  • This week I was finally able to cook some of the beans I bought from the online bean retailer named, Rancho Gordo. I previously did a video unboxing my bean order and said that I would post the review.
I was pleasenty surprised with the outcome of this video and enjoyed the entire process. Let me know if you would like to see more cooking/review videos in the future. I have a few ideas for the future. As always, please like, comment and subscribe so that I can grow this channel as my video prodcution improves.

They have the best flavor of any bean . I think as a side , they only need a small bit of salt at the end of cooking , a small bit of butter & garlic . Put the work into the rest of the meal . The are good as they are , you won't make them better just different .

Definatly one of the best beans I have eaten flavor wise! I am excited to see how they hold up against some of the heirloom beans I plan on growing this summer.

I'm going to buy more to eat & plant 1/4 of the bag , give seeds/beans to friends . The local seller has no Ayocote Morado beans for seed .

I found it interesting that none of the local seed/gardenigng stores around me sold the beans. I need to go check out all the Mexican food/goods stores around me and see what beans they offer. Would be a good opprotunity to pick up a proper tortilla press and dust off my spanish skills should the need arise.

The local seed seller , sells a bean close to this for $00.30 , per bean . Or $4.50 for at least 15 beans + shipping . This is the way to go . @@flintandfish

These are very good with wild mushrooms and too much garlic.
