I agree with this on all but one point: Twilight didn't just turn out this way on her own. It's very much implied that Twilight has been being groomed for the role of royalty since she gained her cutiemark. Twi is coerced into making friends by Celestia using a manufactured crisis (read: something Celestia 100% knew was happening, kept from everyone anyways, and then gaslit Twi wrt how she responded to being told about it) because she knows Twilight will not be an effective ruler if she doesn't have people skills. She left Discord out in the open where something as simple as a misunderstanding between friends could free him. She sends Twilight Starswirl's unfinished spell, and never warns her not to cast it in it's current state. Just about every world-threatening crisis (or scenario where the mane 6 are incapacitated, which could count since them being tied to the elements leaves the world more vulnerable to threats. Thanks Celestia.) leading up to Twi's ascension, barring the changeling invasion, can be directly traced back to Celestia either doing something or conversely refusing to do anything at all. Twi is initially hesitant to take on any leadership roles and doesn't initially automatically gravitate towards them (Winter Wrap Up comes to mind - she just wants to be able to participate, her becoming the organizer feels pretty natural to me there honestly). She's determined and she'll step up if there's no other options, but she's initially more interested in studying and sharing what she knows than spending time managing others. Twi is initially unsure of being an alicorn. Who's there to normalize all of this stuff her? Celestia and her adopted niece that she had form a sisterly bond with twilight (we can assume) right after Celestia takes her in as her student. It wouldn't be the first time Celestia's adopted someone and raised them into self-centered, entitled behavior - Prince Blue Blood exists, and despite what we see of Cadence around Twi, Celestia nor anyone else batted an eye at 'Cadence's' 'stressed' behavior when Chrysalis is parasitizing her fiancé. Hell, who is directly responsible for Twi feeling like she must know better than everyone else at all times *or else*? The way Twi talks it seems like she was raised more by the royal family than her parents. And doesn't the way she learns to goad people into doing exactly what she wants reminiscent of someone other than her mother? Twi can be an awful character, but a lot of those flaws, canonically, can be traced back to the people that chose to instill much of that in her for their own gain. Celestia was looking for someone to take over before she even met Twi, the plan was always to shunt everything onto someone else and (very possibly) abscond with her sister. She's shown to be pretty annoyed with her position at random times, and if you consider those time to just be the ones where the mask slips, Celestia becomes a completely different character with 1000s of years of practice in putting on a face for people to get what she wants.
This theory oddly makes sense all things considered, which is absolutely wild, and does anyone else still confused as to why Luna decided to retire with celestia even though she'd only been back for 5 years?, surely she could have been there to help directly rule as well as teaching Twilight the ins and outs of ruling a country, and honestly Twilight taking the throne at such a young age just doesn't make sense to me.. especially since we don't know if it's confirmed that she's actually immortal or not.
@@ghostdraco24then Celestia’s decision makes even _less_ sense, because let’s be honest: the Ponies of Equestria are dumbasses. Because in less than a century, without a literal *Princess of Friendship* around to tell them “hey, be friends!” they regressed to their Pre-Celestia days, racism and all. For all her flaws and bad decisions everyone got along during Celestia’s reign. Makes me wonder how badly Twilight f*cked up once she was gone 😒😒😒
@ghostdraco24 She's an alicorn, so not sure what kind of crack the authors are on 😂 alicorns live longer than normal ponies, even if they aren't truly immortal
So this video is just like blowing up now? Not that im complaining, this is a hidden gem! Even if it was an April Fools joke i still really enjoyed watching this!
I hope you know that this is just a theory. I do not believe Twilight Sparkle is evil, but I believe she is learning friendship because in season one, and we see her reading the prophecy about nightmare moon, and when she’s going to where she lives library. we see spike do you running towards twilight and twilight slammed the door open and spike falls down and then spike that we have a present from moon dancer, and twilight saying we don’t have time for that stuff, but we’re on break and also twilight ask Spike to give her the book about old ancient prophecies spike believing that nightmare moon was just some old ponytail but then later in the episode, we see twilight meeting the mane, six pinkie pie applejack Rainbow Dash and rarity, and we do see her trying to resist making friends, but in the second episode, where she brings nightmare, moon, back into her normal self as princess Luna we see her genuinely caring about her friends and in the movie when twilight yells at pinkie pie when she says well, maybe I would’ve been better off without friends like you she genuinely feel sorry as he tries to say pinky I and pinky says I can’t talk to you right now and don’t forget the season two episode the return of harmony where the villain discord comes back, and he tricks the main sex into being the opposite of their true selves, and then twilight and her moment of downfall and sadness she realized when princess Celestia sent back those letters she realized what friendship was, and she told spike. Remember when we got here, I said, the future of a Equestria does not depend on me making friends, but the opposite was true and we realize she learned great lessons of friendship over the years, heck and the season four episode when discord, plunder seeds start taking over Ponyville discord says is these words I did not know you were the type of pony to believe she was more important, and then every pony else and then twilight says I’m not important then to anyone I’m sorry to assume that discord says it’s just that you agree to their plan to come back here to save your precious princess self, while your friends walking to danger for you I’m sure you all be the best of friends again when they return from that deeply get bonding experience that they’re having without you, then twilight goes back to her friend in the other free forest, and then she told her friends that they have to give up the elements of harmony to save the tree of harmony, and she realizes more importantly, what makes friendship friendship, so in the shell, and in the movie, she is not evil sure, she has made mistakes and flaws, but we all do so you should not judge twilight on those tiny little Actions and realize that she has made lots of mistakes, but that doesn’t make twilight sparkle evil
@@ikben3983 Did you actually read any of his comment? Because it really isn't that long compared to some of the ones I've seen. I fear for your sanity if you go to Attack on Titan videos and read some of those discussions, because what is posted here is nothing compared to the length of those posts.
I never really thought that the title of "the princess of friendship." Made that much sense for Twilight, considering she isn't exactly the greatest at it, when you look closer she just has REALLY good persuasion skills which helps her to create strong political allies add peace treaties with other countries, at least that's how I saw it. And not as a literal just friendship thing. She's seems very incapable of respecting other people's beliefs specifically when it doesn't make logical sense to her, ( *cough cough, Pinky* ) so she can come off as very insensitive and disrespectful at times, Twilight is not the princess of friendship. She's the princess of political relationships.
I've always loved the concept of Twilight secretly scheming and manipulating everyone for years, tricking Harmony itself and finally reveals her true nature by snatching the bell from Pinkie before Discord can get his magic back, transforming into her "evil" form, maybe shattering the petrified trio, taking over Equestria and the rest of the world. Man, I would love to read a fanfic about that. Maybe have the other characters take refuge in the human world or something, starting a rebellion.
@cenoura-4221 Well yeah, this concept is more of an AU. I thought my comment made it obvious? Also, maybe she wanted to test out how many ponies the Want-it-Need-it spell can affect, but needed a cover story, so she put up an act of stressing out over a Friendship Report to justify her using it out of "desperation" when she always intended to use it from the start. I'm not talking about how canon Twi is secretly evil, I'm talking about how interesting a story with an evil Twi who has been undercover up until the finale would be.
@cenoura-4221 Well certainly, it would be best if the story was well-made. Here's a concept that I think _could_ work : Personally, I like to think that it all started with the Rainboom. When she had her magic flare, it was Twilight's "Sunset Mirror Moment", her first taste of power and first time realizing her own potential. And ever since then, she has always been striving to return to that level. At first, it was just a noble, personal endeavor, but later, as she continued to be taught and raised by Celestia, her ambitions grew as well, but unlike her predecessor, she didn't just want to be an equal to Celestia, she wanted to surpass the Princess, she wanted the whole *world* under her hooves. Unlike Sunset, Twilight doesn't wear her intentions on her sleeve, she was discreet, putting up a façade of a bookish mare who tends to get quite engrossed by her studies, she knew if she just flaunted her desire for power, it wouldn't give her a very good reputation. She was also more clever at scheming than Sunset, being able to properly plan things with a multitude of backups and failsafes, her logic-driven mind helping her create a web of plans that interconnect with each other that can adapt to any possible scenario. Considering she was chosen by Harmony itself to become the bearer of Magic, it's no suprise she was incredibly talented at it, and with her plans now set it motion, all she needed to do as she waited was to study any and all forms of magic that'll be useful for her objective, and in her constant studies she dicovered the story of Nightmare Moon years before Celestia had intended her to, which led Twilight down a rabbit hole of studying ancient artifacts of power, the Elements, trinkets, staffs, weapons, she held on to any knowledge of them that she could find. And it all finally came into fruition, on the longest day of the thousandth year, she finally managed to trick Harmony itself into giving her the first step to ruling Equestria and beyond.
@cenoura-4221 Don't worry, your English is fine, I'm not a native speaker as well. I also don't mind reading text walls if it's a part of our conversation. That's a great concept, though I do believe there's already a story with that premise, but Spike was assassinated instead of offing himself. _Assassinverse: Vengeance of the Star_
@cenoura-4221 Same here, I've considered uploading a oneshot on fimfiction based on a personal AU I have, though I'm still not confident enough in my writing skills. I still struggle with descriptions.
I HIGHLY DOUBT generation 5 is gonna get into this. They had like’ SIX SEASONS to get their shit together and the last one ended with an episode called “secret of starlight” and DIDNT EVEN HAVE HER IN THE EPISODE
Friendly reminder to all.the new people watching this that you should check the upload date because this was literally an April fools video 😭 the amount of people taking this theory serious and calling it stupid is surprising
Huh? So we actually don't think that Twilight is the real villain?? Me confused 🫠 Also it only says that it was uploaded two years ago, I think. But tbh, Twilight definitely is very opinionated and does have some narcissistic and OCD traits though.
This whole analysis you gave might make a good premise in the Series. I love Friendship is Magic, I don't hate that they ended it but I hated the way they ended it, because there is so much more to include to that Series. I would love to see a My Little Pony villain who can use Friendship as a tool to serve as an eye-opener for Twilight.
I know that this is old and a joke, but you're not exactly wrong either. Some of the points were overblown or misrepresented sure, but the assessment of her overall personality and how she treats others around her is accurate. She's dismissive and self-centered toward anyone who has a lower statis than her and even some who have the same statis and just aren't alicorns. Also, you left out the part were she decides on her own that her friends, some who have multiple/full-time jobs, will just drop everything and work for her at her school without consulting them and they weren't allowed to say no. Or the fact that the friendship lessons she taught at the school were just self-glorification. There's more, so much more, but yeah, she's a terrible princess of friendship. Pinkie Pie or Rarity would have been better options for that title. Twilight was more the princess of nepotism.
Twilight does have a lot of issues and sometimes makes me uncomfortable but she isn't necessarily as bad as you say. Though she is deeply flawed in her ignorance and selfishness she can be a little mean at times. My favourite characters are actually Apple Jack and Pinkie. Apple Jack is so sincere, hardworking and a loving and kind sister and Pinkie spreads joy where ever she goes. She makes me smile when she's on screen with her fun and humorous language of love towards not only her best friends but her entire town!! 🤗🤗💕
Wether or not that this is just an April Fool's video, while I love Twilight, the show completely ignores her mistakes. The main issue I have with her is in the final two episodes. In "The Ending of the End Part 2" she and her friends smile at the what is basically preatated murder of their enemies which is exactly what the villain trio where doing to them moments ago! So does that mean we're supposed to hate the heroes of the show? I have a big issue with this as in the final episode Twilight's still acting like a dictator over Luster. Cause at first she acts like she supports Luster's view on friendship, but later gaslights her student into accepting friendship. And yet everyone acts so surprised with Twilight creating the unity crystals the way she's presented as doing so far in G5...
While this does make sense in one sense, there is a lot of information that is left out. Like Starlight's village; she'd taken their magic and marks away without taking her own away. That is a dictatorship. And while I agree that Twilight forces her own agenda on others (much like real world politics), what Starlight did was absolutely not okay. But all in all, I actually agree that Twilight wasn't a good character. Well written yes, but on the good vs evil scale, I would put her on the spectrum of bad but not yet evil.
Wasn't starlight's behaviour in "Cutie Map" 1 & 2 cultish? Even Pinkie Pie didn't trust her Other than that I agree with everything else you said, you're mostly right
Starlight was a cult leader, but a cult leader has Charisma, which Twilight hasn't. She isn't a charismatic leader. You can break her down more easily than Starlight.
Awesome video when you were talking about how manipulative Twilight is I thought she was like Cozy Glow because she also uses friendship for her own game to. I think Celestria is also manipulative she wanted Discord to be redeemed just to use him and it makes since Discord is the most powerful MLP character.
Celestia is manipulative? She acts like a side character. Except giving Twilight issues, she doesn't do much. Twilight herself acts like a classical ISTJ. The series has absolutely no idea about psychology. You can't simply throw an Introvert in an adventure and expect them to become the embodiment of friendship. If the psyche of ponies doesn't differ from the human one too much, than Twilight acts based on her cognitive functions rather than the magic of friendship. We ISTJ have a weak Fe (extroverted feeling), which influences our interactions. Pinkie is an ENFP and the complete opposite of us ISTJs. This contrast can lead to a lot of misunderstandings. Some introverts find extraverts annoying and some extroverts see introverts as lazy. I am also ISTJ and I find smalltalk annoying too. So some things are either overseen or excluded by Hasbro.
Technically this is super funny but could be seen as truth and I actually did turn twilight into a villain in my own AU because it’s way too easy and g5 just makes it more likely in my opinion that twilight was truly a power hungry pony villain 😂
This is very convincing, and a well done video essay. My rebuttal relies on a few points, Occam’s razor, this is a cartoon so things have to be dramatized and interesting, we don’t see every day of these pony’s lives and have reason to believe the conflicts are the episodes, the value of friendship is inherent, people need interpersonal connection as it is the means to create a more peaceful and knowledgeable world.
In the first two seasons, she could be sometimes rude and abrupt, especially in a Canterlot wedding where she shouted at Cadance instead of talking about what was happening.
3:27 Invite an introvert to a party, what do you expect 3:48 Shes focused and the door was an accident 4:00 An introvert from first class society. 4:25 She got access to the elements because she made TRUE friends. 4:34 Shes done the bidding of others as well and risked her life in the crystal empire and going through a random mirror portal to get her crown 5:20 Pinkie's kinda annoying and this is Season 1 Twilight After this it's overreaction on Twilight's part and assumptiions 10:25 1 word. ACCIDENT The map literally called them into Starlight's town because there was a PROBLEM Starlight became Headmare so she wasn't left to rot Chrysalis is too far gone Tirek is too far gone Cozy Glow and Twilight are nothing alike. "Friendship IS powerful, but power isn't why you make friends, I'm sorry I couldn't teach you that." is what Twilight says to Cozy Nobody is perfect, not even Twilight but it doesn't mean shes a villain Equestria fell because Opaline had plot armor and Hasbro had to milk the franchise, not because Twilight was a bad ruler The racism in G5 was caused by Opaline
If you apply enough scrutiny you will find people's own interests in almost, every action they take even if it is just their brain begging for a chemical release.
Twilight is an ISTJ, Starlight an ESTJ. As an ISTJ myself, I know that we have a strong "extroverted thinking". This strong Te can easily lead to arrogance. I am a healthy ISTJ. I know about which of my cognitive functions are strong and which are weak. But an unhealthy ISTJ can become selfish. Starlight was the same. She was an unhealthy ESTJ. Commanders can lead people in the right direction, if they are healthy or subject them, if they are unhealthy
this is a fantastic analysis, and you've done a great job of explaining EVERYTHING ive thought since i grew up with FIM. I never liked Twilight's personality, just her design. she always came across and very..Mary Sue, but a little different. everything she does wrong is immediately forgiven and she is rarely punished severely for things she does incorrectly. she treats her friends just okay, the other ponies seem like they genuinely love each other so much more than she does.
this is an april fools joke.. idk what ur on about that she treats her friends just "okay", she obviously loves her friends to the bottom of her heart. YES maybe her mistakes shouldn't be ignored so much, but cmon.. saying she actually uses her friends is just crazy.. you have to had watched the show with a blind eye if you actually think this. i can literally go through every single point in this video and say how incorrect and twisted they are. this video is so stupid, and i know that's the point but theres no way you seriously agree w this because this video got EVERYTHING wrong with FiM..
you could say this about any character. Rainbow dash literally sold her friend for a book and she was forgiven easily. Rarity basically made her friends work as if they were in a sweatshop because she wanted to beat another pony that stole her designs. Every person has had their bad moments in the show
Honestly, I think Starlight(is that her name?) should have been ruler or sm. Hold on, why isn't Luna supposed to be the next heir, though? Shes literally Celestias bloodline. I understand that Luna is basically the "Goddess of night/the moon" but I honestly don't understand why Luna isn't the next ruler. She doesn't even have a kingdom she rules over as far as Im aware of(correct me if Im wrong, I only just started watching MLP) so shouldn't Luna be the ruler of Equestria? Or do the MLP ponies not work that way? I think Twilight wouldn't serve good as a ruler anyway, she likes control way too much and always thinks everything has to have a "rank" or some kind of order even if its wrong. Honestly, Id be okay with Luna being the ruler of Equestria but I guess not since shes the ruler of the moon which is perceived as "bad and scary" or "not as important as the sun or as magic" -_- Also, as much as I don't want to admit this Twilight definitely does have narcissistic and OCD traits. Edit: Hold up, I just found out that this was an April fools video?? Man, this is awkward lol But Im still curious on why Luna isn't the next ruler when shes Celestias bloodline 🤨
I know this is an April Fools video, you can kind of tell by the fact you call Starlight "The cult leader" Glimmer a saint, but I still find it fun to think different theories that paint the characters in a different light by using cannon events from the show, if only for the "what if" of it all.
To be honest I don't really agree. I think a lot of twilights struggle with social cues and making friends is due to her being written neurodivergent (Im autistic myslef and often can struggle with empathy , or socal cues ect) . But this was a nice video regardless and interesting theory to look into
I totally agree with this theory. I totally agree that twilight is evil. I mean in one episode she literally just goes insane because she couldn’t figure out a friendship lesson and she’s been getting all the credit for everything and every single episode. Celestia didn’t even realize that was happening
The fact that you're agreeing with this video when its an April's fool jokes shows how dumb you are lmao..Twilight is the complete opposite of evil, this video wasn't serious
Idk bro i think ur missing the point Nah but fr this is kinda interesting, even if it is a joke with many MANY oversights, its still an interesting perspective.
If this was not intended merely as a joke, tben I must say that most of your analysis is in extremely bad faith and is more tantamount to a character assassination. I was interested if you would bring up any actual salient points as to whether Twilight was ever fit to rule, but few if any actually made it into the video. To me, the moment that proved that Twilight was absolutely unfit to lead Equestria came in Twilight's Kingdom. Regardless of the outcome, she made an objectively wrong and selfish choice, which put her happiness and the safety of her friends above the welfare of every other citizen of Equestria! Twilight was entrusted with the alicorn magic of the rightful rulers of the country, and it's closest ally, with the express instruction that she must keep it from falling into the hands of Tirek (implicitly at any cost). Not to use it as she saw fit and to use her best judgment as to wheter or not to hand it over to the villain. For all intents and purposes, when Twilight surrendered the alicorn magic, she had no backup plan. She was not aware that she'd be given the final key to the chest, and even if she had, she had no reason to believe that opening the chest would cause Tirek's defeat! She essentially had chosen to doom her nation to destruction and ruin, her monarchs to endless imprisonment, the Sun and Moon themselves uncontrollable or in the control of a tyrant, and essentially no known power in the world that could ever stop him! It could have been that she had doomed the entire world for the immediate safety of a handful of people that were important to her. Regardless of the fact that this led to the best possible outcome, it should have proved to Celestia that Twilight did not have the mindset required to make the difficult decisions a ruler sometimes must make; to put the safety and welbeing of the nation over one's personal happiness and that of their loved ones. It was the opposite of how she passed the "test" in the Crystal Empire, when the stakes were higher, she would put her friends above her people, and that is something a ruler must never do.
Okay I can’t tell if this is April Fools or not but I do understand where this is coming from, even though Celestia was the one shoving Twighlight into the pedestal in the first place (Twighlight wanted to gain power through, well, power and intelligence, not to be some magical leader, but Celestia probably inspired the ambition to become a political leader. After all, Celestia can do no wrong in Twighlight’s eyes). But there’s one thing that always bothered me. I’m autistic, so I often find weird patterns in shows that throws me off sometimes. So, celestial bodies used as cutie marks and names often symbolize strong magical capabilities. Starswirl: stars and moons Celestia: a sun Luna: moon Twighlight: stars Sunset: sun Starlight: stars Sunburst: sun and stars Sunny: stars The only exceptions are Cadence and Flurry, both alicorns, but not associated with a lot of the drama over in Caterlot and Ponyville. They have the Crystal Heart as their main source of power, not alicorns, so it makes sense that they would receive around the Crystal Heart than any celestial body motifs. We also see that some of the only problems surrounding Twighlight and her friends that can’t be traced back to Celestia is in the Crystal Empire. There’s also underlying connection with color schemes and the character’s specific motifs. First off is Celestia. Her cutie mark is a sun, and her first pupil that we can assume she believed would be good for the throne is Sunset Shimmer, AKA the only pony in the line up with ONLY a sun cutie mark. She also has a warm color palette, while Celestia’s colors are warmed by the warm pale color of her mane and hair, but the blue and green colors could represent being both the sun and moon for 10,000 years. Sunset was intelligent and clever, but had a big hunger for power, much like Twighlight. See ditches Equestria when Celestia realizes her experiment for a new alicorn is kind of blowing up in her face. But at the same time, Celestia is also finding a replacement for Luna, her corrupted sister she banished to the moon. Then here comes clever little Twighlight, slightly younger but no less powerful than Sunset, and she has cool tones, just like Luna. Twighlight was brought over as Celestia’s successor when Sunset ditched. As a result, she is purple with pink stripes in her mane and tail, a nod to being originally a cool tone character but being used for a warm-toned character’s purpose. Then I realize things get thrown off. Starlight is a cool colored pony with a star motif, and she and Twighlight look like they could be siblings, except Starlight’s streaks are blue, more on Luna’s side than Celestia’s side. Starlight could EASILY be the next Luna. She has the power. She has the drive. But she was a threat to total power for Twighlight, so she was knocked down a few pegs. Now for Sunburst. He obviously takes after Starswirl, but instead of blue and gray he’s blue and orange, with a sun cutie mark. He and Starlight are close, and frankly Sunburst could pass as a relative of Sunset with his color palette. So Sunburst could easily be the replacement Celestia to Starlight’s Luna. However he dresses like Starswirl, leaving him open to being both, since he’s a dude I guess, which I find odd. Prince Leon was shown as an alicorn in a French magazine, but he looks EXACTLY like Prince Blue Blood, same colors, cutie marks, freaking BOWTIE… The only thing causing a linchpin in this is Twighlight and Sunset. Celestia wanted new rulers, but accidentally created egotistical dictators (Sunset is getting better tho) who want to rule Equestria. Sunset is gone, which leaves Twighlight in complete power, kind of like an opposite Nightmare Moon situation where Sunset leaves willingly instead of being banished. Then Twighlight is left to beat Starlight into the ground, and keep her power, while Starlight and Sunburst do the whole School of Friendship, which kinda sounds like a place to tell kids lies about history. It’s written by the winners, after all. That is to say that this video proves Twighlight is the villain. So what about Sunny? The new show is very confusing, and Sunny is the only alicorn/pony with a celestial cutie mark and name, unless I’m missing someone. It connects to G4 with Spike, Twighlight, and the animated opening of the movie all being cannon. Opaline LITERALLY has an alicorn themed cutie mark, so she’s not the moon replacement, so where is Sunny’s opposite? Stars are used consistently to show an ability to be put into a Sun and Moon position. Starswirl and Sunburst wear stars despite clear sun and moon color scheme. Twighlight is originally the moon but is put into both a sun and moon position, with Starlight being able to be booth sun and moon just like Sunburst, sort of like a yin and yang. Does this mean that Sunny is not going to have a rival in the political power department? She’s obviously sun-coded, but she has stars in her name and cutie mark.
8:32 would you believe me if i told you when I first watched this movie (7 years old and a die-hard MLP fan) this O N E quote made the excitement drain from my body in an instant. In terms of today I'm conflicted with this quote, On one hand I still hate the scene but on the other I love the delivery of the line.
Why do I get the feeling that this is the same guy that created the Comatose Ash Theory? The reason Celestia made Twilight a Princess is because she had a vision that this would be a necessary action in order to save Equestria. If Twilight was really a villain, Celestia's visions would have warned her about it. People like to conveniently overlook this.
1. This is satire. Look on the date of the video.; 2. The series says Twilight learns the Magic of Friendship, but completely ignores psychology. Twilight is an ISTJ, one of the most introverted personality types. She is the complete opposite of Pinkie. An ISTJ has a weak extroverted Feeling, but a strong introverted Feeling. Add extroverted Thinking to the equation and you have a order, that makes it hard to make friends. I am ISTJ as well, so I can speak out of experience, but often I am more honest than Twilight.
Hey everyone @Gumball2 is actually being a selfish because this person is ruining the show because hasn't anyone ever been invited to a party but you have to decline because of a job or something if yes, @Gumball2 says if you decline to go to a party it means you are selfish if you decline. Now he's blaming everything on Twilight sparkle because starlight glimmer was forcing everyone to be friends so now inmange would you like to be froce to be friends always smiling by someone or make friends your friends if yes @Gumball2 is going to froce you to do it their Way not your way. So now chrysalis the chainring she'll take the love make other's weeker them her or others, cozy glow drains magic so no pony's can use magic or anything like levitation and teleportation for unicorn and alicorn so she goes to the top. Good luck with getting yourself out of it @Gumball2 because your selfish running everything 😡💢
Girl WHAT, you act like we (in real life) don't live in a sort of dystopian world and in mlp friendship brings order and doesn't allow something to ruin the world and once Twilight has gone it goes back to being how it was but a lot worse how can you just say that someone that has stopped the world from ending with her friends is a power hungry brat??!! She is also just the embodiment of friendship and magic THATS why she is the main character and then ends up ruling Equestria because once Celestia and Luna go whose taking care???!
@Gumball2 I think you just hate Twilight sparkle, because put it in real life you get invited to a part but I said no I have a go do a job or something like that wouldn't that make you selfish as well too. Don't forget your friends or so are still on something like for example say you are on Xbox one but you go straight to the other Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S you go go that would make you selfish. Now you're making and calling her a murder or whatever just to ruin a show that's being selfish then you can ever counter with anyone trying defend you. I want you to have a video of you saying how sorry you are but I know for the fact I know your not going to do it because your selfish.
Hello umm the guy here is just putting up a theory, and this is a april fools video so yeah if you didn't want to ruin the show for you i don't mean to be rude but maybye don't watch the video, also just in case you don't know what a theory is please Google it up, but yeah just don't take this video seriously and also if he does hate her he is entiteled to it's just his opinion , just look at it as just a new perpestive , sorry for my grammar but yeah good day ,in conclusion he is just sharing his theory or opinion. But yeah i agree i don't thibk twilight is a manipulator she is just not perfect tho this video is very convincing
@@keinimaris how much money did they pay you to help them out to make them look nice and friendly? 50,000 k or more plus I actually wanted them to say it themselves no one else because it's makes them more guilty and they are hiding something and I won't stop until I found out and Ill even go back to study the voice of this person.
@@keinimaris Yes I'm joking around, but they should have at least should have said at the end of the video it's their own option, but they'd be my own opinion but eh 😂💜
It probably was just an April fools joke but some of this actually would make great sense for example with the villains.. I always wondered why they didn't even attempt to reform a literal child 😂
Wait this video just made me realize Twi is pretty much no better than Cozy Glow, almost as if she is an grown Cozy, like exact same mentality. In Cozy's words-''Frienship is power.'',same thing.(Edit:haha, just got to the part talking about Cozy pretty much the same thing)
Okay.. one question.. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU? Second.. You are missing a lot of details. Twilight's behavior at the beginning is not very good, it is true, but everyone makes mistakes, which were then addressed to her later, she tried to fix them. Starlight's village was not happy, a smile does not always mean happiness, we saw ponies who were simply afraid to disappoint Starlight and their society, Starlight manipulated and controlled them. Plus Twilight herself did not go to this village to humiliate Starlight, she was led there by the map. All these futures are bad because Mane Six and the Elements of Harmony are important. Otherwise, villains like Discord, Nightmare Moon, Smobra, etc. would have taken over the world, that's a fact.
Shining Armor's game with Twilight is not a stupid game that Twilight decided to arrange. It's a test of the castle's security. WHAT THE FUCK IS IMPORTANT
Yeah i dont think Twilight deserves to be a princess or a leader or her wings, since her friends do MOST of the work. She started great but she became a jerk, ESPECIALLY when she became a winged princess. Twilight is the shows own Brian Griffin, BOTH started good but later on became awful!
April Fools
You could say Sunset Shimmer was her failed first attempt and so she created the school of magic to pick the best next candidate.
True she was groomed. This is better than the entire video

It was confirmed by the authors that Twilight will not outlive the mane six

Remember when we got here, I said, the future of a Equestria does not depend on me making friends, but the opposite was true and we realize she learned great lessons of friendship over the years, heck and the season four episode when discord, plunder seeds start taking over Ponyville discord says is these words I did not know you were the type of pony to believe she was more important, and then every pony else and then twilight says I’m not important then to anyone I’m sorry to assume that discord says it’s just that you agree to their plan to come back here to save your precious princess self, while your friends walking to danger for you I’m sure you all be the best of friends again when they return from that deeply get bonding experience that they’re having without you, then twilight goes back to her friend in the other free forest, and then she told her friends that they have to give up the elements of harmony to save the tree of harmony, and she realizes more importantly, what makes friendship friendship, so in the shell, and in the movie, she is not evil sure, she has made mistakes and flaws, but we all do so you should not judge twilight on those tiny little
Actions and realize that she has made lots of mistakes, but that doesn’t make twilight sparkle evil

Here's a concept that I think _could_ work :
Personally, I like to think that it all started with the Rainboom.

Given that this is an old April fool’s video, this is expected
The way you describe how Twilight manipulates everyone, reminds me of the Sirens from EG.
I think this is a sign after binging the whole series again 2 years later, hahaha
Equestria was shattered by an even Worse Villain, Opaline
If Wickedbinge did My Little Pony Good to Evil Tire list, Twilight Sparkle would rank somewhere in the Grey area.
9:30 i’m going to repeat a quote from Applejack “what kind of fertiliser have you rubbed your nose in?”
Twily : 🤨
Wasn't starlight's behaviour in "Cutie Map" 1 & 2 cultish?
Even Pinkie Pie didn't trust her
Other than that I agree with everything else you said, you're mostly right
Starlight was a cult leader, but a cult leader has Charisma, which Twilight hasn't.

Honestly, Id be okay with Luna being the ruler of Equestria but I guess not since shes the ruler of the moon which is perceived as "bad and scary" or "not as important as the sun or as magic" -_-
Also, as much as I don't want to admit this Twilight definitely does have narcissistic and OCD traits.

Nah but fr this is kinda interesting, even if it is a joke with many MANY oversights, its still an interesting perspective.
Someone needs to write a fanfic that follows the idea of Twilight being an evil manipulator
Twilight Sparkle is not Evil
Twily : LIES!!!! blasphemy!!!!!
Or is it...
Starswirl: stars and moons
Celestia: a sun
Luna: moon
Twighlight: stars
Sunset: sun
Starlight: stars
Sunburst: sun and stars
Sunny: stars
The only exceptions are Cadence and Flurry, both alicorns, but not associated with a lot of the drama over in Caterlot and Ponyville.
Prince Leon was shown as an alicorn in a French magazine, but he looks EXACTLY like Prince Blue Blood, same colors, cutie marks, freaking BOWTIE…
The only thing causing a linchpin in this is Twighlight and Sunset.
I Mean Your Not Wrong. Even If Shes Now A Villain Still Love Her. Shes Fun XD
Bro could be working in Cinemare sins
Why do I get the feeling that this is the same guy that created the Comatose Ash Theory? The reason Celestia made Twilight a Princess is because she had a vision that this would be a necessary action in order to save Equestria. If Twilight was really a villain, Celestia's visions would have warned her about it. People like to conveniently overlook this.
ik this is april fools joke but god it ate
The hero does not have to be likeable.
Make Equestria Great Again?
Please don't hate Twilight for this, I like her.
Also, G5 is BARELY canon, it has a tendency of being inconsistent to G$'s canon.
I am ISTJ as well, so I can speak out of experience, but often I am more honest than Twilight.
bro just completely ignored twilight’s hole character development
It's not her fault
I like ot but it sounds wrong like Seto Kaiba is the hero of yugioh thats not true it's Atem that the real hero but thats a good theroy
Looking back I wish twilight was never a princess
the protagonist is the hidden villain
Maybe.
Everything you just said is why I stopped giving a crap about this show after the last season.....
......at all.
I have never thought about it this way. This is kind of opening my mind.
Pinkie is best pony.
Fluttershy :
@@mistylover7398 -is a year older than Pinkie Pie. What's your point?
@@TheBryceTankthrust exactly.
Convincing argument. Good evidence. But I don’t think she the villain. I think she high strung and a bit controlling. But not evil.
11:12 Lesson Six 💀
Villain Twily is really interesting concept.
You had a point until Starlight.
She didn't know
@Gumball2 I think you just hate Twilight sparkle, because put it in real life you get invited to a part but I said no I have a go do a job or something like that wouldn't that make you selfish as well too.
@@Slayer602ttv uhh? You know what never mind there's really nothing stopping you from taking this seriously
@@Slayer602ttv wait are you trolling?XD also if you arent please dont it's an invasion of privacy it's not good to invade people's privacy
@@keinimaris Yes I'm joking around, but they should have at least should have said at the end of the video it's their own option, but they'd be my own opinion but eh 😂💜
God damn north korea mentioned in a mlp video 🤯
i think starlight should of been turned into an alicorn
Princess of what?
Princess of what?
She didn't even WANT friendship.
This all makes sense...... Except for you acting like what Starlight did to the village was a good thing
Okay.. one question..
I forgot to say something. Twilight didn't decide to rehabilitate Discord herself, Celestia asked her to do it. It was Celestia's plan.
Shining Armor's game with Twilight is not a stupid game that Twilight decided to arrange. It's a test of the castle's security. WHAT THE FUCK IS IMPORTANT
Check the date of the video.
Well
Twilight is A Villain 7:44
Pinkie was the REAL princess of friendship. NOT twilight.
I'm now seeing twilight in a different light now .... She's my least favorite like she making prefer zephyr more than her
Yeah i dont think Twilight deserves to be a princess or a leader or her wings, since her friends do MOST of the work. She started great but she became a jerk, ESPECIALLY when she became a winged princess. Twilight is the shows own Brian Griffin, BOTH started good but later on became awful!
Twilight sparkle is not villiant.
But your grammar is.
@@manuproulx2764 I guess he meant villia'nt

Really? I mean hes a kid technically? So ya i suppose
