film is awesome. the tech details of the pirate transmitter system were minimal but the movie was overall fun to watch. for reality, the tiny antenna on the jeep never would have worked at fm broadcast frequencies, but i ignore it and enjoy the film for what it is. i also think that this was christian slater's best film.
i mean, isn't the whole point of the movie that being a teenager at that time sucked and it was going to get worse in the 90's? i mean, this movie foreshadowed the 90's, grunge, hip hop, clothing, depression, is the "anti-JohnHughes teen movies" movie
Watched it tonight. This film still hits a hard note and somewhat ahead of its time or someone finally had the balls to hit this serious subject which is still a problem today. I agree with the soundtrack.
That scene of him with the stogie leaning back in the chair to this tune is my favorite part of the movie.
