    Thanks for posting the link to the Mueller. So many channels rave about a product, but don't tell you what model it is, sometimes not even mention the brand. I have a Vidalia Chop Wizard but am not happy with the size of the large dicer. The Mueller looks perfect and I used your link to order one. Months later since you posted this, potato prices are getting worse. I've been dehydrating Russets. I'd rather not use Yukons for freezing, but if as you say they crumble, I don't want to waste my time with Russets. Thanks so much for this video - very timely for me.

    Curious to know why you put the spuds on a cookie sheet to freeze them instead of just putting them in the baggie and freezing. Is it just so that they don't stick to each other? And the other question that I have is can this be done with sweet potatoes? A friend brought over a couple of cuttings from her sweet potato plants and they're doing great, so I would imagine that I'll have lots of them come harvest time.

    • @Jill4Today
      @Jill4Today  2 роки тому +2

      You are right about the freezing first on the cookie sheet. They will stick together and be really difficult to get apart. Been there, done that. Regarding sweet potatoes. I don't see why that would not work. I'd sure give it a go.

    • @Jill4Today
      @Jill4Today  2 роки тому +1

      I think one of the problems with freezing whole potatoes is that potatoes really do need blanching before freezing. You'd never get a whole potato processed correctly and I think once you defrosted/cooked it the poor thing would be mush. But, heck, give it a try. It'd be worth sacrificing one potato to see how it works. Good luck if you do try it
