20 Minute STANDING Knee Friendly Lower Body Workout with Dumbbells - NO squats NO lunges workout

  • Today I am taking you through a 20 minute knee-friendly lower body workout with dumbbells! It is a no squats no lunges workout making it safe for your knees. It is also an apartment friendly leg workout since there are no jumping exercises. This low impact leg workout will strengthen your entire lower body without putting too much strain on your knees. I promise you'll feel the burn in this sweaty low impact workout!
    To try something new, I did a voiceover for the warm-up and first round of exercises to provide form cues that will help you in the last 2 rounds. Let me know if that is something you liked and I will add that into more workouts!
    5 MINUTE COOL DOWN FOR AFTER THE WORKOUT: • 5 Minute Leg Day Cool ...
    KNEE-FRIENDLY LEG WORKOUT DETAILS:
    (use a dumbbell weight that is challenging for you!)
    3 minute standing warm-up:
    - 30 seconds back-to-back
    - 6 exercises
    20 minute knee friendly workout:
    - 7 exercises
    - all standing
    - need dumbbells (I use 15 lbs)
    - 45 seconds on
    - 15 seconds off
    - 30 second break between rounds

    Hi there, from someone currently dealing with osteoarthritis in my knees, I thank you! I have found lower body workout heaven! No floor work, no lunges, no squats..what more can a girl ask for? This was fabulous! And your voice over cues were excellent...they allowed me to concentrate on the correct form for each exercise. I will return to this over and over; and I'll be looking on your site for similar lower body workouts, along with upper body standing and seated. Bravo!😊❤

    Will these knee friendly workouts help ease knee pain?

      It won’t help ease pain but it will help you build up strength on your lower body without causing more pain! I’ll do a video on some mobility exercises I did that helped me ease my pain after my knee surgery!

    Workout was pretty good but it would be nice if she engaged with the audience, she’s very stoic. It makes the workout feel longer and not as enjoyable.
