thank you mom❤
Potatoes are coming in from the garden, so I've got root cellaring, canning & lot's of dehydrating to do.
I 💯 % agree with ya!
Glad you mentioned curing them first before storage, an important step. I’ve been storing mine successfully till spring & I'm in zone 4!
(Reds only store till feb) My basement stays about 56-59F in the winter.
Good video
Perfect timing. Thank you!!
I love💕 your paper📰 bag and hole🕳️ puncher👊 idea!!💡 I've not seen that anywhere! VERY creative!!😉 That's using your noggin'💡 lol 👍👍 THANKS for sharing!

You always give the right tips I'm looking for! Thank you!💖🙂
Thank you Miss Renee, Great information!
Great advice, keep the good work up.
This was wonderful!! My potatoes are in big bags so I will be checking them soon. My russets are in an old bin and still green. The fingerling and red are soon to be harvested! Thank you so much for this!!
Hi Renea! Great advice and information. I have two doors in the basement that I lay my potatoes on and sprinkle with lime, that’s the way my great grandfather and my grandmother did, this looks so much easier. We have a lot of humidity and I will do both ways to see which keeps the longest. Have a blessed day!
I wish we had cool storage for root veggies. Here in southeast NC it is HOT and will be for a few months, unless things go crazy here weather wise. No basement either. I will can what I am able to and try freeze drying or dehydrating some.
Thanks for sharing.
Blessings ❤️
Thank you!

Hi , I am a long time fan of your Videos ! I notice you have a new Frig ? I am in the process of buying one So many to choose from ! Are you happy with the French Doors ?
Yes absolutely.
Hi, Can you also store sweet potatoes the same way ? Any suggestions ? I live in an apartment -No basement How can I store them ? We had a great value on a large amount of Potatoes ! I would like to keep them for the winter .Please help me with some suggestions ! Thank you !
Yes you can. Keep them dark and in the coolest area of your apartment.
Can I do this with store bought potatoes that have been washed?
you can but they will not last as long as unwashed so keep a closer eye on them.
I have had them keep for as long as eight months in a potato bin, cool temperature and dark area, no problems! That is in a corner bin in our pantry,, cannot have cellars where we live on the coast so they have always kept just fine in our potato bins, about four hundred pounds, of course we look them over really good first!
Do mice mess with them in the bag down in the cellar? That’s my biggest worry.
I am not sure, I have a vicious cat so we have no mice. lol
Wonderful tips! So infuriating to have them go bad on you quickly. Thank you.
