It wasn`t US equipment anymore..hadn`t been for years..decades in some cases.
