I had to have my belt changed on my Q50 before I turned it in last year. They tried to say it was the turbocharger and it was my fault. I showed them the TSB and they couldn’t argue with it anymore. They fixed it under warranty right before the warranty ran out.

My belt just snapped yesterday doing a retune ugh. Checking this video now. You can see in the beginning of the video how you tensioner marker is more on the right side showing stretch while at the end at 12:52 it's right in the middle. Super interesting!

Thanks for the video Boost! I have 35K on my Q60 and after viewing this video I decided to change it (just in case). I ordered the part and changed it myself. It wasn't too hard to change the belt but I had to remove the air boxes. I hate putting those stock air boxes are a pain. However, thanks again for the video. I definitely hit the LIKE button and I've been a subscriber since 2018.

Okay, first time I heard this noise (squeak at 1:08) Infiniti swapped my turbos... as soon as I picked up my car, noise was still there. Clowns at Infiniti tried to tell me it's normal..drove it for 12 months (just lived with it)...all along,I was convinced it was the belts. Noise is still there on turbo load so I took it back a week ago and it's been sitting at the dealership as they are "testing it"... Gonna call them on Monday and demand they swap the belts. What a joke. Ps thanks for posting this...

Awesome belt is on and no more squeeky noise at all so far. It took me a bit to put on because is my first time and limited space
I removed also the air filter caps and filter and gave me way more room to work in. The used belt if you look at it you can tell it is slightly wear out but looked normal but you can compare and see the ridges are much smaller and the texture is wear out as well.
Thanks my guy the video helped a lot

Had a buddy with a 2018 and AMS intakes come by to do my belt replacement today. It didn't happen. My 2017 S has stock air boxes but also another fan control module mounted on the rear of the fan shroud on the passenger side. It is very tight. The amount of difference in available space between my 2017 and his 2018 is crazy.
So, you're likely in the same boat as me. After I watched this video I was like, man that's pretty easy. Then I removed the air intake shroud and saw there was far less room to get in there. Oh well.
