4" sq electrical box cover make good shims. I sometimes stick them to the floor or to the cinder blocks so they don't get knocked around when putting the boiler in place. LOL Cinder blocks you can tell I am old.
You're most welcome! The compression fitting sizes for this particular fitting are confusing. They CAN go by OUTSIDE tubing diameter (HVAC guys go by that, as a rule). That's what gives you the 7/8 inch size. Plumbers go by nominal INSIDE diameter. That's what can give you the 3/4 inch size.
