- I upgraded to a much needed 3080 Nvidia card ! I am now getting 45FPS at all times in 4K on ALL THREE SCREENS.
I am showcasing the power of this amazing graphics card with the new DE Haviland Canada TWIN OTTER.

Does MSFS allow you to control the view of each monitor? Like... can you select which screen has what view? I have 6 monitors. Three monitors run the instrument panels. The monitors are arranged for the mouse/cursor to flow from left to right through the screen but the screen numbers themselves are not in sequential order. With XPlane I can select the screen number for the various views and adjust the positions to get an exact match. Someone said you can’t do that with MSFS.
The short answer is : you can after sim update 10. I am using it because i have the beta version downloaded . As for the specific functionality you are describing , you can add as many "windows" as your computer can handle. You can drag and drop them to whichever monitor on your desk that you desire. You can adjust the orientation and angles and rotation of each one of those screens as you desire . I think it has almost the same functionality that you are describing. Again , the person who told you, you can't do it in fs2020 was correct up untill this latest update. Unfortunately, the update was supposed to release in August but was delayed . Those of us that are using multi monitor do so because we still have the beta downloaded and active.

I've just built a 3 monitor cockpit. Quick question, when you set the graphics settings, does that apply to all 3 screens?
Sorry to send you to another video but I just made this one a couple days ago to specifically address triple screen setup. I'm sure you probably know but I have to mention it otherwise people get really confused. I am running Sim update 10 beta. Sorry that was rude let me give you the quick answer. If you're using surround view from Nvidia that one setting will apply to all three. But if you get the new sim update each screen will have its individual settings as I show in my new video. I hope this helps.

@@MrScott_e Find a dead 55-65 inch LCD TV. Remove (careful not to cut yourself) the several sheets from the TV until you get to the fresnel sheet. Cut vertical strips about 2-3 inches wide. Hang about 2 inches front of bezel joins. Experiment with width of strips. Experiment with distance. Experiment with angle of TVs (90 degrees + ? Degrees). Experiment with hanging method.
@@alanbeasy1775 I have two 43” TVs that have two sheets in each. Are you saying the direction of the cut makes a difference(hoz vs. vertical)?
@@MrScott_e yes. If you check you will see that the light refracts left and right of the vertical. If you cut the length along the horizontal, and then try to use it in the vertical to cover the bezels, it does will not hide anything. You can test that without cutting just by lifting the sheet and seeing what disappears under it.
@@alanbeasy1775 ah ha! Well, if push comes to shove I have a 2014 semi-smart Samsung 3D 70” TV I can sacrifice. Thanks for the best explanation yet. BTW, I have the 1/8” double side tape to mount once I get the layout right. Still deciding on angle. 90 seems too tight. Trying 60 & 70 degrees but will wait until SU10 is released.
Looks amazing. what's the size of the screen & the angles between them?
They are 55inch and the angle is about 80 to 82 degrees
@@DaSimSimma thanks so much. That's decent size and convenience for that angle. Mine 32inch a bit too tight if i applied 80°, instead I got 60°.
@@arifnh_ i had 32 inch curved and i had a pretty similar angle as you ! The bigger the screens you get , the more angle you can apply. Enjoy your flights friend !!! I've been having a blast ! DLSS has really changed the game for me

what monitors are you using?? and are you running them all at 4k 2k or 1080
I am using Vizio M Series QLED TVs. 55 inch . The TV's are 4k capable at 60hrz (60 fps) . But I am running the center one on 4K and the two side ones on 2K 1440p. That's what's cool about this new multi-monitor mode in flight simulator is that you can downgrade the side windows and get a little bump and performance

I made this video when multi-monitor first came out in beta so please don't listen to my frames per second rant and all of my complaints. A lot of my complaints have been fixed along the way as beta's always do getting much better fps now but everything in here is pretty much how it works. I also realized that you cannot use Nvidia surround if you want to go full screen. As soon as you click full screen on any of the three Windows, that specific window will span across all of your three Windows kind of defeating the purpose so you have to stay in true three monitor mode. I hope that makes sense

Let me make a quick video showing the settings for fs2020 and Nvidia control panel . Give me a day or two to record it. Overall is a mixture of medium and high . Remember , if you can run 3 screens in 4k , you are already getting so much detail you can cut back on anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering . You can reduce a lot of the settings that you would otherwise use for a smaller display . Please give me a bit i will put up a vid.

I apologize in advance I'm not in this place where I can answer this thoroughly. Please go to my Microsoft flight simulator playlist and you will find many videos in which I just do settings and explain how to set up triple screen at the end of every one of those videos all of my settings are shown the game settings and the Nvidia settings.
