I think the 360 would be cool to do for a track/drift day as a one off, but maybe not as a regular video thing. More 360 no scopes pls

I think 360 vids are good for looking at landscapes ie if you was driving down a cost road or up in the alps. It's good to have a look around. But for vlogs or a video you want to direct attention in one area a normal camera is the way to go.

you should hide things around the 360 for competitions and fun. like bwraaap every time you skid. or key words for people to spot. First to comment it gets a free sticker or just fun stuff. I like the idea. had considered investing.

it didn't make much difference to insurance. Oh and yeah so far everyone seems to agree that 360 videos are a bit naff

ChrisDrift no its just anything more than 180, you'll be looking behind you. Year 9 maths should have taught you that
yeah but its only 10 degrees past 180, it wouldn't be very noticeable. I just knew it was somewhere around 180 and turns out I guessed 10 degrees higher instead of 10 degrees lower. I don't think that makes me a moron lol
360 in VR is amazing. Hands down. But not many people have VR headsets. And resolution becomes even more of an issue. On a 2D screen, even with the whole phone gyro going on, it's not that impressive.
The place I've enjoyed it most is in virtual tourism where I really want to soak everything in. And again, in VR it's 100x better.

btw the camera angle isn't 190 it's more of 130 or so

No to the 360, they're absolute shit. you mess around with it the first 10 seconds then you don't bother looking anywhere else. don't do it
