    Will's call in section has to be called "Will-Call"
    According to Merriam Webster:
    will-call
    1: a retail sale in which something is reserved by a deposit with full payment to be made when the merchandise is called for at a later date
    2: LAYAWAY sense 2
    3: a window or desk (as at a box office) where people can pick up items (such as tickets) that they have previously purchased (as by phone or online)

    I played with the Gama Airbender since Spring and have really improved with it!
    Bought a Hurache X Control + and a B&B Shogun as my journey from one end of the spectrum to the other unfolds. Love them both, but the Shogun is the winner for the All-Court paddle for me.
    Thanks for the great paddle conversations, testing and feedback.

    A current pet peeve of mine: I have been to the paddle factory and they have shown me the "titanium" face weave. They told me to my face that the "titanium" is actually aluminum and always has been. Apparently, this is something that came over from tennis. When you see a "titanium" tennis racket, it is also just made from aluminum. I guess the reason that this bothers me is because it feels misleading because titanium is much more of a buzz word than aluminum would be. Not saying anything about the performance of the material, just how we are talking about it.

    I would say I’m still at the beginner level but I’m ready to move on from the Amazon paddles to something better. I’m leaning towards the J2K because like everyone says it’s a good all around paddle and not really bad at anything. But I’m also looking at the b&b shogun and the j7k/pro. I love the uniqueness of the shogun and the look of it and it’s also a good paddle I’ve heard and the j7k/pro is very similar to the j2k but a bit more powerful but still as good. Any other thoughts to help me?

    • @jdyusko
      @jdyusko 5 місяців тому +1

      I have the J7k (non-pro) and enjoy it pretty well - definitely notice more power and biggest adjustment for me are resets - still dialing those in and I have played with it for about 5 hours. My previous main was a Crbn 1x clone (XSPAK Carbon fiber elongated) from Amazon.

    • @barney9997
      @barney9997 5 місяців тому +4

      FWIW. For those at the beginner level, I would highly recommend a control paddle over a power paddle. And a standard/widebody shape over hybrid and especially over elongated. The reason is that control is much harder and more important to learn than power. The difference between different skill levels is generally related to one's level of control, not power. Power is more fun, but control will win you more matches, if that's important.
