There are indian video essasist but most of them either go for social promblem or political or there are other genera where they go mix with celeb or pop culture +social issues
indian aesthetic is ACTUALLY so beautiful. For example the picture you showed of you wearing a pink outfit,, the wall in the background was beautiful and it's sad to think that people find it weird just bc it isn't a plain beige colour. There are so many aesthetics too idk why people are limiting the term "aesthetic" to beige/white walls 😭
@@robinson-p4s you're missing the point, she's not speaking against western aesthetic. She's just speaking about how everyone feels the need to have the same white walled aesthetic in a country full of diversity.
@@robinson-p4s robinson no offence to you too, however in her video all i heard was, how the western aesthetic shapes us. i did not hear her saying anything bad about the western aesthetic. like she said people can wear whatever they want and in she also showed us the statistics stating people feel pressurised mainly by the internet to dress a certain way. in no way she defamed or said anything against the western aesthetic.
you caught the point that's not even present here it's about how PPL can follow what they like genuinely but just because you have a white wall or the white aesthetic doesn't mean you call out others for having wall colours which is totally normal here@@robinson-p4s
Been saying this for years Indians are way too obsessed with western culture especially pop culture, its so boring seeing them follow same trends you see in LA/NYC.
This situation feels very real. Some of my friends have started to judge people based on the "aesthetic" of their posts. If someone shares something that isn’t considered aesthetically pleasing and reflects a more typical middle-class Indian lifestyle, they are often labeled as "chapri" or "cringe." The only type of Indian aesthetic that seems to be appreciated among them is the North Indian aesthetic or the Pinterest-inspired "desi core." This attitude has created a divide within our friend group, where some say things like, "arey ye to wahi chapri hai" . having bright-colored walls or decor that isn't white or pastel, floral print bedsheets are unfairly considered inferior by those who follow Western trends. Even music! if someone doesn't listen or watch western music or series, or even doesn't listen to 90s bollywood, anuv jain and trending indian artist on sns its straight up "music taste kharab hai". It feels as if this is a modern form of dividing people into rich and poor based on their tastes.
woah, interesting and unique topic pick! good to see the rise of original opinions rather than just cookie cutter copy paste translations from western commentary influencers
thanks for noticing! i feel like there are already so many great western video essays, so doing the same thing might just be repetitive and like a worse version. indian video essays are really good too, but i’ve noticed it’s a pretty male-dominated space and mostly targeted at a millennial or boomer audience. if you have any niche topic suggestions, let me know!
@@dontmisimi could you make a video on like the pressure to speak in english instead of hindi? i feel like we're slowly losing our language and its so sad to see but at the same time its not really something we can help. i'd love to hear your thoughts :)
@@rishavkumar1250 i get that, and thats what i mean by "its not really something we can help", but at the same time, as we start to use english more, we're slowly becoming less fluent in our native language, which i feel like is almost losing part of our culture ^^
But Indian desis in the US are living more religiously, we may not know what it's like to grow up there but we ow what know what's it's like to be Indian and are raised by ppl who grew up there. Not to mention we visit there, and we also experience the intense racism here. So we get the whole experience outside of growing up in that country
I think all the "desi core" aesthetic is bringing the gen-z back to their roots . The songs, movies ,clothes , accessories everything. After putting a name "desi core" into Indian traditional things , we can see the rise in acceptance of every Indian culture. The diversity of our country is huge and getting to know every kind of culture is very interesting. I think it's a great idea of bringing up our cultures as it also works as an advertisement for tourism.
honestly, its not that close really. the current desi core aesthetic is an extremely filtered out version of the actual stuff. a great example is a popular bookstore in delhi called faqir chand. theres always just the leafy outside of the store visible or a flower or a book in the foreground or the inside of the shop is simply not viisble in any posts with that bookstore, thats because it doesnt conform to the typical aesthetic that the video is talking about. its sort of an empty tag currently. its just limited to jhumkas and or a jasmine flower with a grassy background (ohmygod he amount of imes ive seen this ill kms).
I actually don't resonate with this opinion and I doubt many Gen Z Indians do since a lot of desi core aesthetics are so heavily inspired by 90s bollywood and focus mostly on northern India aesthetics (that too a very few states really) . Similarly, I find that the pressure to wear kurti or lehenga etc is quite antiquated . What we really need is innovation. The mainstream Indian fashion is so constant without much changes.. I feel like incorporating Indian aesthetics with western wear will make it more popular and accessible not just sumn reserved for Indian festivals or other traditional events such as marriages etc . East Asian fashion uses western clothes but you can see a distinct identity in them.. we need sumn like that too to have a more unifying sense of "desi" without it being outdated or excluding other states and their cultures . Indian fashion and aesthetic being so stagnant and alienating towards those who don't completely resonate with the mainstream North Indian/bollywood aesthetic is what is killing our authenticity more . I focused mostly on fashion but in other aspects as well . Most Bollywood movies and songs are so repetitive and full of nepotism and egotistical untalented actors and actresses that it is repulsive to watch . Infact most of these Kapoors and the bollywood "elite" often pretend as if they don't live in India and completely adapt to a fake westernised culture peacocking as if they are superior . Glorifying such idiots doesn't resonate with most Gen Z Indians either .
idk doesn't feel anything like back to roots more like a romanticization of those roots and that too it's based on an already romanticized idea of those roots, it feels like the real roots are dead and buried. And it's not really related but I think it's important to mention that I'm from Telangana, and none of what I see labeled as "desicore" relates to my culture... idk how to explain it better.
I'm notoriously known for not appreciating anything easily, but I must appreciate you for raising this topic. The point is, I never even thought about this issue, and you just pulled a whole video on it.
what i personally think about the minimal/white wall aesthetic is that most of the people since childhood have been in a messy/very vibrant colourful houses which over the time can make them lose interest in that specific type of aesthetic, that's why they'll prefer minimal over the vibrant colour, I mean personally I do and it is somewhat indirectly inspired by the west too, it's a bit complicated but overall loved your video 💋
Why are vibrant colored houses 'messy'? That seems like a generalization. My mom is clean and neat, nd lives in a multi colored house(atleast the rooms). I think some ppl just have a high class ideas and generalizations after one experience
@@eshwarikhedkar7453 I'm sorry I misunderstood you and that makes sense that ppl go for a change, and then minimal white aesthetic appeals to them. I just think social mefia makes me paranoid:)
damn. you're right, sometimes i feel conscious when I speak in hindi with my SOBO friends or I have this constant pressure to use westernised vocabs like, ain't, yo, y'all. thanks for speaking up on topics like this.
i have noticed this as well. i personally switch languages depending on the person because both are not my first languages. the SOBO people i met around my age didn’t act like this and did speak hindi but the 25-30+ age bracket people usually refuse to, not in a way that they don’t understand it but they treat it in a weird classist way. about yall and aint its already a little embarrassing, unfortunately i say those too because of unsupervised twitter access as a kid lol
Darling hindi is an amazing language being half banarsi and half tulu and i speak both often english is just outside of me and those who get triggered by it. Idc about them although in return I speak more!
something something about the way white has started to become so popular in north indian traditional wear also aligns with the rise in the use of pinterest with its western aesthetics, neutrals obsession and white bridal dresses. its so funny to me because none of our ancestors would wear WHITE (mourning colour) on DIWALI, yet this time bunch of people on my ig were dressed up in white. (this is a north indian perspective)
the celebrities wearing white bridal lehenga/saree seemed nice and unique initially but atp they have turned it into a "aesthetic trend" which as a matter of fact will most probably only affect upper middle class diverse families and not actual Indian traditional families as they would rather die single but wear white in wedding.💀
that’s a great observation, and i appreciate you mentioning it’s a north indian perspective. as an assamese, we also wear white for certain occasions, both funerals and weddings. & you’re totally right about the pinterest thing; bollywood weddings are starting to look identical with the white outfits and decor. they look beautiful, and it’s their big day, so they should wear what makes them happy! but yeah, it does make you wonder where culture fits in all this. honestly, i’m a bit divided on the whole topic since i’ve seen both extremes. thanks for watching
@@anishaxd here is the thing though. So many people on Instagram are constantly complaining about anyone who doesn't wear red and go full glam on their wedding, calling it being influenced by bollywood/west etc that they don't realise that these big fat indian weddings, the previously decked up red brides are also influenced by Bollywood and what they took inspiration from.
This video is like a breath of fresh air on my feed! Great topic, I think it was a similar issue with the 'clean girl aesthetic' too - not very inclusive, lacking personality, the lifestyle associated with it needed you to be in a higher bracket of income, and lots of subtext when you didn't fit in. And as an nri, I'm seen as too Indian for the west, but too western in India. And now with this trend, too colourful for India. Why do we need to fit neatly in a box to belong? That too a box that's constantly changing. The struggle is real
I never understood why Indians vloggers need to decorate their rooms the western way and eat Japanese/Korean food in their aesthetic vlogs. People like the Japanese aesthetic because of its authenticity, if it was just another version of the pinteresty western aesthetic then nobody would find it so appealing.
It’s not just an Indian thing; many Japanese vloggers also incorporate a lot of Western aesthetics, and their content is not necessarily “authentically” traditional either. This blend of influences is not inherently bad as long as it remains somewhat grounded in reality. However, in the case of Indian vloggers, adopting a similar aesthetic can feel more disconnected from reality due to the cultural and financial/contextual differences
@@sugondee920 My point is that it is so boring. What's the point of differentiating that one is a Swedish vlogger or Korean vlogger or Indian vlogger if they are all following the same exact copy cut aesthetic.
@@dontmisimi I 100% agree with you. My point had more to do with the copy paste template a lot of Indian vloggers follow. For example, I watch Korean vloggers to learn more about their culture and their cooking. I would assume foreigners watch "Indian vlogs" to learn more about Indian culture as well. Wouldn't it be cool if they could showcase their regional cuisine or clothing or pop culture the way foreigners do?
I'd say it's not about the authenticity rather what the algorithm promotes so that the viewers find it appeasing to look at. We all are anyways incorporating a little western side in our lifestyles as well. Also, it's probably the romanticized aesthetic that every youtuber is running after to get promoted in this algorithm

Im Tamil and I really appreciate your point of the media making it look like there's only one way of being indian when the fact is a lot of us have our own regional and local culture . Also the very obvious classism and consumerism that is a result of algorithmic 'aesthetics', it really makes me question how much of our choices are us just following trends versus them being organic. Im so happy to find video essays from indian genz women who have been feeling a similar way...will definitely be following you!!!
1:40 Using buck for rupees is actually quite dumb and just shows how much we(the people from 80s to 2000s) copied from the west without actually using our own brains. Buck was used because back in the barter systems times deer or buckskin was a form of currency in the US. People started using this term for rupees in India when I was a kid and they used it only to sound cool.
Can we talk about “Pinterest appropriate bedsheets” because when did our homes EVERRRR have plain or striped sheets???? It was always some form of indian culture, be it flowers, elephants and all desi abstract ideas in one place… i was so tired of seeing so many plain sheets on ig and pinterest like the maintenance is so fucking hard why would anyone in the right mind have white sheets :😭😭😭😭
Yeah honestly I think these us gen Z people are going too far with all these trends. I believe our floral bedsheets are aesthetic enough. We as a community are loosing our individuality and identity by trying to fit under xyz' core'. Life wouldn't be interesting enough if we all had the same boring sense of decor and dressing. Not to speak of following the footsteps of these " Pintresty" Influencers overconsumption is becoming a real thing and it has disastrous impact financially and environmentally.

One thing that is true for indians: those who have money, never really had taste. But now that there is the internet, those with money have access to information on what is tasteful to copy from
This! Especially the part about not being Indian enough if you're from a different culture in India. As an Assamese myself, moved to Lucknow 2 years ago for my mbbs degree, the way people give such sharp piercing gazes when I did not know much about some strict festivals, all the customs, or when I hesitate (not out of disrespect but I'm an introvert) to take part in Dandiya, Garba, all those pujas and mantras, etc cuz I knew about em but never saw em cuz I'm Eksarana dharma Assamese. Like, I'm trying to understand new stuff but there's so much stuff man c'mon cut me slack 😭. I appreciate Indians' pride in their culture, but not their lack of empathy and sense of superiority over other Indian cultures.
According to most of the north indians the language they speak , the rituals they follow should be speak and celebrated by entire india... India has hundreds of language... Not only hindi... Our mother tounge is assamese.. our hindi is not good enough.. but if you are uncomfortable with speaking in hindi then according to them you are not indian enough... If you don't know about the rituals of navaratri, savan month, chaitra navaratri, diwali and prefer to have non veg during those festivities then you will be questioned and bullied by those people... Though these festivities are not even part of our culture yet they don't understand that... But most importantly what is indian aesthetic????????? ??? What is an indian culture??????? wearing red by the bride during wedding????? I know that red plays a significant role during wedding and nowadays people specially bollywood celebrities prefer to wear pastel colours during their wedding... I know that the trend of accepting pastel colours during wedding is influencing the normal people also.... But as assamese we wear white in both wedding and funeral... It's our culture....we have been following it since ages.... Whenever someone expires and before moving into a new house we don't do puja , we perform naam proxongo.... It's our culture...We don't celebrate navaratri, chaitra navaratri, karwa chauth, savan month and many more.. because these are not part of our culture.... Even Diwali is a north indian festival... Not Assamese festival... We don't know anything about the puja performed during diwali.. for us diwali is all about diyas , lights bombs, and rangolis... We love diwali.. and we love to celebrate it ... And even we respect all the cultural values and rituals of the north india... But if you don't know about it you are not considered indian.. not blaming all the people of north india.. but there are a few people also who have that mindset... Assamese people are non vegetarian... And if you have non veg during the above festivities people will start questioning and bulling you without thinking that india is diverse country irrespective of regilion... Everyone has different culture and different roots... We respect the culturals values and rituals of north indian tradition... And definitely we love it also... And whenever we will get a chance definately we would love to support it... But every people have different roots though they belong to India.... You should consider that also. We always say unity in diversity...But the superiority over other indian cultures and language will take a little time to it be "Hatred in Diversity".
@Sneha2779 Yooo the thing about non-veg is so so true, in non-veg I'm simple egg+fish consumer, 1-2 times a year I eat chicken. But the questioning I've gotten for eating eggs just this navratri in a restaurant, many friends are understanding but some people are so rude with their words and "moral & cultural policing". Also the casual racism here, sone people straight out call me "Japan ka ch*da" (I mean I am a weeb...) or K-pop character because of my appearance 😂😂😂
@aloelan As you follow eksaran namdharma I can understand your food habits... I'm not in eksaran namdharma... But definitely those people who are not completely in eksaran namdharma they follow their cultural traditions and worship deitys also... so definitely we perform naam proxongo , visit naamghar , visit xatra as these are our assamese culture and worship deitys also as we are not completely in eksaran namdharma.. and being an assamese I can understand you also....But a person like me who prefer to have non veg at least 5 days in a week , who eat egg , fish, chicken, mutton, duck , pigeon as these are our food habits and these are part of our culture I can say that nowadays according to most of the people specially in north india the tradition , rituals , food habits , culture of other parts of india does not have any values.... According to them the rituals they follow , the language they speak should be imposed on all the states of india.... Even we don't consider egg as non veg... For us egg is veg... And one day my parents told me that both my parent's great grandfathers and great grandmothers were vegetarian... But after a moment they told me that my great grandparents from both the sides used to have fish... I was confused for a while.. then they told me that they also don't know much about it... But our ancestors adapted that food habit mainly because of the geographical location and because of the climate....and when it comes to religion , historically it can be found that our ancestors neither celebrated the north indian festivities in any part of assam nor used to have a food habits like the north indians have... You will get to know how Mahapurukh Sankardev found eksaran namdharma, how ahoms adapted hinduism , how tribal people became hindu by religion through our history books... In history books you will get to know about our ancestor's food habits also and those same habits we have now.. So we are doing and following all those things which have our people been following since ages.. but I don't know what's wrong with these people... As an Assamese you will also know that so many bihari, marwadis have been living here . but we never questioned about their rituals... Even chath puja will start from tomorrow.. they will follow their rituals.. and they are allowed to do here whatever they want .. No one has ever bothered them .. then when a person from our state goes to north indian states and follow their rituals what's wrong in that.. why don't they accept it??? And when people like an kannad decides to speak their own mother tongue in their states they start blaming them also .. people were so concerned about the behaviour towards the north indian people... But what about the behaviour they show to the people of other states of india.. I'm not blaming all north indians.. I've north indian friends also.. even marwadi and bihari friends.. I love their culture also... But in north india most of the people have this mentality... I don't know why they can't show some respect towards others.
@@aloelan In this country people become racist towards their own people... And they expect to get some respect in foreign countries... The video is about how people of india are consumed by western culture or trends.... But The people of this country do not even accept the different cultures of all the states though they are not forced to perform them . And when it comes to our facial features don't get offended or be upset about it... Because according to them indian culture, indian language, indian facial features are those in which north indian people fits into.. I won't blame all the north indians... I know everyone is not same.. And I've marwadi and bihari friends also...so I can understand their point of view.. but when you go to north india.. It's insane... People are so different from those that I've met here.. their mentality, their way of talking, their way of looking everything... And most importantly nowadays we are in a condition if you watch a video on youtube or anywhere on social media, our own indian people become racist and bullies them because the things shown in the video is different from their culture.
Gosh YES! When I started painting with watercolors in India and I’d want to post flatlays of my paintings, I felt an intense pressure to have a white background, because of Pinterest and US artists. It was super hard to do and maintain. 4 years in I said “F*ck it”, and rebranded my whole website and image to have lush Indian colors. Best decision I ever made. Ok back to watching the video because I’m only 0:48 in. 😂
I honestly feel you did a great job at this video, and btw this is my first time watching your video. But girl you picked up a topic which no one even thinks of and you said FACTS!
Omg yes! my home's walls are orange and I didn't care about it at all until one day I started watching "aesthetic vlogs" on UA-cam. That's why I don't really show different corners of my house in my videos cuz I feel they're not "aesthetic" enough! That's exactly why I decided to make makeup videos only and not lifestyle vlogs which was my original plan. Also, it's so funny how people label me "Korea boo" for using Korean cosmetics? I love Japanese & the western dollete style clothing as well and I don't think anybody should be telling anyone on how one is supposed to dress, do their makeup, etc and if they do they're not respecting their culture? Whatever tho I've trauma dumped enough but loved this video! You sound so intellectual ☃️
totally agree! hate how one directional aesthetics can be! indian culture provides a multitude of different art styles, cultures and values. one just needs the right eye to appreciate it aside from what is popular!

finally someone speaking about this. no offense but i seriously hate how all the "day in my life" vlogs by INDIANS have this korean/aesthetic trend and what i feel is worse is the comments are always praising them for fitting these aesthetic standards. i watched some of these and they would almost always eat ramen, croissants(like you mentioned in the video). btw i love the way you addressed; the way of speaking and how it was very well researched. i would just personally prefer a slower rate of speaking :) also i loveee your makeup
I think we are very influencable in our late teens and early 20s. It’s really natural to mimic things when you’re still figuring ourselves out. But what might pull us out of this trap of following a particular aesthetic is having multiple sources of inspiration. For example, I do like white walls but I like to have Indian show pieces and paintings and Indian furniture with “western” looking throws and pillows. It’s a blend of all the influences I have.
All of our festivals are turning white, all from decor to clothing. Everything needs to be a certain way, needs to match in an ‘aesthetic way’. Festivals have lost their charm, no impromptu decor, no colourful lights, no traditional style clothes (it’s either indo western or loosely Indian - like a saree with a crop top/bralette, kurtas with jeans etc.) I am no one to comment on how people should dress, and I realise this is the more convenient way (I do this too) but even on festivals we don’t embrace our own. We’re only ready to embrace our culture when Hollywood or the new gen kinda whitewashed Bollywood follows on the trends. We’re doing yoga and going back to home remedies/ ayurveda when it’s now more impactful in the west. Dupattas are being reclaimed after the Scandinavian-scarf thing. We can always take inspiration, but remodelling completely to match them is sad. Great vid Misimi
You are correct but i also think we as young generations or gen z of india should be aware I have seen a lot of them wanna fly to another country I don't blame them but that's affecting india we are not improving instead leaving the problem and runaway I feel sad may be that's why westernization come
@@joyeetaghosh2209 we barely try to fix our country? Any person's dream is to leave india , like our fellow indians get educated and leave for abroad and instead of our countries growth, the west is growing 😢 , indians are one of the richest migrant groups abroad and india is one of the most polluted and dirtiest country also poor ,but only if they'd put much effort here the image of India would be so much better....and the teens in india are so much more uncultured than NRIs, indian youth in india are all American wannabes or Korean wannabes
Even Indian wedding... DEPRESSING bland white ...paaaale Pink n pastel ...devoid of the energy and exuberance of our colourfull nature.. environment and culture... I LOOOOVE MY COLOURS ❤️💛🩵💜💙💚🧡
This is so interesting to me as a South Asian born and living overseas. I'm literally sitting in a room with a blank wall rn all the visual discourse I see about my own country and culture is through Pinterest or other social medial platforms.
great video! a point to note is that aesthetics - or a certain aesthetic lifestyle - are also used as a way to romanticize life. nothing wrong with enjoying cute pinterest ideas and incorporating them in one’s life. but most such content is usually minimal and has the ‘clean’ aesthetic that clashes with the supposed image of what life is really like in most of india. there is beauty and romance in our lives and living experiences but people (intentionally or feel pressured to) choose to distance themselves from that in favor of trying to romanticize life through a manufactured aesthetic because of influence and socioeconomic implications. and it’s not just the case with india. another such instance is the ‘clean girl’ look that trended. the look and practices that desi diaspora were once looked down for, have now become a fad. our experiences and lifestyles are only deemed ‘cool’ or ‘appealing’ if they are repackaged and sold by the global north.
I agree that there is a severe lack of pop culture outside of bollywood in India, I've been thinking about it and searched for something like that on yt but couldn't find anything like not even a video essay talking about it because idk why but Indians don't make video essays. So I think it's a great idea to just talk about that lack of pop culture outside of bollywood, reasons and consequences (ppl like me who are not up to date with bollywood culture have to turn to western pop culture because we can't find any here and then we are labeled as like you said "angrez chale gye..." stuff) Btw loved the video finally found a video style that I like done by an Indian.
Not only that, but a lot of Bollywood and stuff often also has misogynist undertones or sexist jokes, and if you don't relate to them, you end up feeling really isolated from culture, and I feel like this is also why young desi girls turn to Western stuff or k-pop culture, which are seen as "less problematic things" (not saying they aren't, it's just they also have problems but they aren't as blatant or upfront as Bollywood industry.
@@mindfulfairy Ya exactly!! I feel like the other industries are atleast not upfront about making sexist "jokes" but here in Bollywood, we don't even see an effort for that, they blatantly make sexist/homophobic/racist "jokes" and if someone calls them out, we see stuff like "women☕️". They just keep promoting this kind of stuff to teenagers and young adults (sometimes even adult) and making them think that insulting women is "cool" somehow. So ya that's why I don't indulge my time in such stuff (remember Animal??)
@@mindfulfairyI just realized that I completely repeated what you just said😭 but yeah my point is I totally agree with you and bollywood will have to grow out of that toxic mindset if they want the new generation of educated girls to be involved!
It's not just the gen z who are influenced by minimalist designs. My parents recently redesigned the entire home and it's so depressingly minimalist. White and grey decor, lacking any colour. And for once considered even window blinds(also white) in place of curtains. I mean, i get it that they are under a social pressure to make the house look 'modern' and are willing to do anything for that sake. I am not a huge fan of minimalist designs tbh
girlll i love that we're talking about this!!! I feel like I'm seeing a part of my myself as I watch you explain bc this is pretty much how I feel about it too ngl
idk if this properly co-relates to this topic but i feel like non residential indians also play HUGE role in how people living in india see themselves most social media appreciates these privileged rich indian kids living in the states and give barely any recognition to indians who are from middle class families living in india, like if an nri girl posted a lipsync video in usa in her bedroom, she would get a lot of compliments but if that same girl posted the same video but in a different bedroom in india, she would prolly get called chapri and a wannabe like ykwim
Love this video, it was so refreshing to see an indian video essay backed by logic and facts rather than a mere opinionated bias, and which dives deep into the topic to discuss its root cause instead of superficially shaming people for being a certain way or discarding the other side's opinion. I would LOVE to see you making a video about the rise of anti-india content on internet and general racism against Indians, as well as internalised racism among indians. Foreign influencers making deliberately going to slums/poor places, and then painting the entire picture of India in that frame. I feel this has become quite a big issue now which is not being addressed properly with indians either violently hating India/Indians themselves or following aggressive nationalism to overlook and disregard the flaws within their own country.
as a south asian person myself, i am proud of our culture and our innate creativity that allows us to transgress and perpectually WOW the world. but I canNOT for the life in me imagine degrading someone on the basis of something as petty as their 'aesthetic'.
O thankyou so much...i hope ur video reaches to all the gen zs...me being a gen z ,i have always felt a dilemma of this white wall and western minimal aesthetic which will kill our hundreds thousand years old crafts and textile... bcoz of bollywood, everyone want clothes which looks more like indian version of western gowns(glitter sarees) but what about those textiles from different region of our country... who'll wear those...bcoz it would not look good...we seriously dont know what culture is and how much vital it is to preserve it...we are running for these aesthetics but who'll adorn their houses with indian handcrafted showpieces, rugs by local artisans.... bollywood doesn't represent the whole country, even north india and has already killed many cultures and arts...garba is now a pop culture..what about locsl dances...thnx for the video
this is such an interesting topic, i've thought about this a bunch of times too! i personally feel like the majority of young people in our surroundings are so, judgy???? judgmental about the clothes people wear, the way they speak, their personal interests and hobbies, hell even if u don't use social media as much; if u don't align with the vast majority of people, you are alienated and judged so fast. I've come to DESPISE the insult of calling someone 'gay' or 'chapri', its so overused for no reason at all??? just let people enjoy doing the things they like, it is NOT that hard. the double standard with fashion and clothing is just as bad, in any occasion you can dress desi but not THAT desi, you know what i mean?? cute but never FLASHY, or you're "chapri" and get judged. fashion is YOUR way of expressing yourself, and u should never have to be judged for wearing whatever you want. the more you think about it, the more classist it feels?? this is just my personal opinion on how I feel about this though
Thank you for making a video on this topic. People are clearly choosing to ignore the importance and the value of diversity, they are just obsessed with cloning everything. 🤷🏻♀️👽👽
THANK YOU gor raising this topic. I understand and relate to every point you said, i too got influenced highly by all that "aesthetic" "that girl" stuff. My only saving point (which i kinda disliked earlier until i realised) was that i do not have am individual room and say in shifting the entire decor as per how i wanted based on what i had been seeing. So yeah. A few weeks back i came across a video of a researcher from a small live interview falking about the same thing. He mentioned that (as per studies and datas and observing patterns for decades) to penetrate deep into a society and mold them as per your wish target the youth, get them into drugs and excess soft p*orn content, distance them from gheir history, culture, ideals and heritage-and basically yhats how some entities (cough*WEST*cough) get other populations right in their first without them knowing. The discussion was a long one but surely an eye opening one. It made me actually take a step back. Since then I've been thinking about the same topics. All my girl friends who can afford all this white aesthetic or that girl aesthetics have actually changed their everything completely. And i almost did the same. I hope people watching this video understand your message (things you said or didn't say too) on a deeper level and take away something from it to remember for future choices.
6:18 its so true, everyone has lost authenticity to be the same as everyone else. I'm trying to change my life to include more aspects of my culture, Bengali, Indian and Pakistani culture because it is who I am. We've already lost so much to western cultures and deserve to reclaim it ❤
this video literally summarizes everything i want to say and have been saying in less then 8 mins....................i LOVE this video thank you so much for putting it out there........i CANNOT thank you enough..........this video is supposed to be watched by every single teen tbh.
Yarr, you've put my thoughts into words literally. I've been seeing this trend so much everywhere. Most of the west has homogeneous culture but India does not, it's diverse. Like how one festival only is celebrated in so many different forms in our country : Navratri in Gujarat, Dusshera in middle north India, Durga puja in Bangal, Jharkhand. I didn't go to Diwali Ball or play Dandiya growing up, rather I went to Dusshera Mela and viewed pandals. It's not wrong to appreciate a culture different from yours but should not forget your own roots. Someday I would also like to go to a Garba pandal and dance my heart out but not out of peer pressure or trend culture but rather out of genuine curiosity to see how my fellow Indians celebrate the same festival. It's on our own to preserve the diversity we have been blessed with. If I'm traveling to another state or region then I would like to see what that state specialises in architecture, food, textiles, crafts and artforms.
It's usually rare to find kinda abstract topics like this covered in such a way from Indian youtubers, it's usually the normal clickbaity stuff. Kudos for standing out! Subscribed
You made some really good points! I moved to Germany this year and have been surrounded by white walls ever since. What´s interesting is that a big reason behind the white interiors is that white paint is cheaper and easier to maintain here. It also reflects a lot of light and the landlords leave it like this so the tenants can paint it any color of their choice (which people don't do because of cost issues and effort because you have to re-paint the walls white when leaving the house). So it is simply a neutral choice and that's why is popularly seen here, which has very less to do with beautification. But when it is copied across cultures where - like you mentioned - it is not a commonality - it becomes very impractical to incorporate it as an aesthetic choice. That´s why it comes across as simply copying a western look and very 'un-Indian'. Although I have now been seeing a lot of 'non-aesthetic' very Indian, very rural content making rounds and getting appreciated widely. That should be the norm imo 😊
The dhool mitti in our environment makes that white, off-white. We have plenty of sunlight in India, so the white will just be too bright for the eyes, IMO.
i'm currently in the process of redecorating my room and i came across this video at the right time. and i'd be lying if i said my vision for my room wasn't completely blinded by pinterest and "aesthetic" reels. growing up, i've always liked things that had vibrance to it, had lots of colour to it, but i found myself suddenly turning into a "neutral-core girly" and now that i've come across this video, i feel like i'm going to decorate it only if it aligns with what I WOULD LIKE , rather than what everybody's "aesthetic" room looks like. thank you for the mental awakening haha 🫂‼️💗
I randomly stumbled upon this video ,and girl I must say we needed to hear this . The amount of research you did for this video is really commendable. Additionally, there is not a single word you said that i don't agree with.
Omg. Loved it. As a political science undergrad, I love how you explained everything, from the caste class divide to the behavioural science behind the aestheticism trend. You're too good. This is the kind of content I want to watch online. Keep it coming! 🩷
The point you made about how different the roots within India itself are and so even making an aesthetic and core that all of us can relate with is not possible was really good can only be done by stripping it bare and generalizing everything to hell, which we already are doing
this was so real like I've been thinking about going into content creation for a while now and my biggest concern is exactly the topic of this video. Not having white walls or "aesthetic" furniture in general. Also I follow you on Instagram and this video was recommended to me and I was like whaaaat that's misimiii I have to watchhh!
So the white has colonised our (very colorful and great) aesthetics too 🗿🗿 um remind me why we are tryna follow the West's trends and aesthetics instead of appreciating our own 😭
@Shelly-Manifest But sadly, i dont see those trending on social media enough, and even at weddings, I've seen people wear very light and dull colors instead of the brighter ones :((( wish we could appreciate our traditions instead of trying to fit into an aesthetic to please others
I was actually wondering about this topic for quite some time and never did I think that I would find someone addressing this issue that too an INDIAN?! really impressed with your thorough research on this topic. Continue making video essays!
this is a very well put video. its certain how cartoon channels have shaped ideologies and created divided. the segmentation and class disparity happens from the classroom. someone that watches CN over pogo is cooler than the other. its very funny that we as humans want to belong to a larger group of society, and still punch down others for having a different taste. the awareness to choose your own way of living is an important statement that unfortunately isnt practiced enough. great video! में भी ऐसे ही spiral of white aestheties में फँस गयी थी About 3-4 years ago, BUT Now, channels like" Haylo Hailey" have completely changed my views on "Aesthetics" क्योंकि Aesthetic का Real मतलब वो होता है जो एक Individual को पसंद हो regardless कोई कुछ भी कहे, नाकी उनके so-called Standard Aesthetics which are coming from western and East Asian countries . As an Indian, भारत के Aesthetics बहुत सुंदर हैं। and I'm glad my pinterest Board doesn't look like an Average Beige Mom Aesthetic, It's what I love and it represents me in a very authentic way . BTW, धन्यवाद ये video बनाने के लिए। में wait कर ही रही थी, कब कोई इस Topic पे बात करेगा।
Straight with the facts, honest about how you're also giving into the things you are talking about, clever, original, talking of nuance without being negative, insightful? Yeah I'm definitely subscibing.
Hi I'm Swathika and my parents are currently building a house for me. Thanks for talking about this. And I have been searching for Korean products, desk set up ideas, painting ideas on Pinterest so badly. It was super frustrating that I couldn't find the right Ikea white desk online. Also Ikea doesn't ship to my location. Pinterest is beautiful and dangerous at the same time. Also as you said the Pinterest trending products are super expensive in India.
Ever since I got into my senses I have ways advicated for white coloured walls at my home and they've been this way for the past 10-15 years. I wonder how much of that is just influenced from the belief that the colorful Indian culture is less "aesthetic". It's almost like coloured walls scream "cheap" to me!
This is the first video of yours I've seen. I love how you've taken such a nuanced topic and analysed it. No, it's not insignificant at all. Beautiful , thoughtful work ❤
absolutely loved this, its rare to see indian creators making quality essay type videos and you absolutely killed this one, the narrative was on point and the point that India doesn’t have a relevant pop culture esp for genz is so real, there’s hardly anyone except borderline cringe ppl like orry and wtv, keep up the great work
We ourselves dont embrace and romanticise our culture enough, we should respect our own culture then maybe others would too ? Ive been seeing indian culture getting appropriated many times ,like oh god it breaks my heart and barely any influencers speak up on it or complain , the way simu spoke up in shark tank about the boba and whole tiktok especially the other races were defending him and it's right, we need to get louder and show whats ours so that others know about it and appreciate it , i've seen these guys inventing christian yoga, calling jhumkas as bohemian earings, even latest versace stole south asian designs w no credits, Cartier too,and we know about the scandanavian dupatta thing ...like our culture isnt a joke pls
Wow no one is talking about this topic in such depth and your research is very commendable. Indian aesthetic goes beyond just looking good and reflects deep symbolic meanings. U earned a new sub!!
My issue is people wont do something indian cos they dont think its 'cool' or modern. But they consider christmas and anything western cool. I celebrate both cos I was born in the west.
As an army brat, I find it fascinating how this trend was slowly introduced to civillians when in the army, speaking fluent accented english, being heavily involved in culture and literature, and the so called "western pinterest aesthetic" were all incredibly prevalent in my life, even when I was younger. Parties would usually serve continental 3 course meals, and my parents would drill table manners into us. The army has somehow managed to maintain both the british and indian roots we have. To this day, the moment you enter any army house, you are confronted with beige/white walls, and chandeliers, and "aesthetic" halls that were so normalized to me. And when you talk to any army brat, you'll immediately notice heavy, accented, almost british English. We get frequently called NRIs or Mixed, and we all tend to have the same, western but conservative styles. However, throughout this, culture is still prevalent. We travel all over India and witness and partake in many different cultures.
It kinda go both ways too there are lot of people who join army and really not able to "fit" in this culture you know all accented english and usually try to act british I used to force myself to fit in just so they won't look down on me it took me lot of time to realize that i don't need to force myself so much and and there is nothing wrong in speaking Indian english Or act in certain way i can still be mannered person but I do not have to follow certain customs I know u won't agree with me but I think our army still have inferiority complex and have to act in certain ways but I am kinda glad i am out of there now 🙂
Wow, this was great to watch! In a friend group where the pressures you described are verbally condemned but ultimately practiced, I know all too well about the effort it takes to remain neutral. Absolutely loved how you presented this. Each argument seamlessly led into the next one, and each sentence corroborated any facts or examples shared. Very well structured!
Bro im all in for video essays about indian pop culture topics cuz i feel like we dont really have any such content... Really interesting video also. One thing ive noticed in some pinterest pics of desi girls is that they dont really look indian, they just look like the current western beauty standard right now ( big lips, smaller waist ykwim)+ some bindi and indian jewelery. they don't look indian at all😭😭 Also the whole indian aesthetic on pinterest feels so performative. One particular example was of the old delhi aesthetic. People were romanticizing the travelling in chaotic autos , the bargaining in markets etc. But these people mostly belong to higher economic status yet they do bargaining like its cool, taking away the actual reason people bargain. I hope my point made some sense lol.
There definitely is a colorism problem in India and how only people with certain features get popular. But to say, that they don't look Indian at all puts a whole country of over a billion people in such a tiny box. There's so much diversity in this country. And it absolutely sucks that only people that fit those beauty standards get famous and get opportunities. I'm so with you on that but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say
omg this is such a great point, i just didn’t know how to bring it up. even desicore doesnt feel truely desi to me. its like whitewashed version. but i dont want to be so sceptical since its at least a step
imo "looking indian" rubs me off the wrong way. what does this mean??? NE indians are monoloids, south indians are dark skinned, north indians are light skinned and i find all of them equally beautiful and gorgeous. we are SUCH a diverse country in terms of ethnic background and therefore genetics and looks, so what IS this "indian look"??? howeve i do get that here ure talking abt tan indians w bigger lips, smaller noses, narrow eyes who are termed "exotic" in the west but.. those girls are ultimately also south asian and also LOOK south asian.
brdr i am not a native hindi speaker, started with the “non indian” crap again lmao. i can speak 5 languages, you come and speak mine fluently without an accent then speak lol
@dontmisimi you mentioned the "non indian" part in the video that's why I ironically made a comment about it. Is hindi not one of your five languages? regardless, haven't heard anyone speak a Hindi phrase like that ever lol
it’s not very ironic when i was literally calling out ppl like you in the video who seem to police language and accents so much. it IS one of my 5 languages, but like i already mentioned i am not native. i am fluent in hindi but try making a video yourself and switch languages if you think its a piece of cake. north indians and their entitlement over everyone proving their levels of “authenticity” with hindi is baffling

indian aesthetic is ACTUALLY so beautiful. For example the picture you showed of you wearing a pink outfit,, the wall in the background was beautiful and it's sad to think that people find it weird just bc it isn't a plain beige colour. There are so many aesthetics too idk why people are limiting the term "aesthetic" to beige/white walls 😭
right?? I found it so weird that people were commenting about the background when it wasn't even ugly in the first place??
@@robinson-p4s you're missing the point, she's not speaking against western aesthetic. She's just speaking about how everyone feels the need to have the same white walled aesthetic in a country full of diversity.
@@robinson-p4s robinson no offence to you too, however in her video all i heard was, how the western aesthetic shapes us. i did not hear her saying anything bad about the western aesthetic. like she said people can wear whatever they want and in she also showed us the statistics stating people feel pressurised mainly by the internet to dress a certain way. in no way she defamed or said anything against the western aesthetic.

@@robinson-p4sRather than 'against' it's more like an introspection, like we wouldn't hv clicked if not for the aesthetic.

INDIAN CREATORS MAKING VIDEO ESSAYS ABOUT RELEVANT TOPICS IM SO HAPPY LETS GOOOOO
But it’s mainly North Indian - core in reality. I’m Marathi and haven’t ever seen Navvari sadi or something similar in “desi-core”.
idk doesn't feel anything like back to roots more like a romanticization of those roots and that too it's based on an already romanticized idea of those roots, it feels like the real roots are dead and buried. And it's not really related but I think it's important to mention that I'm from Telangana, and none of what I see labeled as "desicore" relates to my culture... idk how to explain it better.
That desi things songs movies are not Indian culture
I'm notoriously known for not appreciating anything easily, but I must appreciate you for raising this topic. The point is, I never even thought about this issue, and you just pulled a whole video on it.
It's like explaining water to the fish.
what i personally think about the minimal/white wall aesthetic is that most of the people since childhood have been in a messy/very vibrant colourful houses which over the time can make them lose interest in that specific type of aesthetic, that's why they'll prefer minimal over the vibrant colour, I mean personally I do and it is somewhat indirectly inspired by the west too, it's a bit complicated but overall loved your video 💋
Why are vibrant colored houses 'messy'? That seems like a generalization. My mom is clean and neat, nd lives in a multi colored house(atleast the rooms). I think some ppl just have a high class ideas and generalizations after one experience

something something about the way white has started to become so popular in north indian traditional wear also aligns with the rise in the use of pinterest with its western aesthetics, neutrals obsession and white bridal dresses. its so funny to me because none of our ancestors would wear WHITE (mourning colour) on DIWALI, yet this time bunch of people on my ig were dressed up in white. (this is a north indian perspective)
all in all lovely video, I will enjoy overthinking this for the next 24 hours
exactly you are right.....
the celebrities wearing white bridal lehenga/saree seemed nice and unique initially but atp they have turned it into a "aesthetic trend" which as a matter of fact will most probably only affect upper middle class diverse families and not actual Indian traditional families as they would rather die single but wear white in wedding.💀
that’s a great observation, and i appreciate you mentioning it’s a north indian perspective. as an assamese, we also wear white for certain occasions, both funerals and weddings.

People like the Japanese aesthetic because of its authenticity, if it was just another version of the pinteresty western aesthetic then nobody would find it so appealing.
whats ur point?

1:40 Using buck for rupees is actually quite dumb and just shows how much we(the people from 80s to 2000s) copied from the west without actually using our own brains. Buck was used because back in the barter systems times deer or buckskin was a form of currency in the US. People started using this term for rupees in India when I was a kid and they used it only to sound cool.
buck is not a currency. it is a slang for the american currency.

And most importantly nowadays we are in a condition if you watch a video on youtube or anywhere on social media, our own indian people become racist and bullies them because the things shown in the video is different from their culture.
yooooo congrats on the MBBS!!!
Incredibly well researched, deeply critically analysed. Wonderful job Misimi, can't wait for more! ♡
so here for the Indian video essays! please keep going
@@tki6087 omg what's your handle?
I am so happy to find an Indian creator making well-researched video essays about Indian topics.
I honestly feel you did a great job at this video, and btw this is my first time watching your video. But girl you picked up a topic which no one even thinks of and you said FACTS!
thank you! so glad you enjoyed it
Don’t stop making these video essays , they’re so good
Omg yes! my home's walls are orange and I didn't care about it at all until one day I started watching "aesthetic vlogs" on UA-cam. You sound so intellectual ☃️
totally agree! hate how one directional aesthetics can be! indian culture provides a multitude of different art styles, cultures and values. one just needs the right eye to appreciate it aside from what is popular!
girl omg you just popped up on my yt alg, we used to be mutuals back in 2020 when i was in siliguri haha and you were so sweet, im so happy to see you doing so well and this was a very cohesive commentary and i love how real you keep it. good to see you grow so much
i remember you!! thank you
finally someone speaking about this. no offense but i seriously hate how all the "day in my life" vlogs by INDIANS have this korean/aesthetic trend and what i feel is worse is the comments are always praising them for fitting these aesthetic standards. i watched some of these and they would almost always eat ramen, croissants(like you mentioned in the video).
btw i love the way you addressed; the way of speaking and how it was very well researched. i would just personally prefer a slower rate of speaking :) also i loveee your makeup
It’s a blend of all the influences I have.
shelly meets shelly?!
You are correct but i also think we as young generations or gen z of india should be aware I have seen a lot of them wanna fly to another country I don't blame them but that's affecting india we are not improving instead leaving the problem and runaway I feel sad may be that's why westernization come
@@joyeetaghosh2209 the way these days media got more harsh and the anti india things going all over the internet is wild

This is so interesting to me as a South Asian born and living overseas. I'm literally sitting in a room with a blank wall rn all the visual discourse I see about my own country and culture is through Pinterest or other social medial platforms.
great video! a point to note is that aesthetics - or a certain aesthetic lifestyle - are also used as a way to romanticize life. nothing wrong with enjoying cute pinterest ideas and incorporating them in one’s life. but most such content is usually minimal and has the ‘clean’ aesthetic that clashes with the supposed image of what life is really like in most of india. there is beauty and romance in our lives and living experiences but people (intentionally or feel pressured to) choose to distance themselves from that in favor of trying to romanticize life through a manufactured aesthetic because of influence and socioeconomic implications. and it’s not just the case with india.
another such instance is the ‘clean girl’ look that trended. the look and practices that desi diaspora were once looked down for, have now become a fad. our experiences and lifestyles are only deemed ‘cool’ or ‘appealing’ if they are repackaged and sold by the global north.
this is so interesting to learn as an nri, it sucks that this pressure to conform to western culture universal for us
feel you man
I agree that there is a severe lack of pop culture outside of bollywood in India, I've been thinking about it and searched for something like that on yt but couldn't find anything like not even a video essay talking about it because idk why but Indians don't make video essays. So I think it's a great idea to just talk about that lack of pop culture outside of bollywood, reasons and consequences (ppl like me who are not up to date with bollywood culture have to turn to western pop culture because we can't find any here and then we are labeled as like you said "angrez chale gye..." stuff)
Btw loved the video finally found a video style that I like done by an Indian.
Ughh the point about turning to western culture due to lack of Indian culture makes me feel so seen!
@@mindfulfairyI just realized that I completely repeated what you just said😭 but yeah my point is I totally agree with you and bollywood will have to grow out of that toxic mindset if they want the new generation of educated girls to be involved!
we need more desi creators like you who make actual videos , addressing actual things . I'm subscribing!
I feel like I'm seeing a part of my myself as I watch you explain bc this is pretty much how I feel about it too ngl
idk if this properly co-relates to this topic but i feel like non residential indians also play HUGE role in how people living in india see themselves
most social media appreciates these privileged rich indian kids living in the states and give barely any recognition to indians who are from middle class families living in india,
like if an nri girl posted a lipsync video in usa in her bedroom, she would get a lot of compliments but if that same girl posted the same video but in a different bedroom in india, she would prolly get called chapri and a wannabe like ykwim
exactly
you are quite literally the best indian content creator i've seen. new sub
YESSS UA-cam MORE OF THIS PLEASE
quality video essay by an Indian🔥🔥🔥🔥
this is such an interesting topic, i've thought about this a bunch of times too! i personally feel like the majority of young people in our surroundings are so, judgy???? judgmental about the clothes people wear, the way they speak, their personal interests and hobbies, hell even if u don't use social media as much; if u don't align with the vast majority of people, you are alienated and judged so fast.
This is like a legendary pull from recommendations. Love indians making high quality videos.
6:18 its so true, everyone has lost authenticity to be the same as everyone else. I'm trying to change my life to include more aspects of my culture, Bengali, Indian and Pakistani culture because it is who I am. We've already lost so much to western cultures and deserve to reclaim it ❤
Accept or cope with this hindu cultural reality
@Erenyadev I don't understand
Lmao, what's "Pakistani" culture?
@ImdoneIRL India, Pakistan and Bangaldesh have shared heritage. I'm acknowledging all of them, why do you have a problem with this?
this video literally summarizes everything i want to say and have been saying in less then 8 mins....................i LOVE this video thank you so much for putting it out there........i CANNOT thank you enough..........this video is supposed to be watched by every single teen tbh.
Subscribed

It’s honestly so admirable how much you packed in this short video in plain language ✨
Girl you are so underrated.. hope you keep growing 💗

Ive always been your fan.
The point you made about how different the roots within India itself are and so even making an aesthetic and core that all of us can relate with is not possible was really good
can only be done by stripping it bare and generalizing everything to hell, which we already are doing
this was so real like I've been thinking about going into content creation for a while now and my biggest concern is exactly the topic of this video. Not having white walls or "aesthetic" furniture in general.
Also I follow you on Instagram and this video was recommended to me and I was like whaaaat that's misimiii I have to watchhh!
So the white has colonised our (very colorful and great) aesthetics too 🗿🗿 um remind me why we are tryna follow the West's trends and aesthetics instead of appreciating our own 😭
We have been appreciating it enough. We still wear the clothes often enough. And we haven't abandoned it.
@Shelly-Manifest But sadly, i dont see those trending on social media enough, and even at weddings, I've seen people wear very light and dull colors instead of the brighter ones :((( wish we could appreciate our traditions instead of trying to fit into an aesthetic to please others

this is a very well put video. its certain how cartoon channels have shaped ideologies and created divided. the segmentation and class disparity happens from the classroom. someone that watches CN over pogo is cooler than the other. its very funny that we as humans want to belong to a larger group of society, and still punch down others for having a different taste. the awareness to choose your own way of living is an important statement that unfortunately isnt practiced enough. great video!

Why not mix korean and indian asthetic
Ever since I got into my senses I have ways advicated for white coloured walls at my home and they've been this way for the past 10-15 years. I wonder how much of that is just influenced from the belief that the colorful Indian culture is less "aesthetic". It's almost like coloured walls scream "cheap" to me!

Lol 😂
I personally love a minimalistic aesthetic but you made some great points in the video. Nice to see well-made video essays from Indian channels.
Bro im all in for video essays about indian pop culture topics cuz i feel like we dont really have any such content... Really interesting video also.
One thing ive noticed in some pinterest pics of desi girls is that they dont really look indian, they just look like the current western beauty standard right now ( big lips, smaller waist ykwim)+ some bindi and indian jewelery. they don't look indian at all😭😭
Also the whole indian aesthetic on pinterest feels so performative.
@@FIRXFLY omg thats EXACTLY what i said, ure so right
love the research put behind this video, thanks for adding the sources in desc.
1:39 lmao proceeds to say that hindi phrase in the most non indian prententious put on vocal fry accent i can't 😹
brdr i am not a native hindi speaker, started with the “non indian” crap again lmao. i can speak 5 languages, you come and speak mine fluently without an accent then speak lol
@@dontmisimi damn you keep going off I accept my defeat 😹🙏
